The service was horrible. I was the only person in line for 20 min and no one came to seat me until 2 caucasion women came in and the manager went to them and asked to assist them with seating. I spoke up since they were BEHIND me. Well they sat me at a table but the other women were served and I was not. This is 2013 if this Bob Evans or the entire chain does not want African Americans at their resturant all they have to do is say it. The will be a day of comments and then it will be forgotten. The restaurant & it patrons will be happy that there are no African American customers and African American customers will know that our "green" money is not wanted there and we can go someplace that wants our money. BTW, I was neatly, professionally dressed, handicapped with a cane & in pain. I had an appt at a Pain Specialist across the street and had 30 min to spare and just wanted a cup of coffee and a desert. This was so upsetting. Its 2013 not 1950 in the deep south.

Service was very good and our food arrived in a timely manner. Unfortunately, the yumminess I always associated with Bob Evans food was not evident. The meatloaf had some strange barbecue sauce all over it, the beef gravy I requested for my mashed potatoes had zero beef (or any other) flavor and was the color of used motor oil. The corn was cold and tasted like green and red peppers which I dislike. Stop trying to improve on good old-fashioned home cooking. Should have had the chicken fried steak like my fiance did. The best part of my meal was the banana bread and the coffee.

Our server was kind, the food was, eh.. The problem being the condition of the restaurant. The seats were lathered with syrup as was the table, I had to stick a napkin to my chair in an attempt to reconcile the condition of my outfit. We also watched the couple who was sat across from us go through the same type of experience. My recommendation, learn how to clean a rag out before you smear syrup all over the tables and booths.

The sign on the wall says, "We treat strangers like friends and friends like family" and this store really means it. Every Bob Evans I have ever been to has been friendly and kind with great tasting food at fair prices (even better with all the coupons they send out!) and service from someone who treats us like family. This is our "go to" default restaurant anywhere we see one!

Service alot faster now. Breakfast delicious but waitress seemed peeved when asked for sugar and check. Threw huge bunch of packets on table walked away and seemed annoyed when asked for check and had to leave conversation with other waitress. You guys are expensive I spent double what I would at eat n park . I love Bob Evans food but the wait staff keeps disappointing.

(Edited on 2/23/17) Im convinced there has been a management change at this location cause the service has been improving. Tonight my waitress was Sara who could have not been nicer. The restaurant is close to home, good service, quick and good quality. They do need to turn the a/c down a notch though, its usually cold in here.

The food was o.k. I ordered soup and a half sandwich ,the soup came right away,however the sandwich came much later.No apology,the place wasnt even busy.Also waittress didnt ask if I wanted more coffee.By the way the manager had to bring the sandwich out.The wait staff in Washington is much nicer.

This place is usually not too bad, but today marks the second time my dad and I have not been waited on or served promptly... No one came to the section we were put for like 15 minutes... We were sitting for about 10 minutes before anyone even said anything about drinks...

Waitress was very sweet & nice - but the food took a very long time to come out. The entire restaurant seemed very disorganized and lacking in effective leadership/management. In addition - the Assistant Manager checked us out & was dressed sloppily & unprofessional.

Food was cold. Coffee was bottom of pot and cold. Waitress never asked if our meal was o.k. or if we needed anything else. Did not ask if we were interested in desert. The cashier did not ask if we enjoyed our meal. We seldom go to Bob Evens and this is why. 0 stars.

Service was horrible, waitress was very slow. No second coffee offered, some of the breakfast food was luke warm, had to request butter and jelly twice. Manager was equally bad. This is a place to avoid! Kings or Eat and Park offer much better service.
