The first time I order ribs when I got home I had a box full of bones barely no meat on bones.....then a few days later I called for a over the phone order and the older gentleman (the owner ) was very rude to me telling me wat I can and cannot order his exact words were you dont know wat u want with a smirk then told me I couldnt add nothing on the order yelling and screaming at me I new to the neighborhood and I live on the same street as the restaurant I will or my family will never go there again ......old mean bastard

The bbq there is hands down the best in the city. I have never had a better shoulder sandwich or po-boy. The sauce is so good, I take some home and put it on other food. Id drink it if I could. Ok, I do drink it. The folks that work there make you feel like part of the family. Its just a take out place, but I find that I hang out to talk to everyone. I dont live nearby, but I make the trek to go there just to pick up. Cannot say enough how much I enjoy this place.

when i yearn for a shoulder sandwich mt. pleasant bbq is the only place i go. not to be confused with the location further up kinsman, because these people actually talk and have a decient repor with the customers, as well as provide you with that smokey juicy goodness that every now and again you must have!!ATTENTION!!!! SMILE EPIDEMIC: when you enter youre greeted with a smile and you leave with one. genuine people serving genuine Clevelanders!!!

I tell you the truth . when I am craving the bar b que of my youth , I head over to mt pleasant A polish boy or shoulder dinner is all that will satisfy .I have a son who lives in Reynoldsburg Ohio .when he is coming to Cleveland hEe will call ahead and order a Polish boy .There is nothing in his area that comes close to Mt Pleasant . Hooray for them! Hope they never close GO THERE AND GET REAL BAR B QUE

never eat here the chicken they gave me I ordered 25 wings they were nasty barely any sauce and tasted like somebody just stuck them in the microwave and they were call and just plain gross the fries were the same way just nasty and gross I wasted $31 and how to draw all the food in the trashI recommend going to shrimp boat up the street they are way better in the chicken is fresh and tastes really good
