We have been coming here a few times. Seriously each time we experience good and bad. We always have to ask for the bill even after dishes were taking away and server was told we were done. There is always a fly or two flying arround. Staff is a 50/50, today we had the wrost initial encounter with waitor. His lisinting skills were not to par causing uneasiness, plus he became rude with his response. Dont know if waitor is new, we never seen him before, but he can use people skills and waitrising etiquette. Pricing is excellent for the food. Atmosphere is very clean, I did not care for the type of music, there are better options both English and Spanish. For breakfast we have tried requesting a breakfast sandwich on cuban bread toast, which is extremely simple to do and was told kitchen cannot change type of bread on menu items so I got stuck eating my sandwich on regular square sliced bread. Meanwhile, we have seen other patrons change the menu items with NO problem. Please note; there are only 2 items for breakfast.. how hard is it. We came to the conclusion, either manager did not want to do it, or maybe did not know how to write it or even worse.. they have a cook that is picky and manager is afraid of cook.

Food was okay but the service was horrible. I have no idea if it was the manager attending us, he was wearing a black shirt but wow he was ridiculous. He disappeared and as our food was sitting there ready for us to eat(we waited an hour) no one would bring it to us. I had to look at what looked like the only person working (everyone around her was either on their cellphone or counting money with purse in hand) with a very upsetting face for her to realize we where waiting for the food. This place use to be amazing I have no idea what happened but I wont be coming back. Felt bad for the waitress that finished up with us, I think she was the only one scheduled. Ridiclous.

It was my first frita experience so maybe my expectations were wrong. But the patty was not juicy and rather dry. The toppings were really good though. I ordered the Caballo which came with a fried egg. Also tried the pan con bistec with an omelette sandwiched in between. The omelette was delicious but I couldnt really taste the bistec. The service here is really good.

One of the best fritas in Miami. If you are a gringo and dont know what a frita is its like a hamburger, except the meat is mixed with spices and tomatoeish flavour, more like a meatloaf sandwich that is between two pieces of bread and some shoestring fries. If you have never had one, I would highly highly recommend getting one from El rey De Las Fritas.

Its definitely not in the best neighborhood, but most delicious food comes from neighborhoods that arent too high class. The food is amazing, and the prices are low. I will be here fairly often over the next few years. The star deduction was for pretty slow service. It wasnt that busy, and our waitress took a break while we were waiting for our check.

I have been eating at Las Fritas for over 20 years. This is my HAPPY PLACE. Ademas de el Versailles and la Caretta, este restaurante es maravilloso.

This place is worth the trip to Little Havana. We went for the special Fritas, basically sliced sausage on a bun with cheese and crunchy shoestring potatoes on top. The language barrier isnt much of a problem you can just point to what you want if necessary. I think the Frita was around like 5 bucks and one will fill up just about anyone.

Horrible. Hight crime area. Overpriced except for the sandwiches. Waited about an hour for a plate of Churrasco, the meat was like what they used to gave you at the school cafeteria The coffee..looks and tasted like a milk skate. The waiter said"thats how the machine does it"

Short trip to Little Havana- this is slightly away from the main touristy places in a small strip mall. Very nice people, good service, great prices. I had a Cubano sandwich with a side of sweet plantains and a coffee. All very good for under $10. I highly recommend.

Update: I went again a few months ago and was let down. The fritas didnt taste as good and the fried papita sticks, whatever they are called, tasted stale. It was a huge let down. Havent been back since. 2 stars --- Had two fritas with a guarapo. It blew my mind.

Very good food & customer service. The vaca frita was good, but Ive had better. Everything on my plate, rice, beens, tostones, ensalada was fresh and cooked well. Tostones were amazing, light and crispy. Id have to try the Cuban buyers the next time Im in the area.
