Ok so we went there with a 7 top plus a child , and we were sat in less than thirty minutes on a Saturday at 10:30 am . The first sign of trouble was when they came to get us and they sat us outside when we told them inside only . We went ahead and sat outside because we were hungry. In a strange move, our server Barbara waited about 5 min to greet us and brought 3 waters to the table and said here is an assortment of drinks... Only one person wanted a water so it was a waste of time and as someone who has worked in the service industry , I honestly hadnt seen someone do that before . So we all ordered our food and here is the nightmare. One by one , a dish came every 5 min or so. I got the fish hawk , which was pancakes, eggs, bacon, grits, and potatoes. I got my pancakes first... About 4 min later along came my eggs and potatoes... My grits never came until I had to remind my server over 4 times that I was missing them . The same thing happened to my wife and 3 others at the table . Other reviews have stated similar incidents with this place and for some reason they cant seem to handle the amount of people they serve . It was really annoying and ruined breakfast for us when the server has to keep asking us what we are missing... We saw you with a pen and paper, write these things down and get it right . The food was just ok. The potatoes had absolutely no seasoning of any kind on it and was lukewarm . The pancakes were ok but came on a plate that was smaller than the actual pancakes so I was baffled by that . The eggs were cooked over easy when we asked for over medium. I have a pet peeve when I go out because I was a server and have expectations for people that serve me . I had to wait at least 10 min for my drink to be refilled after I told her at least 2 times my drink was empty. Its something so simple and for some reason she couldnt handle it . I get it, they were busy and I have been there , but there is obviously no team work there , and not once did I see a manager or any sort of team work going on . To top it off , you have to go to the front to pay which is fine , and many diners make it seamless , but this place was ridiculous. There was no where to stand and the same small table is used as a hostess stand too so people are coming in , and youre trying to sign your tab but there is really nowhere to go. All in all this place has potential and I welcome a variety of breakfast spots but this place needs to really sit down and listen to its customers . They will fail because of this customer service issue. I wish them the best because I believe in small businesses but we will not be back for awhile.

Food was great; however, the owner, Joel, displayed a glaring lack of professional courtesy. We had a network meeting there the other day with seven people, about a $100 tab. The food was great and the server was great. However, during our meal , one of the gentleman in our networking group had a medical emergency. It was obvious, because he set his phone down on top or his pancakes, and couldnt even tell us his name or communicate. I was relaying information to the server as he was on the phone with emergency dispatch. Joel, the owner, interrupted me during the conversation. He told me I was misinforming the dispatch. Another man in our group pointed out that I was a doctor. Joel, the owner looked me up and down and said, "What are you, a vet?" I just looked at him. He looked at my name tag and said, "Oh, youre a chiropractor; youre not a real doctor." He was insisting that my friend was OK, and declaring that he used to be an EMT and that my friend was fine. Meanwhile, my friend was in serious distress, unable to walk or communicate. The entire restaurant was quiet, probably about 50 people in the restaurant, and rather than trying to help, the owner was interjecting during our 911 phone call. It was completely inappropriate behavior. He was intentionally insulting. I can appreciate vets, chiropractors and medical doctors, and the amount of training and effort it takes to work in any of those fields. To publicly spew derogatory comments about customers in the middle of a crowded restaurant is completely inappropriate, and thats not even considering the fact that he was impeding our attempts to get necessary medical care for our friend (who was,in fact, experiencing a real medical emergency and is currently still in the hospital).

**EDIT** CAME ON 6/5 and it will be our last time. The cooks didnt pay close enough attention to the allergies and brought us bourbon maple bacon instead of the requested regular bacon. The entire plate had to be remade. They brought out burnt home fries 3 times... they did not even offer a simple discount and the manager never even came out. since we cannot trust them woth something as simple as eggs and bacon we will not be back. Bad management. The manager has no idea how to manage a food service place. It was busy on a Thursday morning and they were all running around like they had no idea what they were doing. The food is OK, but you could get better food for less $$ at the egg and I down the street. The only perk is that they have gluten free pancakes they can make with water instead of milk. Also dont trust that they know how to not cross contaminate food if you have a dairy or wheat allergy.

Ive been in three times in the first four days theyve been open. Seeing as theyre the first true sit down breakfast restaurant in FishHawk, I first came with some of my staff and had a great experience. The next day I went with my wife to have some quiet brunch while our older kids were at school. This morning I came in for a bite and some coffee before heading into work. Every time their staff has been courteous, responsive, and quick to do everything they can to make me happy. However, beyond that, since I own my own business I also watch how they interact with others. At every table theyve made a consistently good effort to make the diners in their restaurant happy. With a love of the customer at the forefront, beautiful, clean interior, courteous and friendly service, and tasty food it makes for a nice overall experience. Good luck guys!

So today I tried the Scrambled Egg. The experience started off promising. The waitress was nice and knowledgeable and we got seated right away. The menu also looked good with a lot of great options. The food came out quickly and was hot which was great. The french toast was absolutely delicious as well. These were all the positive things. The negatives. My meal only came with one slice of french toast which was a little disappointing for a $10 meal. The hashbrown casserole was extremely disappointing as it was very bland and tasteless. To me it was also a little pricey given the small portions compared to many other brunch locations in the area. Unfortunately we will probably not return as there are so many other great places to go to for brunch in the area like for example Brunchery, this place I highly recommend.
