Food was good. Service not so much. Upon having a seat at the bar and waiting 10 minutes, the bartender still never acknowledged my presence. He was too busy talking to an older couple that was merely six seats away around the corner of the bar. I went back to the hostess station and asked for a table. Was seated and waited a few minutes and someone came and took my drink and food order. When the burger came out after asking for no onions lettuce or tomatoes, I get a burger dripping with fried onion rings and lo and behold tomatoes, onions, and a healthy amount of lettuce. The whole interaction with the wait staff was very limited, although several servers had no problem sitting down and talking at length with a few gentlemen who were in the mid 40s whilst I waited seated at a table of one. The hostess seem to be the most hospitable person in the establishment and from my observations also the hardest working. If you are aiming to be the English version of a Hooters, it might behoove you to talk to the person who is sitting by himself and not fighting for the attention of several middle-aged men if you are looking for tips. At the same time five gentlemen who have already finished their meals are less deserving of attention than the person who is sitting by himself waiting to order. My recommendation is go there for the food but in a large group of people and have a good time irrespective of the wait staff.

The waitress was very attentive and made sure that we had everything that we needed. Our drinks were filled before we had to ask and the food came out at the appropriate length of time after the appetizer. Everything was cooked nicely as well. We also didnt need to wait long to get the check. This was all positive, as we arrived just after 9pm. On the flip side, the food was Ok, but not special. We got a sampler platter for our appetizer. The TK sauce was great over the boneless chicken. The Pub Pretzels were nice and soft with a great cheese sauce. However, the fried pickle chips left much to be desired, we each had a bite and left the rest on the platter. For an Irish Pub, they only had 6 things that could possibly be considered Irish. The Shepherds Pie was basically a hamburger stew poured over a bed of mashed potatoes. The Salmon wasnt very flaky, but tasted alright. The Burger was great though. Overall, our experience was good, but we probably wont go back as there are other restaurants that appeal to us more. If you like a restaurant that is like Hooters, but with an Irish twist, then this is the place to go.

Its a work in progress...I hope. The shepherds pie tasted precooked-prepacked like that of Campbells Beef stew. Pretty damn salty. Not to mention it was semi-warm room temp, just adding to my suspicion. My father didnt like his burger, but we ate. The waitress we alright, other than the fact that all she did was take our order, then went to play games with the security and chat. She should have been more chatty with the customer. Us. My father debated leaving a tip, but we understand shes working for it. The manager should really work on the waitresses on being a bit more connect with the customer, and the head chef needs to get his act together. Need I remind you we went when it was empty, so it was super crucial to peek our interest to come back again. Food: Meh. :/ Customer service: Uhhh... You mean the robot with breasts? Restaurant cleanliness: Pretty decent Overall: Get your act together! Id rather go to McDonalds tbh.

Im assuming this is not a family restaurant. My husband, son, and 2 grandchildren visited the Tilted Kilt in Robinson and when we were seated, we asked for a highchair for our 1 year old grandson. They said they only had one highchair which was in use and would bring it over to us when the other people were done with it. We then thought we could try a booster chair and they said they did not have any booster seats. Needless to say, we had to leave since its very difficult trying to hold a one year old while eating dinner. Ive never been to a restaurant that only had one highchair and zero booster seats. I went on Tilted Kilts website and emailed them my concerns and never heard a response. I thought I would get a returned email but since I didnt, we will not be returning to this restaurant. First time experience not a very good one.

Dont drink the iced tea. As a former employee there I took it upon myself to clean the tea urns because...well because every other restaurant Ive worked at thats what we were supposed to do. Upon breaking them apart I found mold growing all over the nozzles! (I still have photos to prove it) I asked the manager on duty, who I will be kind enough not to name, if we had any bleach to soak them in. He/she said no. How TF do you run a restaurant and not have bleach to properly sanitize things? I ended up soaking them in hot water and physically scrub the mold off with my hands using a dish towel. This happened back in January and I had left them in early March. Not sure if any of the girls who currently work there give a damn like I did. So think about that the next time you dine there.

I havent been here yet, But I want to try to cancel out Tina Bollands review a little. If google gets around to removing her review, please remove mine too, and I will post a real one next week. She said her review was for a Robinson location, not this location. So this poor restaurant got another stores one star review because she doesnt know how to put her reviews under the correct locations. Businesses vary from location to location, thats why you can leave a review for each different tilted kilt you visit. You shouldnt go around writing words on your post like "I assume" and "this happened at another location". please remove her post. It is off topic for this location and does not belong here.

Just ate for the third or fourth time at the kilt in Robinson, PA. Food was mediocre and luke warm. Sandwich resembled how a Big Mac is thrown together. Most of the meat, cheese and gr. peppers was in the basket. Took what seemed like forever to get a drink. Second one even longer. When our food was finally brought out by someone other than our server, they carried it around nearly the entire establishment before getting it to us. Weve never minded paying the price (even overpriced) for good food and reasonably prompt service. Youll find neither of those here. Tired of being quiet and letting these experiences slide. I doubt well ever go back.

My wife and I stopped there. Initially they seated us right next to the door on a cold night. When we asked, they did move us. I had a steak salad that was good, but had to ask for more dressing (they charged me for it). Wife had corn beef and cabbage, both were badly undercooked. Cabbage was still semi-crisp, corn beef was very tough, not very edible. They only have one desert - brownie or cookie with a small scoop of ice cream on it for $6. we werent impressed.
