This is the worst publix in brevard county, if not the whole state of florida. This is the only publix that closes early... at 9 pm. I have the unfortunate pleasure of shopping here everyday. It is the smallest publix, so of course this means less variety for you and me, and it also means that they run out of simple items very fast. I have had many problems with the deli, and the deli manager is a VERY rude lady that does not care about customers. One day I ordered a large popcorn chicken and she gave it to me half full. I asked her why it was only half full, and she said that she sells it by weight and that it was the proper weight for a large popcorn chicken. When I went to check out, the cashier immediately noticed that it was light and just gave it to me for free because she could not believe that the deli manager did that. Every publix I go to has always filled the container up to the top. Another time, I got two of the same subs, and one had twice the amount of meat on it. I brought them back and spoke with the customer service manager up front. He went and weighed them out and he said that the one with more meat was wrong and that I should have just kept it because I got lucky. He was willing to make me new subs, as long as I paid for them of course. I can not believe that this man is a customer service manager because he made me feel like I did something wrong and he definitely did not handle the situation up to the high standards I know that pubix is known for. If you really want to see how horrible this publix is, just go take a look at their always browning meats and their rotting fruits and vegetables ( which again because they are so small, there is not a good selection of ). You would think that because they are so small that it would be easy to keep this store clean and the foods fresh. Most cashiers are very friendly and you can tell why they have been around for so long. However, the entire management staff in each department should be fired and replaced with people who care about their job and customers. As for the security personnel, they fill their carts up with a bunch of the same items and they only follow the regular customers around (see other review). I love to shop at publix, but this one makes me want to do all my shopping at walmart... and I HATE walmart.

Easily the smallest Publix Ive ever been to and the worst customer service Ive ever experienced as well, which came from the deli department. I placed an online order for a specialty sandwich, which I admit, isnt on the traditional menu. Ive ordered this sub at several other publix locations without an issue whatsoever. When I arrived to pick up my sub 35 minutes later(5 minutes after the scheduled pickup time), I was told they didnt have the ingredients to make the sub. They may not have had the ingredients behind the counter, but they were certainly in close proximity to the deli. Some lady said the sandwich was a headquarter sandwich like Im supposed to know what that means. At the very least, a phone call or email stating my order could not be created as desired would be professional and a good sign of decent customer service. Instead, I wasted 30 minutes of my lunch and had to settle for fast food. Needless to say, I wont be returning to this publix.

I have to say by far the best experience came from this Publix yesterday when I had arrived at the bakery to pick up my stepsons 9th bday cake. I had ordered a small 9in cake that was to be minion colors (blue, black, yellow and white). Unfortunately when i received the cake it was decorated in orange, blue and white. Panic set in as I was already late to get home to the party. The gentleman working in the bakery immediately got to work attemtping to correct the icing colors when Marie, the bakery manager, walked up and saw me standing there. She asked if there was anything wrong and I explained the problem. Without hesitation she jumped behind the counter and assisted in making the best cake for our son. I have to say she went above and beyond to correct the problem and was so incredibly kind and apologetic for the inconvenience. Marie, thank you from the bottom of my heart!!!!

It is smaller and older than many other Publix stores. I have not had any bad experiences with any Publix staff in any of their locations. Because of its central Melbourne location, however, it is usually crowded and lunch time at the deli is virtually unusable as many of the local offices "call in" orders for subs and such making it almost impossible if you only have 30 minutes for lunch. Expect a 10 to 15 minute wait for a sub. But that is understandable because the food is so much better than the many surrounding fast food locations. Overall, I think they do a good job with what they have. Its like trying to put 500 people in a 250 seat auditorium, though. The store could definitely use an expansion.

This Publix sucks!!! The Deli department is so rude, one of the many reason why I will never return. I normally shop at the one in Bayside but, this one is close to my job. When I say there is not a time I have went into this location and was satisfied. The Black pregnant girl, who I think manaer is very rude does not have good customer service skills. they never acknowledge you when you walk, leave you standing for forever. then you have to say something to them to be acknowledge. HATEs store will never spend any of my money here in LIFE.

The service was great and friendly. I ordered the flatbread pizza and it was the 2nd time I had done so. The first time I wasnt impressed so I tjought Id give it another try. Still the same. Basically it was not cooked enough. I think it should be a little more crispy. Ill order it again sometime and ask them to make it crisper. Also both times the team member hasnt done flat bread pizza. Maybe a little training is due or closer supervision.

Ugh! Ive been to so many publix stores and rave to everyone out of Florida how great they are until this location. Most basic products are more expensive then other locations and service from the deli, sub station, and cashiers take absurbly long times. Again .. I love all other publix, friendly service and efficiency but unfortunately on more than 4 occasion and discussing with other locals I hope they can figure this out and step up!

Today I went to try and pick up some western union money. One employee went above and beyond to help me. They did not have enough cash available to give me so this young man made a phone call to another Publix to make sure they had enough to give me and had them hold it so I wouldnt have to go on a wild goose chase to get my money. I believe his name tag said Amal. He was so nice and helpful. He surely deserves a big raise!

What can I say? I love Publix! It has all your grocery needs. They have organic stuff as well as cheap stuff. They have the whole gambit You do still have to check eggs and veggies when you buy them but thats normal. The entrance is in an awkward place and kind of off center but just being OCD here. Clean store and fast service
