The venue and the view are really nice, but we went with a group of friends and we all agree in being very disappointed with many things: -the time of the service, they take their time to take our order. - the size of the entrees was really small, - dont think is fair to participate in Miami Spice, and charge additional $ 15 for the course that most of the people will like (a really small piece of picana with 4 little asparagus, yes you read well,4 asparagus, and a mini square of potatoes with cream, ah!, and it was suppose to came with caramelized onions, but we are still looking for them... Food was very over priced and they include the 18% in the bill, honestly, you can eat better and pay less in plenty of other Miami restaurants.

Van Aikens loss/departure, though philosophically regrettable, has done nothing to diminish the quality of the food, nor the service, at Tuyo. To the contrary, the restaurant is now under the stewardship and control of an executive-level member of the staff at Miami-Dade who is and for a long time has been a food (and wine) professional, and hes really committed to and passionate about what he does, and what his people (most, but not all, of whom are students in the culinary school) do. The food has never been better (sorry, Norman) and the service, as good as youd wish for. If youre really lucky, the one in charge will come to greet you and make a wine (or, better yet, Bourbon) suggestion. Oh, and the view? Killer! Just go.

One of the best dining experiences Ive had in Miami. Food was fantastic. Husband ordered the short rib and I had the American red snapper. Desserts were also exceptional. Service was great and our waiter was quite knowledgeable about everything on the menu and how they were prepared. Amazing view of the city. Perfect start to a romantic evening. We will be back!

It’s the restaurant of the Culinary Institute MDC (Miami Dade College). It has an elegant ambience and a very interesting view of “Downtown” Miami. We were at Tuyo trying the Miami Spice menu (only available in August and September) which is inspired in Spanish cuisine. We had a pleasant experience, so we will visit it again.

Tuyo is amazing place with beautiful views on city and gulf. One of the best service Ive ever had. So attentive and helpful. And food is.... something outstanding. On top of that as for me it is reasonably priced. Great place to have a romantic dinner.

The only downside is that they close by 10 PM which is too early to be honest for a weekend. They serve drinks but NO HOOKAH. That was a great let down. The staff said that they are waiting for the approval of the same. The staffs were nice.

Stylish decor and bright at lunch, great food and prompt service. Oh, the view is amazing. Probably a good pick for pre-game or pre-concert venue near AA Arena.
