I come here all the time. Its usually one of my favorite places to eat. I always come here for my birthday, which the 20th was my birthday. I ordered something different from my usual crepe because it was my birthday. However, something tasted off to me. I didnt even get one bite down and knew there was no way I could eat it. Now I will tell you everything else I have tried, I love! I didnt think it was a big deal that this time I didnt like it. So I ordered a different one. As soon as the chef seen I sent it back he started giving me horrible looks from the window. Mind you I brought my two kids with me for my special day. When I got the bill I noticed the waitress didnt take off the crepe I could not eat. So I politely asked that she fix my ticket. That was a mistake. I had a woman who Im assuming was a manager, ask me if I read the menu. I said I had. She said "Well the menu lists all the ingredients, and this is a top seller, Its perfect! So you will pay for it". I told her I was sorry but I didnt even get a bite down and realized it didnt taste good to me. I said it might be perfect to others and Im sure many people love it, however I am sorry that I did not. Please take it off my bill. She said that Its perfect and everyone loves it and she would take it off this once, but never again. She said "from now on order something you know you like." Then the chef came out and said " Take it off, look at her she obviously needs the money!" I have NEVER been so offended in my entire life! If I needed the money so badly I wouldnt have gone to a place where I wound up paying $24 for the drinks alone! I did nothing to deserve such treatment! I usually come here 4-5 times a month! However, sadly I no longer feel welcome. All due to the fact that the crepe they adamantly told me was perfection, I happened to not enjoy at all! Thank you for ruining my birthday lunch with my two children, and thoroughly embarrassing me in front of the entire restaurant full of people!! I have worked in the restaurant business my whole life and I have never seen anyone treated in such a disrespectful way! Usually if a guest doesnt like something and didnt eat it the food was taken off the bill, no questions asked. Sadly the staff at this establishment likes to embarrass customers instead of giving good service! I must say our waitress was amazing and was quite embarrassed for the way I was treated! Thats why I tipped her so well! I will never forget the horrible way I was treated on my birthday thanks to the staff at this restaurant! Future diners be wary when wanting to try anything new as you will suffer the same treatment as I did!

Some good things and some bad things. The good: The special that day (french toast and bacon) was really good. The portion size was also really good for the price. The not so good: The crepes that we got were the banana chocolate, smores crepe and salmon crepe. My wife an inlaws said the flavor was not as good as in the past. Kind of a let down for them. The beverages are really expensive. If you get a coffee, it is 2.50 per mug for coffee that is "organic". The coffee was just ok for the price. The wait time for your food and drinks is crazy. We waited 25 minutes for drinks and more than an hour for the food. If it was a steak ok but a crepe? Overall: The customer servive needs work and communication needs to improve. A simple "we are behind your food will be ready in 15 minutes" would have been nice. The food flavor is good most time but not always great. Little disappointed as I really liked this place in the past.

This is an excellent place to check out! A little taste of Paris in Melbourne. Whether you are a French food connoisseur or a down-home meat and potatoes kind of guy they have a menu selection that is right for you. My biggest suggestion is to really trust the wait staff... they know the menu, pairings, and proportions. Ask! If you are starving there are some menu items that will not satisfy, but there are definitely others that will! Our waiter has always been Eli and he is friendly and knowledgeable. We rode our bikes and the owner let us keep them on the side of the fence while we ate. Word of warning, though: this place closes down for about a month every year (and are closed now) so that the owners can go on vacation (I think to France?) so always check in advance before making plans!

Overpriced food and poor service. I went here for brunch for the first time a few weeks ago (based on the google reviews) and my experience left much to be desired. The crepe itself wasnt too bad, but for $14 i expect more than 6 cubes of meat to be in the crepe. I most payed for alot of sauce and some veggies. To drink I decided to try a bubble tea milkshake, which came with some chunks of uncrushed ice and the flavoring didnt taste right either. When I told my server about the milkshake, she tells me its supposed to taste like that and walked off. At the very least they should have renade my drink correctly so i wouldnt have to slurp ice chunks, or offered me another beverage. All in all, I would not recommend this place.

This place is the real deal! Eaten crepes in France and this is just as fantastic! Owner is from France. Savory Crepes and Galettes and Sweet Dessert Crepes too! Holy cow! Have a Coronado (egg, Havarti cheese, avocado, salsa, and a tiny bit of sour cream) on buckwheat with lemon & sugar crepe for dessert and youre in heaven!! Would highly recommend. Indoor and outdoor seating. Because they are made to order, plan a slightly longer wait than most restaurants. But worth it. If youre in a hurry, order to go and theyre done in 10 mins! Cant eat here enough!

An excellent choice for unusual dining in the Melbourne area. La Crepe is right in the middle of Downtown Melbourne. Service is excellent. The food; crepes or galettes, is excellent too and a very different change from any place around here. Whether you want savory or sweet, there is always something for anyone. In addition you can add a bubble tea to your meal for an added bit of enjoyment.

Ive been here before for dessert after eating nearby for dinner and loved it. Today my wife and I came back for dinner. Absolutely delicious. We both had the Spicy Masala buckwheat crêpe and then split the Strawberry Treat crêpe for dessert. Service was excellent again and although we live in Orlando, the drive over to Melbournes historic district is worth it especially with food like this.

Just ate their this past weekend with a friend and the food was delicious!! I am a vegetarian and sometimes it is hard to find options with it being Florida and menus dedicating everything to fish. We split the Superfood Salad as well as the Spiced Apple and Love em Berries. Heaven!!! Cant wait to go back and take my husband....plus I am ready for at least three more crepes.
