Kevin and Geraldine To be sure that you spoke about our restaurant, (or may be you just need help to remind what you had....) we put a picture of your bill and receipt online. As you can see, you came here yesterday night (we were Friday night and not Saturday). As we explained you, due to the hurricane Matthew, we had to cut our deep fryer and unfortunately, we were unable to re start it when we re open on Friday morning. So instead of fresh fries, four of you had a plate of potatoes cooked in the duck fat since we have the superb potatoes from Idaho. You drank 2 bottles of Aqua panna 1L and a small one (eau minerale on your bill) and for desserts two of you ordered the crepes suzette (2 on your bill) and 2 chocolates souffles (on your bill as well) We are very confused because you do not remember what you ate and you drank but you remember paying for the bread and ustensils !! Could you please tell me where you saw a charge for them? $ 8,50 was the Tarte aux legumes that you ordered as appetizer (sorry for not remind you earlier that you ordered two appetizers....as well..) We do not know what is your interest to write these false reviews - All reviews are important for us but just when they are constructive and justified. Marie from le Café Français

My friend and I kept saying that we were going to try this restaurant and finally got around to going this evening. Truly a gem! Not only was the food superb, but the milieu was relaxing and family-oriented. Despite being a Tuesday evening, there was a steady stream of customers. This is a genuine French restaurant...not a wannabe...the owner is the chef and his wife and son amicably wait on customers. In true Euro style, they dont rush you out as soon as you finish your meal. Will definitely go back, and would definitely recommend this restaurant to both year-round residents and visitors.

Four of us, two couples went for what we thought would be a pleasant experirnce. We ordered the most expensive items, they did not have potatoes, were out of bottled water, charged us $8.50 for bread, the beef fillet was so tough we coul not eat it. They were also out of desert crepes. The place was not busy, the ordeal took 2 and a half hours, they offered no consideration, they didnt care about our experience. McDonalds would have been faster, better and $200 cheaper. Dont go.

My wife and I are always looking for locally owned restaurants and this one is a gem. The owners moved here from Paris seven months ago and just opened their restaurant. We went for a Sunday morning breakfast. DELICIOUS! My ham and potato omelet was PERFECT and my wifes Croque Monsieur was delicious as well. Well be returning in the near future for dinner. Did I mention that the owners are extremely friendly and welcoming. Great place! A slice of Paris in Davie, FL.

Either racist or highly selective on who they serve. I look white European and my fiancée is black American, we waited 40 minutes without water, bread or any type of basic service while tables that came in after us were fully served. Maybe this intentional behavior explains why the reviews for this restaurant are either 1 or 5 stars. They know for sure how to prevent certain clientele from returning. We got up and left.

What a gem! Le Café Français is our new favorite bistro. We love the exquisite cuisine; more importantly, everything is made fresh. As for the service, its beyond exceptional, it is impeccable. We cannot say enough about this charmant petit café. We urge all of our friends to come experience the food and chaleureuse atmosphere. Its cozy, private and the owners are delightful. Check it out, you will not be disappointed.

A real gem in our neighborhood, finally! The food was perfect, homemade, tasty, prepared to perfection. The dessert was also made right there ( we had the meringe with ice cream). They also serve the freshest fresh homemade bread. The cafe looks very very nice inside. Have to give 5 stars to the owners, too: the husband is the chief, and his wife and son were taking care of our table. Very nice, friendly people

French onion soup had no flavor. escargot had no flavor. Steak special with fries was not cooked properly. 2 of us ordered it med rear and one came out well and the other was medium. It was tough and no flavor. The fettuccine with mushroom sauce had no flavor, even the bearnaise sauce was flavorless. Expensive and terrible service. Once to too much. never again.

I came here for lunch with my father and had an amazing experiance. So good I had another visit with friends for a ladies brunch. The food is phenomenal, the atmosphere is quiet and quaint. The family-run staff is friendly and helpful. We plan to become regular customers and bring in more so their business will thrive. A gem in Davie.

Filet was inedible. Very tough Filet. They charged us 7 dollars for utensils and bread. The place was empty on Saturday only 2 tables had customers. Took 25 minutes to get appetizer then another 45 minutes to get main. Slow service, poor quality meat. In addition, they ran out of fries, dessert. Dont waste your time and money.

Nice small French Restaurant in this Mall. Their food was Delicious, my wife cheese platter came with a variety of French cheese & bread to taste. My Tuna with vegetables was excellent, been tuna a hard fish to Cook. The only advise is they take time to serve such a delicious French entres, but it is worth the wait.

My husband and I are regulars at Le Cafe and are never disappointed. Have been dining there for about 4-5 months and never a bad experience. I dont understand some of the bad reviews. Is there a malicious competitor? Food and service are both wonderful!

Excellent food and European environment. Served by the french owners. French onion soup is perfect, not loaded with salt like in other places that are not really french. Service is superb! My wife had the duck and the escargo- they were just perfect.

First visit to this beautiful, personal cafe. Ordered vegetarian breakfast bread with fresh spinach, tomato, cheese and egg. Delicious! Coffee was an equally wonderful & flavorful delight. Have fun with the menu, relax & enjoy this food find.

As a french I can tell that is typical and really tasty french restaurant, probably the best one in Miami. The family running the place are very genuine and it is a pleasure eating there!!! I invite people who like french food to try it!!
