After a long day I wanted to treat my daughter to a nice dinner. We both love French food and crepes so I researched reviews and found this place. After confirming the hours we made the specific trip to come here and arrived at 8:30. The hours stated on here and their door said they were open until 10. When we walked in there was a group eating, otherwise it looked empty. The hostess saw us, started walking towards us, and then turned on her heel and ran off leaving us standing there awkwardly. I was about to seat myself when she came back and abruptly told us that they were closed. The open door seemed to beg to differ. She then bum rushed us out before I could even express my disappointment. I cant comment on the food since they refused to serve me. The proper way to handle this would have been to lock the door and post a sign stating the establishment was closed for a private party. In that case they would have merely lost customers. The bad review is for the rude way I felt we were treated. I certainly did not feel welcomed into their home. I was left feeling like I had done something wrong for wanting to be a customer. There is a great casual French place serving amazing crepes on Federal Highway called La Crepe in Ft. Lauderdale. Sage further south on Federal Hwy also serves outstanding French food. Needless to say I wont be back here.

My experience at La Creperie last night has left an imprint on my brain. This restaurant provided me with royal service. In a time where everyone feels as if customer service no longer exists, I felt as if the employees went above and beyond. Genuine service from a wonderful family owned restaurant. The food was excellent prepared fresh with the best French flavors. If you decide to go, prepare to be pampered and be there for at least two hours. The food is served in a timely manner that allows you to savor the flavors and digest before your next entrée come out. With something for everyone, it’s okay to bring the entire family. I can truly say that I will never forget my experience here and plan to go back. So if you’re looking for a taste of France at an affordable price, this is your place. Call make reservations to experience a warm welcomed environment.

A small quaint place, with authentic French decor. If you are looking for traditional flavors, this place is the place for you. If you are looking for more than crepes, this place is the place for you. If you are looking for friendly service, and a visit from the chef … this place is for you. This is not your ordinary cookie cutter restaurant. They take pride in their family restaurant, and satisfaction is what they pride themselves on. If you are wanting to host a small private party, let them know what you have in mind and ask for their back room seating. It is a room for you and your guests to dine, laugh and receive top service.

My favorite place to eat..... ever! Everything has always been great. ... the food, atmosphere, greeting, and service is impeccable. My mother in law was French from a town Southwest of Paris and she loved this place. I take friends here for dinner or dessert, and they are always blown away. My wife and I go and have a 3hr dinner easily and then we HAVE to take a couple of napoleons home because we are so full and we have to have the napoleon (I would die without it. ... so dont take the last one. ...please). And these (zagat) users that say "small portions", "bad service", "not french", dont know what they are talking about.

We visited La Creperie quite a few times, everytime, we were treated to some great French food. The chef is an authentic French chef,my fiancee and I probably sampled most of the dishes offered on the menu, and we loved all the choices.offered .Atmosphere there is very quaint, servers are very friendly and attentive. The light is low enough for encourage romantic conversation. We just sampled the Thursday Special meal, (it includes a whole bottle of wine!), It is a great French meal at a great price. We highly recommend La CREPERIE. You owe it to yourself and your family members to visit and enjoy La Creperie French restaurant.

We went there for more than 10 years and we were always happy. But this year on New Years eve we were completely dissatisfied. The food was as always but the service was pathetic. The server natalie was not even asking for drinks, she immediately started with the order of food. We had to ask separately to get drinks. During the meal Natalie ignored us completely. We were sitting for more than half an hour in front of our empty glasses, nobody asked us if we wanted another wine or beer. We will not go there anymore. If one does not show any respect for the customer I can spent my money somewhere else.

My husband ordered a crêpe from there online before and called to make sure that I didnt get some fruits that it came with. He also wrote it in the comments section when ordering it. When I got there, it still wasnt ready. I sat and waited. Eventually, I asked to look inside the crêpes to make sure it was done right. It had the fruits. I politely asked the staff if they could re-make it without the fruits, as we specified. They told me they already made it and wouldnt make it again. Never going back there again. Worst food service I have ever received. Highly disappointed.

Not sure if you have seen the movie Ratatouille, however, this place captures that sort of charm. We had the special crepes of the day and when I bit into the Ratatouille it took me to that special place, like in the movie, besides them being completely amazing. Once we were done we had to go for the Wildberry Crepe, and by God that was one of the best desserts I ever had. Highly recommend this wonderful French location in South Florida.

I feel like I stopped for dinner in a casual, delicious Paris cafe. The atmosphere is very relaxed. The service is excellent - all while speaking in French if you like! The salad was very fresh with subtle, yet lovely flavor. The escargots crepe was delicious! Lots of large snails and spinach and cheese, with just the right balance of garlic. Ill be back as soon as I can!

This place has delicious French food. Went for their Thursday night prix fixe menu special for two, it even includes a bottle of wine. We had country pate, escargot, fish, duck in a Bing cherry sauce, cheese plate, and for dessert Napoleon, chocolate mousse, and creme brulee. Everything was delicious!
