The place is very nice and pleasant. For first timers you have to be patient and understand the whole concept. After a long talk with someone that was explaining the menu, I decided to try a classic cheese arepa. I chose shredded fresh cheese, but on the menu didnt have option to choose what to drink. I decided to go with a cup of water. I paid and while waiting for my order I selected the 3 salsa available which all of them were really good. I received my order, really well presented, and the first bite was a totally deception. A grilled corn masa with cold cheese. It was salty. The best part was the 3 little salsa which helped me to continue to eat. I was expecting the cheese to be warm at a point where was easy to melt in your mouth. My expectation was higher than what they offered. For that reason I believe this was my first and only visit to not so Amaize.

For the amount of food you get the Arepas are priced too high, You can spend a couple dollars less & get a pita at The Halal Guys and get double the servings. Theres also an Arepas place Inside a gas station in Pines where you spend the same amount or a little less and get tripple the amount, Another thing the meats arent even that fresh. Wouldnt recommend this place to anyone only because you can go to way better places spend the same or less and get way more for your money. Only reasons theres so many positive reviews is because the restaurant bribes you with a free dessert and obviously you wont get anything free with a negative remark.

Fui con muchas expectativas y que desilusión tan terrible, la atención excelente pero la comida es lo más malo en comida venezolana que en mi vida probé, la arepa sin sabor y la cachapa OMG voy a ir al Doral y les veo a traer una de otro lugar al que acostumbro ir para que aprendan como se hace.

First time today at Amaize. The quality of ingredients and the service are the two things that stood out to me most. The quality of ingredients that were used were superb, and the staff treated you as if you were their #1 customer. I did not give this review the full 5 stars because I was disappointed that the drink was not part of the combo price. Most combo deals include the drink. I recommend eating here if you like good food, good service, and good portion sizes! Amaize, keep making great Arepas!

We use to come here because the food and attention, today was horrible the cashier give us the food wrong 2 times, the lady that served dropped the cheese from the arepa, I had to asked for forks and knifes and we received 3 knifes and one fork for 2 arepas!! We didnt received the cheese that dropped from the arepa or the sided and no manager., It is sad when a place starts good and i5 just goes bad. Very disappointed

This was a decent place to eat. Service could have been better directed. The taste of the foods was amazing yet the presentation could have been better. This is also a great location for the establishment, there are lots of people ready and willing to try arepas! !! The best thing is there isnt really another place like AMAIZE around the area which makes it a great addition to the Tower Shoppes!

Mi lugar favorito en comida. Cualquier plato que pidas es buenísimo. 100% recomendado. Aparte eres atendido por los propios manager con mucha amabilidad. Son los mejores!!!!

Maybe I just dont get it. As it was my first time having this sort of food I asked for help with my order. The young man behind the counter suggested the white cheese. The pocket had almost no flavor and the cheese even less. $6 for this is a bit much. The place was clean and the staff were nice but I guess I just dont like this.

I love this place, but the music does not match the cuisine of the food. It bothers me how Hispanic-inspired music is not played. It completely kills the ambiance of eating arepas, when Im hearing Michael Buble in the background. We need to be proud of the Hispanic heritage. Play some Juanes or Mana, not Coldplay. Drives me nuts.

I am in love with their roasted red pepper soup, I always need to get the combo just to have that soup! Their arepas are strictly Venezuelan which I appreciate the flour based arepas over the corn ones (more light in my opinion) and its good to see a Latin based joint here in Davie, need especially needed a Venezuelan joint. :)

Great place to grab a quick lunch or just lounge with friends and good food. The meals are inexpensive and very sattisfying. Unlimited possibilities of what you can get with the build your own arepas. Good service, good food, and a good environment all come together to make Amaize a great restaurant.

A great place for a different variety of Latin flavor food. Had the pulled pork and Gouda arepa along with chicken soup; it was fresh and hot. I have had the roasted pepper and Gouda soup which is excellent . Very reasonably price. Great value for the price. Friendly staff. Will be back soon!

Great alternative place to the common burgers and burritos in the area! You can customize the "arepa" in so many ways, lots of options for breakfast, lunch and even dinner. They also have Vegan options. Great taste, presentation and fast service. Highly recommended!

long overdue in central Broward county! Menu options are great, service is A+, went there with my daughters on a Sunday for late breakfast and we couldnt be happier, there was something for everyone, which is not always easy when you go out with teenagers.

Food was okay, service was less than thrilling. For example when I went there, their soda machine needed refreshing and each time someone told them about it they just shrugged it off and says OK. Overall the place seemed less than amazing.

Tipical "looks good , tastes nothing " ... the arepas dont taste anything at all (we tried 4 different ones) , and of 30$ i any other place you eat so much better and bigger ones!! Whoever says its delicious never aten arepa before !!

Over priced, the food was not that great, I ordered the gouda cheese arepa and it was a mouth full of cold cheese. I was not able to taste the sauces because they were out.... this is the first and last time.

This place is really overpriced. The food is ok quality but there are other places where you can get similar food thats tastier and at more decent prices. The ambiance is nice and the staff is friendly though.

If you wan something different from burgers and fries try this place, stuffed arepas are Colombian/ Venezuelan style and their service is courteous and fast. Prices are fair compared with their competitors
