I cant think of anything about Via Verdi that isnt great - First, kudos to the Chefs/Entrepreneurs who put together the idea to fuse a martini bar and a casual northern Italian restaurant in the developing area north of Midtown. Second, the restaurant has several environments depending on the mood you are in: - the bar is open and airy, and you can enjoy a masterfully crafted cocktail and the full menu. Its a great place to watch a sporting event, or just to chill out. The guys at Via Verdi do a lot of events and get togethers, which keeps it interesting. - there is a very large outdoor patio for dining outside in the fresh air - there is a nice sized, cool dining room in case its hot outside - there is a romantic two person table inside the wine cantina, in case you want a romantic setting for the night (you probably want to call well ahead to reserve that table). Third, the service is excellent - the staff is well trained, knows the food, is cordial and friendly, and all of them seem to speak Italian, English and Spanish. So you cant go wrong. Also, you will see one of the Chef/Owners walking around at almost all times, checking on the tables and providing recommendations. Forth, and this is a big one - FREE AMPLE PARKING. Yes, there is a free parking lot with approximately 20 spaces directly outside the restaurant. Where have you seen that lately in Miami? No obnoxious valet to deal with.... no over aggressive ticket cops waiting to give you a ticket 2 minutes after your parking expires. No tow truck mafia waiting to tow your car at any moment for some invented infraction. You can enjoy your meal and wine without worry. Who needs South Beach when youve got Via Verdi? And finally the most important thing - the cuisine. The guys that opened this place are the same guys that were the executive chefs at Quattro on Lincoln Road - so you can expect the same very high food quality and some new menu items as well. I actually saw an episode of Iron Chef that they were on! Fresh burrata cheese, seasonal dishes (truffles anyone?), a great wine selection... awesome. I would be remiss to neglect to mention the resident mixologist/owner - try the Italian Mojito - you wont regret it (ok you might regret it the next morning, but thats a different story......)

On Sunday evening, myself and a bunch of my Biscayne Corridor neighbors did a Restaurant Crawl on legendary Biscayne Boulevard. The first destination on our crawl was Via Verdi Cucina Rustica and it was a fantastic start to a fun and fabulous evening sampling delicious fare from several restaurants along the boulevard. At 5 pm we descended on Via Verdi, damp and windblown as it was blustery evening! Right away we were warmly welcomed by the staff. The bartender got cracking immediately mixing Aperol Spritz, one of Via Verdis featured cocktails for us. Wasting no time, servers brought out plates of piping hot, delicious focaccia pizza topped with mushrooms. Yum, yum - it hit the right spot! As we had several other restaurants lined up, we set out to do one drink and a small plate at each place. Based on their focaccia, I must return to Via Verdi for a full dinner! Ive heard wonderful feedback about this lovely spot and a glance at the menu whets ones appetite for more.... and more! An ideal spot to dine with friends and savor authentic and innovative Italian food which is fresh and flavorsome! Via Verdi is a relatively new addition (open about a year) to the thriving MiMo restaurant scene. Located at the corner of Biscayne Boulevard and 69th street in a grand, canopied space with ample parking at the back and several dining options. We dined in the bar area which is airy and casual with a friendly, laid back ambience. Theres also a terrace for dining alfresco and an indoor dining room. Thank you Via Verdi Cucina Rustica for kicking off our inaugural Restaurant Crawl. We LOVED your restaurant, your friendly staff, delicious cocktail and tasty dish. We shall return!

Im going to put this simply, because the restaurant is simple and refined: Via Verdi is a lovely dining experience. I was there on a Saturday night, was seated easily for two. Had a great waiter, who took time to explain the options and make suggestions for us. We had the meatballs as an appetizer, which were succulent and crisp. For proper entree we had two pasta dishes which were simple but hit the spot. As a suggestion for anyone, if you do decide to get the Plin, make sure to eat it quickly. The butter based sauce is delicious, but will congeal like butter normally does and become less palatable once it cools. Maybe even request a different sauce if so health-inclined. We also had a nice Italian red wine, for a reasonable price. I think what really set aside the restaurant was the very friendly wait staff, and the outdoor ambiance. The outdoor seating is spacious (youre not crammed into other tables) and delightfully scenic. We requested romantic and secluded seating, and were very grateful that they obliged. Will definitely be coming back. Full recommendation.

The food is really good, even though the portion size is kind of small. Also, one thing I didnt like is that they only have one brand of beer(an Italian brand), but different variations of that brand(lager, ale, IPA etc). The only reason I didnt give it a full five stars, is for the 2 reasons I stated above. The portion size and the beer selection. But overall still I would highly recommend people check out this restaurant if you live in the area, or happen to be in the neighborhood looking for a good bite to eat.

Great place! Their ravioli is amazing. They have happy hour everyday and 50% off dine-in pasta on Mondays. The manager is very welcoming and always greet us when we come. He does a nice job checking on people in a genuine way. Not just to check it off the list. Very pleasant. Waiters are polite as well. The pasta is amazing. Some of my favorites are the beef ravioli, mushroom ravioli and the cappellaci is delicious too. My favorite part is that they allow dogs on their outdoor area. Love coming here because of that.

Great atmosphere. Exquisite dishes. The wait staff were welcoming, attentive & extremely kind. After meeting the owner Fabrizio, I understood why everyone exuded so much class and professionalism. The owner to mildly put it, made it a priority to speak with each patron that sat at his restaurant. He made sure they were attended to and were enjoying their meal. I highly recommend this place. Its very quaint and tres chic. I absolutely loved it. #TwoThumbsUp
