Well, I used to enjoy my trip to Park Avenue but I must say, this place has gone downhill quick. I'm not sure if it's the economy and they are skimping on their food preparation or hiring of incompetent cooks who most likely were just released from prison, but the food that I was served on Saturday afternoon was un-edible, even for a homeless person. My girlfriend ordered the BLT which was a pile of greasy, uncooked bacon which we immediately sent back in exchange for something else. I ordered a pulled pork sandwich which was as cold as the ice in my drink cup, I was able to put up with it and just eat it because I was so hungry. Bad idea. Within 5 minutes, I began to feel queasy and had to walk outside in fear of vomiting all over the floor. After talking my self out of puking, the vomit basically transferred to my colon where I barely made it back home to punish my porcelain. Do not eat here unless you want to eat uncooked food poorly prepared by ex-cons.

It took 25 minutes to get our salads when they arrived they were dry as if they were sitting out for about 8 hours and have not been washed. After which or appetizer came out; the corn fritters were pretty good.. 10 minutes later are food arrived after tracking down the Manager.. Who had a blase attitude.. This is my second time eating at Park Avenue in 8 years my first experience was the same I can honestly say I will not be coming back.. Unless I really get hungry for corn fritters.

The Ribs are good, service is great ! My issue is I order from the kids menus when I go out, not for the price but for the portion . I was recently told they can no longer allow an adult to order from the kids menu. I can understand if I were getting more food for less money however I dont. If they dont want me ordering kids meal then offer adults smaller portion meals . Why would I continue to eat at a place that forces me to buy more food than I want ? I wont !

Very disappointed. Ribs were under cooked and did not fall off the bone. I even tried heating them in the oven but that did not work either. Will try one more time after season. Have always loved the baby backs. This is the first time they you have let me down. Please go back to the reular ct green beans. The french cut were very stringy. On the positve side the mac and cheese and the crnbread were excellent.

Was my 1st time eating here. Amazing food and even better service. I Had the catfish dinner and for $15, its more food than any one person can possibly eat and absolutely delicious. Also if you ask for Amanda, you cant go wrong. Shes Friendly, easy on the eyes, and keeps your drink full. All and all, one of the best dining experiences Ive had.

They changed their menus and added syrup to their corn fritters but everything else seems to be the same ol park avenue that we remember, good food and good service... these qualities are hard to find in this area, thankfully pa hasnt changed. Bbq chicken was good, sweet tea, corn fritters, fries, bbq beans, corn and toast all good.

The ribs were amazing! As well add the mashed potatoes and baked beans. I would not suggest getting the Mac and cheese though, it was really mushy and bland. The corn bread was also really tasty. The decor was fun, and had a lot of interesting stuff to look at with out being over whelming.

Literally the most amazing barbecue place you can find. Some people may not like it, but i moved to NC and expected the barbecue up here to be as good or better and it was complete garbage compared to PA. Never had a bad or even average meal here. Always excellent and 100% recommended.

I thought it was going to be a great time but instead it got me and my mate sick . Felt like throwing up after eating the food, the food was decent I believe it was just the pickles DO NOT EAT THEM . I was super sick even 2days later after eating .Will not be going back ....

So much food! So good too! The meat falls right off the bones and there are many sauce choices for anyone. Im from Canada and I wish we had one of these restaurants there for us. Our server Amanda was very friendly and the service was quick & Awesome. !!!!.

Not the best BBQ Ive ever had, but its the gold standard in the in area. Reliable and family friendly, its the place to go aver a baseball game with the family. Good menu and service. Been here hundreds of times since they opened many years ago.

I wasnt happy that the Brisket wasnt pieces. It was shredded. The baby back ribs were good. The spicy pickles they give you with the meal were awesome. I did not like the milk cake at all. Average place.

Pretty good Barbecue spot. Just avoid the ribs. Theyre cooked well and sauced well but lack the smokey flavor that I think is a requirement for great ribs.
