Loved it! My boyfriend and I went on a Sunday afternoon for the first time. We were seated right away in a small private booth that was surprisingly comfy for its size. Rick was our waiter and introduced us to the rewards program which we signed up for. Everyone was very pleasant! Even as we were walked to our seats we were smiled at and greeted by every employee we passed. The manager came by and asked how everything was. He was nice. The food was very good. I had the Whiskey burger and my boyfriend got the hot one with the jalapeño on top. We got the onion right appetizer - which was huge and tasty. We got the stick truffles for dessert which werent bad but not so out of this world that I would get them again. Theyre promoting an ice cream cake that looks yummy. The decor was really cool! Lots of interesting framed posters and such. The restaurant had a decent amount of people in it but it wasnt overly loud. Overall it was a really nice experience. If you want to know youll get good service ask if Rick is there. *Second time I went with my dad* My dad and I got Rick as out waiter which I was really glad for! He took our drink orders and then went to help another table. Not but a few seconds later a woman comes up and asks what we want to drink. We told her that we just gave Rick our order and she said "Yea, but Im going to get it started for him." It was impossible for Rick and this woman to have any conversation or communication about what we wanted! We told her and she brought our drinks... Sort of. My dad got a shake. His was all there and fine. I got a root beer float but she didnt give me the root beer! She said to me "And hell bring you the root beer ok?" and walked away. Rick didnt come by immediately after we got our drinks so I was sitting there with nothing. Rick felt bad when I had to ask him for the root beer. When our food came out yet another person brought that and asked us if there was anything we needed! I wanted Fire Cracker sauce for my fries. Do you think I ever got the sauce? Nope. Because I didnt tell my own waiter! They werent all that busy, they just had too many people doing too many things and no one was talking to each other. So, lesson: if you go, make sure you only tell your own writer things. Or, you put your foot down and you tell the skinny brat to bring you your freaking root beer so you can drink something!

I always have to go for my free birthday burger, so last night was the night. While weve had mixed experiences here, last night was better than usual, so Im going to upgrade my star rating. Usually the service here is on the slow side. Last night was different. The service was prompt, friendly and very efficient. There was a new addition to the menu that I just had to try - poutine as an app! Yes, that amazing Canadian delight of French fries, brown gravy, mushrooms and fried cheese curds. RR kicked it up a notch by adding a garlic aioli to the mix. My Canadian friends would probably laugh at the shrooms and aioli, but they havent tried it! This was some tasty poutine! I could have just skipped the burger and had a double order of this stuff. The garlicky goodness of the aioli, along with the crunch of the fried cheese curds with the fries and gravy was a real treat. I followed that with the Whiskey River burger. I always substitute fresh onion for the fried to save a couple of hundred calories. Yeah, I hear you laughing after that poutine description. The burger was done just the way I wanted. The sweet potato fries were okay, but not as good as usual. They needed salt and they werent as hot as they might have been. We also shared a pumpkin pie shake, which was truly delightful. If you havent been here in a while, you might want to check it out - if for no other reason than the poutine. :)

Each time I eat here, I am reminded why I shouldnt. This review is only reviewing todays experience though. My friends and I went to lunch here after the movies. We got sat immediately and the waitress took our order and then comes back 10 mins later and says the computer crashed and needs our order again. But she wrote it down when she took it! So the four of us repeated our orders. I ordered the Cobb salad with no cheese, dressing on the side. I repeated that I really didnt want cheese. About half and hour later, they brought out our meals. And my salad had a giant pile of cheese. I called the waitress over and explained that I ordered it with no cheese. She apologies and takes the salad away. Two minutes later, shes brings back a salad thats got a huge section missing. They removed the section with the cheese and gave me the same salad back. Too bad, there was still crumbs in it. I asked her to take it back. As I was no longer looking forward to eating it. The burgers the guys ordered came with "bottomless" fries. But each order consisted of like 10 steak fries. Lame. My friend ordered his burger without mayo and of course it came with mayo. This restaurant is a solid zero star in my book -- too bad one star is the minimum.

The most appallingly awful meal I have had in many years. Everything was wrong. Server took ten minutes to come to the table. The food then took over thirty minutes and it was cold plus the place wasnt even half full. One meal was further delayed another ten minutes and then also cold. The manager came over to comp that meal because they were having technical difficulties in the kitchen. I tried to pay with the tabletop credit card unit but the manager Jason never took the late item off the bill. I activated the call server button on the unit and waited another eight minutes for attention. There were two other credit card units forlornly blinking for attention with mine. As we left through the patio exit, the outdoor seating was empty and more than half of those tables were covered with the remnants of meals. Truly disgusting. Needs a corporate visit ASAP.

Horrible service. A full restaurant and there are only 3 servers for all. How does a hamburger take more the 45 min to make??? Plus when you are lucky to get the waitress she has an attitude. ***Edit - Update *** We went there again for a second try, and to our surprise things had changed tremendously. The waitress Jax was amazing, very friendly and very responsive. Quick and very attentive to our needs. We even struck up a conversation about her name and rings. Lol. The food was also improved. The hamburger was juicy, and very tasty. It arrived with a very acceptable wait time. Jax kept updating us with the status of the other as we waited and took care of our drinks and needs. Good change. Well be back again. Lets hope things stay the same.
