I couldnt make this up. I came on here initially a few hours ago to find the phone number to make a to go order. I was going to review it then but I got side-tracked. A few hours passed, my husband calls me saying that they gave him the wrong pizza but he was almost late getting back to work so he just ate it. He asked me to call and inquire about the order. Ordered chicken ranch, got buffalo somehow ( which I didnt even know they had.) Ive only been there a handful of times, its far out the way. I called to explain it to the manager and she sat there with what seems like minutes of dead awkward silence as if she was new to customer service or as if this mistake was going to come directly out of her paycheck. She was unbelievably rude, which I couldnt understand because I wasnt. She told me that the cashier rang it in as a buffalo pizza, I told her my husband doesnt like spicy food and that I didnt even know they had buffalo. We have only ordered three things ever from there, I dont even know what the menu looks like, we ordered from pure recommendation. The pizza is excellent and fresh but Im sitting here battling if I will just continue to eat sub par pizza on my side of town rather than ever patronize this place again for insinuating that I would call out the blue for a free pizza when I am not even sure the next time Ill be near the place to even use the credit. I am LIVID. Moral of the story...handle your ppl with care because a glowing review can turn into a scathing one very very quickly. I have learned to never disregard negative reviews again.

Will never return here no matter how much I love the strawberry salad. I will find a way to create it at home. The service is absolutely horrible. So embarrassed that I brought my family from out of town to this place. I USED to be a regular until they gave me the worst service of my life! My sister-in-law ordered the deep dish pizza and took one bite and was grossed out. It has a VERY thick layer of sauce and bad sauce to top it off. She explained to the server that she didnt like it and the servers response was "Are you sure? Everyone else loves it. You should give it a chance." She then walked away. So rude! She already said she didnt like it. What else did she want? Anyway, we got the bill and the pizza was still on there so we asked for a manager three times and each time got the run around. They finally told us that its not their fault that she didnt like the pizza and refused to remove the pizza from the bill. I was seriously mortified. I have never been so embarrassed in my life. Its not like we are people that try to get free food. Our entire bill for the table was over $150. I will NEVER return and I plan on spreading the word as much as possible. They made a HUGE mistake. I even emailed the owners and got a response saying that they stand by their servers and she even compared the pizza to buying a car saying that if you end up not liking your new car that you cant just get a refund! LOL...These people are a joke. Really?! Comparing a $7 pizza to a car buying experience.

Showed up on a Thursday at around 2 pm, so it was nice and quiet. Grabbed the deep dish basil pesto chicken (something like that, forgot the exact name), zucchini fries, and strawberry walnut salad. All of it was great - no qualms about the food quality and flavors. What I really want to point out though are the zucchini fries and salad. In my experience, good zucchini fries are hard to find - most places have them come out thick cut, unevenly battered, and soft and droopy. Not a good texture. Not so with this place - the fries are evenly coated, and the thin cut gave them the ability to stay straight and crisp. Excellent zucchini fries! And the salad! I guess its just the type of dressing they use, but the strawberry walnut was fruity without being too sweet, and the walnut does come through to help mellow the flavor. I probably shouldnt be so impressed because its just a simple salad, but Ill at least say you neednt be afraid to order one here. Oh, and yes - the pizza is good. Bread/crust wasnt too "dough-y" or burnt, and the chicken and cheese were yummy. Will be back sometime. Update, July 29, 2017: Still great! Very happy the previous great experience wasnt just a one-off. Deep dish pizza still great, and the strawberry walnut is every bit as good as I remember!

Horrible Service, with food to match. This was at the Bloomingdale location on Friday 8/15/2014 The whole plan was to go to Cappys and have a great dinner but they were full. Guess who wasnt? NEVER AGAIN WILL I GO TO OLDE TOWN PIZZERIA!!!! DISREGARD THE "GOOD" REVIEWS THEY HAVE NO CLUE WHAT GOOD FOOD IS. My wife and I ordered a large salad to share, bread & and a thin pizza. The salad should have been thrown out at least two days prior. It was also drowned in Italian dressing. Completely disgusting. The bread seemed as if it was submerged in oil then brought to the table. The pizza kept up with the theme and was also dripping with oil. The food on the whole has no flavor whatsoever. In summary - the food is extremely greasy and tasteless. Thats Italian! eh! -NO As far as service... The waitress we had was a larger girl named Danielle. She never cleared any plates off the table. We were expected to eat our pizza on soiled salad plates. Danielle looked like she may have known that it would be a good idea to bus the table but she was simply too lazy to do her job. I strongly suggest no one waste there time or hard earned money at this poor excuse for a restaurant. This place is worthless and I will be happy when they go under.

First impression upon walking in to pick up my order was not impressive. The entrance is small and unwelcoming. I stood at the counter for a few minutes before a young lady came up greeting me without a smile and simply asked if i was picking up. No friendly hello, nothing. The restaurant itself didnt smell like a place youd find pizza in. Smelled like a big disappointment coming. I paid, and felt the price was a bit high for what i ordered. I got a medium thin crust pepperoni on whole wheat crust. They stated on their website no extra charge for wheat crust but my pizza was $13 and some change after tax. I got it to my car and opened it to check it out and an odd smell came whifting out of the box..didnt smell like the kind of pizza Id ever eaten. It also looked like a frozen totino party pizza. Actually i think those look better. Anyway i took it home and my husband opened it and was like what the hell is that.. we ate a piece and found no sauce..just cheese and wheat bread. Was like eating cheese toast on some sort of soggy wheat cracker. Gross. Wont be back. Wont recommend.

Although i love their strawberry salad all to hell I will NEVER return to this place. It was rather late, my friend from out of town was visiting and we were in the mood for pizza. I talked all highly of this "fantastic" pizza place right down the road so we go there, and were greeted by an older woman who seemed friendly. She asked us if we were dining in and led us to a booth. After we had put in our drink orders she came over and told us that unfortunately they were only doing take out orders. I asked, "dont you close at 10?" She replied saying yes but if theyre slow they close early. I was mortified. We were being asked to leave a table that we had been seated at because the staff couldnt stay a little later to bus one more table. Keep in mind it was around 8:45 when they close at 10 oclock. I work in the restaurant industry and there is no way I would EVER ask a guest to leave because we close early when we arent busy! And i know my manager would never approve of that either. I will never go back there again. How unprofessional
