I must say, great Mexican food. However, the refried beans mixed with rock(s) are just a little hard on my taste palate. Before chomping down on what couldve been a disastrous dental bill, out pops this dime size rock. Yes, you read that right, a legit ROCK. Why?, Where?, from WHAT!? First Ive ever heard of it, but apparently this is a common occurrence; stated the lady on the receiving end of the upset phone call. "They have no way of removing ALL the rocks." Uhhm what? So your saying theyre just there? Leaving LaPalma at a high risk of liability IF someone was to crack a tooth? So, I looked it up: "Yes, dried pinto beans will sometimes come packaged with small pieces of dirt or rock, depending on the source you buy them from. It neednt ruin the taste and it doesnt necessarily indicate poor quality beans." -World Food & Wine HMMM... well, now you know. Since were the lucky ones to find a piece of the holy grail; a free margarita wouldve been a good trade off... just sayin.

Not a very good Experience! I was the on a Sunday with a large group. I ordered a Pina Colada and so did my mother in law. This restaurant serve their Pina Coladas in a pineapple ( which I thought was very cool ) my mother in laws pine apple was leaking through the bottom and we asked our waiter to please change it he did but he brought it back in a regular cup and she ask why didnt he bring it back the way its suppose to come and he got very upset and told her that now she had to wait for it in a very rude manner. Easily forgiven so when our food come out i order the Fajitas combination beef & chicken as hes putting my plate down he says oh theres only one piece of beef on your plate! do you want more? Welllll let me see i am paying for the combination plate WHAT DO YOU THINK? I didnt tell him that but very nice i said yes that would be nice. everyones food was cold and no refills were offered. the food is over rated here. I would definitely not go back.

This review is NOT about the quality of the food. However, at approximately 8:38 pm on a Thursday night, we entered the restaurant to have dinner. We did not believe that there would be a problem, as they close at 9 pm. The hostess told us that the kitchen had already been closed, and that they were NO LONGER serving dinner. This is NOT the first time this has occurred. There were no apologies for the inconvenience, and the staff was indifferent about the situation. We have been eating at this restaurant since its opening, and we will not be returning after this last experience. Our service has also gone down over the last year, but we wanted to continue our support, as we truly enjoyed the food.

Basic food and service. Food quality is fair but underwhelming. Service is spotty. Often if you need anything or something was forgotten, or done wrong, you have to flag someone down because its typically drop off the food and their gone. And dont expect your ice tea, water, or soda to be topped off or even refilled if its empty and sitting on the edge of your table. You have to flag them down for that too. Its too bad because simply paying attention to detail could greatly enhance the guest experience. On a positive note, they do have Karaoke. That helps bring people in but some simple improvements would get them to spend more money than just drinks and the occasional appetizer.....

The food was delicious! I had the lunch serving of the Cajun burrito and it was fantastic. I believe it was possibly the manager who ended up serving us. It was slowish, but we were a large group and we didnt give them much notice that we were coming. The manager, or we think she was a manager or owner, made an inappropriate comment and gave marginal customer service. It was awkward when someone asked what salad dressing options they offered, the manager/server said, "Most Mexican restaurants only have a couple but I make sure there are a lot because Im American." A really weird thing to say, but it was not appropriate. The food is good, however, so still try it.

Dan Carpenter This place SUCKS! My wife and I went there Saturday evening, November 5, 2016, and our server, Zule, was constantly sitting at the bar and texting on her phone. The food was, at best, average, the service awful. When end we left, we paid our check which totaled $34.29 but left no tip. Today we we discovered our credit card was hit for $50.00. Two phone calls to the restaurant, I spoke to Juana Cruz and Rahul have resolved nothing. Weve decided this will become a legal matter. Credit card fraud.

Arrived around 5:45pm on Friday. Was told we needed a reservation when we had NEVER had to have one before. Okay. Wait was well over and hour and the girl at the desk made it clear that she really did not want us to wait. We did. The service was slow (sort of expected with the business). The food, however, was overcooked and dry. Nothing tasted as it had on previous visits. There is not anything that would make me drive the 25 miles again to eat at this truly unworthy place.

Do not eat here. My wife and I took family to eat here after being over seas for a year. The service was marginal. The chips they served was insufficient and had an after taste. All of the chicken was way over cooked. The refried beans tasted like they came from a can. If you want Mexican food, go somewhere else. Oh, and the music was to loud, and they had some weird male stripper show on the entire time.. really hated that part!

Food was good as always, but service was slow. Slow enough to complain to a manager which I hate doing, I honestly do. The waiter was very polite, but still doesnt justify waiting 45 minutes for our food and my sister having to get hers to go because she would be late getting back to work...Which is only across the street.

This was the 3rd time we tried this place. Was sat by someone on the phone. Cook looked out kitchen 4 times like whats up. Noone ever came over after 10min. Was told everyone on break. Only other customer was at bar. Last 2 times was very poor service but I gave them a break because busy. NEVER Again!

I cannot recall better food, more courteous service and pleasant atmosphere in quite a long time. I grew up in the Southwest and I pass compliments to the chef. The food was was not drenched in some tasteless sauce and the chili Relleno would get an A+ in TexMex restaurant west of the Rockies.
