When you walk into this restaurant, it seems fine initially. I have been here a few times. The waiters are kind of rude and lazy. We vacation in south Florida a lot. We have a second home here. My wife though came in here on her own and had a terrible time. The manager - a little Italian guy with a bad temper and thick accent - was calling these women at the bar names. He was very sexist. He looked over at my wife and tried to engage her as well. She was sitting at the bar. My wife said nothing and did not laugh when he kept calling those women names. Then he walked right up to her and started calling her all kinds of names. She was waiting for her bill as she had already eaten. It was a Native American guy with long hair at the bar. The little bad tempered Italian guy started calling that guy names as well and compared my wife to him. She again said nothing but looked over at the bar guy. He looked downtrodden like he takes this kind of crap every day and did nothing. Finally her bill came and she paid it and got up to leave. The little Italian guy kept calling insults as she did not respond to anything but smiled at the guy at the bar and said I Hope you get a better job and left. We have not been since that time. The food is okay, it is not great but it is inexpensive and they have nice little appetisers. Theres also a decent wine selection and a half naked woman sitting in a chair that goes up and down to take wine bottles off the wall. This manager should be fired. If he owns the business, well then the police should come in because that kind of crazy behaviour should not be tolerated. If I could give no stars, I would. There are also around another 50 restaurants within a 2 minute walk. Further up on Miracle Mile, there are other Italian restaurants too with better food. Some are brand new. Its a lesson I have learned - you dont have to stick around and endure negative people anytime. Our country is so open minded and friendly that this guy can move to the United States and open a business here. That is good fortune. Then he acts so badly without consequence? Well that cannot be so. We have a government, a police and laws. If he wants the benefit of living here, he certainly has to act properly and that means treating people well. Or he can go back to Italy. I am pretty sure the locals there wont stand for it either.

For starters We made reservations at 8:45 and when they walked us our table they wanted to sit us at a high table next to two tables that where over crowded. So we asked if we can be in a less crowded area. The hostess said we would have to wait. I was in disbelief that I had to wait for a table for 3 people. As I scanned the room I quickly counted 9 tables available. 7 inside and 2 outside. The hostess did not even give us an outside option which was nice and quiet. It was 9:05 and I told my boyfriend to ask for a table now because I saw 7 available at least. Once he told the hostess she said hold on let me look for a table. At this point I am very upset. So we get a table, and behind us is a man obnoxiously loud and yelling and screaming unapproriate conversations. And no one in management tried to ask the man to settle down or lower his voice. It was extremely rude and embarrassing because everyone around him where leaving right away. Now our waiter was nice but uninterested in our table. He served us warm water, I ask for a martini and I saw someone walk back and forth with is five times, they did not know what table my martinis was for, finally when I got it and it was warm and the Sprite was mixed with a different syrup and tasted like medicine. Next to us we saw the waiter offer Parmesan cheese, what is Italian food without Parmesan cheese. After I ate my plate of food, we were highly upset, disgusted and had horrible headaches. For a restaurant being in the middle of Miracle Mile with such low class service, airhead hostesses and absolute no management I will never go again. It was embarrassing. I rather go to an Olive Garden than this scummy place again. And to end the night we werent rude, we didnt complain, we did tip out waiter very nicely. That place on its own embarrasses itself. Now we learned our lesson for next time.

We believe and trust the responsibility and commitment of a business, in this particular case they did not comply with what they offered. On April 26th I called for reservations,Party of 6. They offered a Mothers Day Brunch up to 3:00PM for $35.00 - We talked to Roxana, a very courteous lady that not only made the booking for us, but told us about what they were offering for Mothers Day. The "Mother" will be a guest of the Restaurant, only one Mother per table. Before Sunday we called to verify the reservation again and it was reconfirmed by the same person on the same terms. Sundays Brunch was splendid such as was the service and the place, except when we receive the bill and the offer was not honored. We informed the waiter and he called the Manager, who rudely denied there was such an offer. We paid in full, left and will never be back. Dulce M Rosado-Guaty and family.

Cibo is one of my favorite Italian restaurants in Miami for a variety of reasons. Ill start off by saying that the food is delicious and consistent, even if there are better places if were strictly talking about food. Its the other factors that make me a big fan: 1) the atmosphere is upscale but cozy and friendly 2) its often busy but never difficult to get a table 3) because of these reasons, you can basically go any time without worrying about making plans. It feels trendy and hip but isnt at all snobby. One of the guys running the place, Tulio, is about as friendly as anyone Ive ever met in the restaurant business and always makes us feel welcome and comfortable. They have a few large private dining rooms if you want to do an event there...in fact, I had my proposal/engagement party in their large room and was perfectly happy with how that went :)

Terrible experience, we went there like 2 weeks ago for my Companys Christmas Party Event. First the coordinator she took the wrong information about the amount of people and she tried to charge us almost double of the initial amount agreed. Then the manager "Tulio" went to the private room and he offered free drinks to everybody, drinks that were not included in our package, like baileys and others. At the end of the evening they wanted to charge us for everything, after been told by Tulio that drinks went on him. That man is not a professional at all, the company is not bad,but these kind of "professionals" make it seams like a gambling place...FREE DRINKS EVERYBODY!!!...HERE IS THE BILL!!!
