Bubbas Backyard BBQ is our new favorite place. Every item we ordered was delicious, with that unmistakable homemade touch and taste. Bubbas does not serve anything straight from a can, thats for sure. The pulled pork is so moist and flavorful that it does not even need any sauce, though you should try each of their sauces - all are excellent. The smoked meatloaf is the best meatloaf you will find. And the footlong hotdog - amazing and gigantic. The owner and the staff are very hospitable, and offered us a sampler plate of various side items. They know how to cook collards, and every side was yummy that it was hard to choose which ones to order with our meals. Bubbas sweet potato casserole is light and fluffy, with just the right amount of sweetness. The potato salad was a favorite. What a treat to find jalapeno cornbread and butter beans (with just the right amount of pepper.) We felt a bit silly getting so excited about the corn on the cob, but it truly was the best corn on the cob we have ever eaten - ever. Oh, and dont let us forget to mention the Jalapeno Poppers - outrageously good, never have had better. At the end of our meal, our hostess brought us samplers of both banana pudding and rocky road pudding. Unfortunately, we were all so stuffed that we could not eat dessert there, but we ordered some banana pudding to go. In our family, we dont even bother with banana pudding that does not come close to Grandmas, but, seriously, Bubbas banana pudding was better than Grandmas. We look forward to returning to Bubbas very soon and supporting this locally owned restaurant, probably next time on a Sunday right after church, because Bubbas offers that authentic Southern lunch that we always love to enjoy on Sundays, with awesome meat choices and many country vegetable options and other sides. We want to try the smoked turkey next time. Bubbas is a great BBQ place, but it is also a fantastic meat-and-three kind of place. Our only regret is that we have never made it to Bubbas before, but we look forward to changing that.

Terrible, my wife picked up take out on the way home, when she got home there was no texas toast with any of our meals. They packed the sauce in with the meat and it was all over all of our sides making them inedible. I called to complain and see if the manager would remedy the situation, but got no answer, then I actually tried the sliced pork. Wow, forget it I wouldnt eat there again if it was free. The sliced pork was just that...it looked and tasted like thick sliced lunch meat. My wife finally did get a hold of them...the manager said she would definitely take care of us next time...NEXT TIME...are u kidding me what about the "meal" we just paid for...thats just a oopsie on my bill I guess. No there will be no next time, do yourself and ur stomach a favor and go to memaws or woodys for some quality food. This place is a joke.

Bubbas Backyard BBQ has the works when it comes to BBQ and man, it sure tastes great! This was one of the best dine-in experiences we have ever had. After trying a sample of all of Bubbas sides, which were all too delicious to choose from, we finally narrowed it down to four, that would go with our two diners. The ribs, brisket, pulled pork and ham that we ate was absolutely astonishing, and its unlike any BBQ I have tasted before; in a good way! Were from South Carolina, and we know Barbecue. Bubbas Backyard BBQ has a unique family recipe taste that you just cant find anywhere, except in a warm, friendly, welcoming place like Bubbas. Well been wanting to try this place as I have found no good bbq since moving to Melbourne almost 1 year ago but this is nothing great. When I walked in I was not greeted at all, wasnt sure if we seat ourselves or not but took a seat anyways...(despite the server / owners daughter being right there). Wasnt sure what to order, ordered my son pork sliders w/ baked beans and I got bbq leg quarter with okra and green beans. We were given a sample of the sides...let me tell you the sides are terrible except for the okra...my leg quarter was over cooked...hard to dry out dark meat....the green beans were THE WORST thing I have ever tasted! Will not be back!

Went Saturday night for dinner, had a full slab of ribs with slaw and macaroni. Everything was great! Nice big, tender, meaty ribs with almost no fat. The brisket fries appetizer was delicious, the gravy was excellent! My girlfriend ordered the 3 meat platter combo, and it was great as well. Excellent brisket, pulled pork, and meatloaf! Three different bbq sauces, all homemade and good. The peanut butter pie was fantastic. Prices were good, and portions were plentiful. Id deff recommend this establishment, and Ill be back myself soon!

While having our phone fixed down the street at SpaceCoast iRepair we stopped in to try the food out. Wow Is an understatement! My son and I are picky eaters and liked pretty much everything. Bubba himself came out to make sure everything was going well. Very polite and personable hes the kinda guy that makes you feel at home. It is the best pulled pork, brisket, potato salad and barbeque Ive ever had. Thanks Bubba well be back for more!

I happened to find Bubbas by chance searching for BBQ while on vacation, and we are so glad we did!! Our server was so courteous and gave us a small sampling of about 8 different menu items since this was our first time there. Pulled pork, Mac and cheese, and cornbread were unbelievable.. as well as the peach cobbler!! We even purchased two bottles of their bbq sauce to go!! Thank you for such a pleasant experience!

Authentic barbecue, sauces from scratch, and good quality meat- much better than that crap from Sonnys. First timers get a sampler platter of really good homemade side dishes and desserts! They even have deep fried oreos and twinkies! You can definitely tell that none of their food comes from a bucket or a bag. Its like something youd get at a really good neighborhood bbq in the South.

Just moved to the area, and had a hankering for some barbeque. Glad I decided to stop here. The service was great, not overbearing but attentive. The mac and cheese with green chilies was delicious, as was the pulled pork sandwich and baked beans. If youre in the mood for some heat, try the reaper sauce, you wont be disappointed.

If you drive by Melbourne and dont stop in for Bubbas, you are crazy. We travel a lot because we work online, and I swear this is the best BBQ joint since Texas. Its the real deal, and the owner is a genuine bonafide farmer. Try the banana pudding, OMG! This aint no canned pudding, its like grandma makes it.

Found this place on google on our way down to South Florida. Excellent food....ribs, pulled pork, brisket, all homemade sides and sauces are amazing!! Banana pudding to die for!!! Owners daughter is delightful and if you say Al sent you, youll get a free pudding sample! Must try!!
