These previous reviews were either written by the owners of Spiga or their unattentive staff. I recently visited Spiga for dinner with my wife, we arrived to see a homeless man harrassing a couple dining outside which made our decision to dine indoors. Make sure to cherish your first drink because it might be your last if you dont tackle your server as they run by your table. The homeade pasta was soggy at best and this place has no marinara or tamato sauce to speak of just some over cooked tomatoes with way too much truffle oil. And the kicker of it all at the end of the night they included the gratuity in my check for a party of two. I found they do this to everyone and im not surprised because the servers here are more like statues.

Побывав в ресторане окунулись в атмосферу маленькой Италии. Очень приветливый и расторопный персонал,прекрасная кухня. Заказ принесли молниеносно,официантка очень внимательна. Белоснежные скатерти, элегантный интерьер,уютно и очень гостеприимный хозяин. Мы были втроем,заказывали разные блюда и все в восторге и от кухни и от обслуживания!

Comemos Spaghetti com mexilhões e Spaghetti com frutos do mar. Antes de chegarem os pratos pediram-nos se podíamos trocar de mesa pois ia chegar um grupo grande e queriam juntar 2 mesas. Dissemos que sim e nos ofereceram, como cortesia, a sobremesa no valor de U$18. Excelente comida e atendimento impecável.

Ate here in late September 2014 (Party of 4). Ambiance was great, but that was about it. I will preface this by saying I am not overly critical of what I eat and have basic expectations of it being fresh. The bread was extremely stale and slightly frozen. Appetizers: The melons were not ripe. The salad and soups were mediocre. Main Courses: The food was less than mediocre, but not completely inedible. The raviolis redefined al dente. Someone once told me you can judge a restaurant by its bread, and this saying surely held up here. Service was slow, but we were not in a rush, so did not mind.

The restaurant was great. We were a bit annoyed to be stuck outside at 15 degrees celcius (there were no tables left inside) and that I got carded and couldn,t order wine (IM freaking 27! lol), but the food was great. Our waitress was sweet and we enjoyed our time there. compared to restaurant on Ocean drive, it is so much better! I had the duck breast and my partner haD THE gnocchi. both were delicious. :)

The menu is large and alot to choose from. It was one of the few places in South Beach were I joined the "clean plate club" after my meal, I ate it all! I enjoyed the potato dumpling gnocchi with fresh tomato sauce, garlic, and basil. Our waiter was very knowledgeable and had great wine selections for my boyfriend and I!

Pasta was authentic and amazing, filet mignon in peppercorn sauce was also very tasty. Ricotta cheesecake was a nice way to end that delicious meal! Our waitress Franchesca was friendly, attentive and very helpful. New favorite Italian restaurant, worth every penny!

Excellent service. Attentive and friendly without being too obtrusive. Romantic with white linen tablecloths/napkins. Veal with porcini mushrooms was very flavorful (albeit a little tough). But this was one of the best restaurants I have visited in over a year!

why anyone would eat italian in south beach is ia mystery to me, but we come back here every year. delightful fresh italian place with loads of atmosphere. try any of the stuffed homemade pastas and you wont go wrong.

1 hour and 10 minutes from ordering to eating... Wasnt even that busy. The salad took 25 minutes. Overall, the food and service is good, but the kitchen is slow.
