Grown has this quote on their company website..."A negative mindset, will not lead to positive results”. Unfortunately, that was my experience tonight. After placing my order for 2 brisket salads and a side of chicken breast I stand patiently waiting for my food. After receiving only one brisket salad and a side of chicken breast, I ask Glen if I could please have my second salad. He looks at me in front of everyone and accuses me of already taking the salad. I was in complete utter shock. This was not my first time, and knowing that possibly he was confused, I pulled my receipts and showed him that I paid for them and proceeded to take him outside where the kids were, to show him that I never received the items. Glen still continued to accuse me of taking the salad, I could not believe it, It was completely embarrassing. Grown unfortunately does not have a system in place that works in order to get your food on time and in an orderly manner. Im not sure who Glen is, but you cannot accuse customers of receiving orders, if you cannot keep track. The error started at the register and continued until I waited for my food. You are compromising your service by hiring individuals that are disrespectful. I paid $44.94 for 2 brisket salads and a side of chicken breast and was humiliated and embarrassed. Grown needs to improve on their quality of customer service, its not cheap and therefore should have the best quality of service combined with their food. Keep your vision positive!

I was really excited for the opening of Ray and Shannon Allens new restaurant "Grown". They offer organic/healthy meals without a long wait, and they certainly deliver! Ive been about 10 times now and it is almost perfectly consistent. I usually get the salmon, which is a good portion and ready to go in 5-10 minutes. Considering the speed, I have been quite impressed that its been perfectly cooked almost every time. There are many sides to choose from and they are fresh and delicious every time. I usually pick up through the drive through, which is a great convenience for high quality food. When I do go inside, Im impressed by the cleanliness and the homely design. You can tell they put a lot of care into it. Now, the prices might feel a bit steep if you let this all fool you into thinking youre at a fast food joint. My salmon dinner is $17+tax. However, if you take into account the high quality meal youre getting and compare it to a restaurant, $17 is actually not that bad at all. Overall Grown is one of my favorite new places in Miami and I look forward to eating there for a long time!

Overpriced! I was super excited for this new option but it disappointed big time! I order everyday from their competitors and was eagerly anticipating another option. The basic chicken sandwich is 17 dollars with no sides drink or extras my wifes turkey was another 17. With tax 36 dollars for two sandwhiches and nothing else. I thought OK these will blow my mind! But they did not they where good but not justifiable at this price point. Their pricing is totally crazy! Too bad because I would have gone there almost everyday for the drive thru and now I will never go there again........(sobbing).........

Delicious food. Great vibe and ambience. Interesting menu, a little pricey. This makes sense as the niche is healthy fast-casual - including juicing (centrifugal). The food was excellent, well prepared and delicious! The one knock was that the salmon buger was impossible to keep together, so messy. However it tasted so good that I would not change a thing. A choice of complimentary waters: draft beer style Vero water - still and sparking; and 2 infused waters, ginger/lime and pineapple/strawberry -- very nice touch. I love the concept, and am sure that this will do great.

Food was ok, nothing too spectacular and WAY over priced. I had the Capri Sandwich on a baguette with the rotisserie chicken. Too much balsamic and the pesto was just average. The "fresh" mozzarella was a paper thin rectangular slice of processed mozzarella, not the slice of a REAL ball of mozzarella I expected. Chicken was dry and had less flavor than a store bought chicken you can get at any supermarket. All in all, this $19 sandwich was nowhere near that good.

I really like the salmon entree and the portion sizes were filling, but the prices are too damn high ($18 for a lunch with 2 sides, not including a drink) and the complimentary water (filled with fruit like watermelon or vegetables like cucumbers) is in need of cleaning as there was evidence of mold growing towards the bottom. The service is friendly enough and there is outdoor seating if you are somehow immune to Floridas summer heat.

Overpriced and mediocre.... Capitalism at its finest. If your willing to pay 20 dollars for a basic chicken sandwich and a small cup of soup, go for it. But I can not for the life of me justify paying that much simply because it has pretty decor, says organic and claims because their ingredients are purchased locally, they feel the right to charge a ridiculous amount for the basics. Oh and that sandwich did not even include a drink!

Well, I went in for my usual Love Greens or Carpe Diem at 8:15 today. I was not given any change or a receipt? I always pay cash. To top it off the Love Greens was about 3/4 full; and that foamy layer, well it sat on the bottom unable for the straw to get it. On two recent, previous visits the employee fished the change out of the tip jar... Most unprofessional and not the experience Ray or Shannon would expect from their employees.

Grown is a great concept: healthy, organic food cooked for either someone on the go or for a nice sit-down meal. At a glance the menu is great and has a wide array of healthy options. The cons: Too expensive, not cooked fast enough, and the flavors fall short of the price youre paying. The hours for breakfast are also not convenient as they open too late to get something before work.

After having to call five times just to get someone to answer the phone my disappointment continued. I was excited at the promise of an organic fast-food type place near me. After asking what the vegan options were I was explained the general layout of the menu. There are only portobello mushrooms as a meat substitute. This is not a place Id recommend to other non meat eaters.

We gave this place two chances... Well, no more!! We odered avocado toast the other day. The amount of avocado was so small, we could see through it down to the barely toasted bread. There were two choices of bread, but we couldnt select baguette even though it was available for other dishes. Oh, and we could only taste the bread, not the avocado . Were done with Grown.

Came here specifically for an Acai bowl. I knew it was $12 but figured id still try it because maybe it would be amaZing. When i got the bowl i couldnt believe how small it was. If it was $5 id be happy but the price point added to the disappointment. Had to go get lunch after because that was not filling at all.
