Where oh where do we start? How about at number 1? Number 1: Poor service at best. In a previous review I mentioned a young man (and I use "young" very loosely), who would hold you up if you didnt give him a tip. Recently I patroned the establishment and ordered for my siblings and I, when he got to the car he gave me the food, took the money (which included some pennies), and proceeded to wait. As I handed out the food I noticed he was still waiting, so I asked if we forgot something and he said, "Yeah." He said he had to "feed his 5 kids, and live too". Now I said to myself if you need to feed 5 kids you need a vasectomy and a better job. And drove off I did. The girls aint that great either. Dont tip them and see what happens to ya. Number 2: It is too expensive. To feed 3 people youre going to spend an easy $50. The dollar menu at McDonalds tastes better than half the stuff here. And you have to wait an hour and a half to first get the food. Now the reason I gave it two stars is because I miss Dairy Queen. There isnt one here, so the Blasts are a real blast from the past.

I have had to wait for service at a nice restaurant before. Never ever have I had to wait 15 minutes at a drive-thur to be asked what I would like to eat. Today 08-30-10 I went to our local Sonic in Lake City, Florida I had my two young grandsons with me as I just picked them up from 1 & 2 grade. We pulled in and waited 15 minutes for someone to ask what we wanted. All this time there were maybe 3 other car in the stalls with there meals. I got angry and drove into a stall. I took notice that the two guys were laughing and doing NOTHING. I said I wanted to manager and out walks one of the kids who was laughing. He said that they had problems with there intercom. I told him to put up a sign he told me I was irate and he had the right to tell me to get off the property. All this and no food...yep great service.

This place is terrible!!!! The screwed up the entire order. The tots were undercooked in the chili cheese tots and the two regular ones as well. The fries they replaced them with were undercooked as well. I asked for salt and ketchup, I got a TON of ketchup, no salt. I asked for two number 3s (Super Sonic bacon double cheeseburgers) we were given two dry single bacon cheeseburgers. This is such a disappointment. Where I come from Sonic is a super special treat, everything is AMAZING. This was barely edible, we threw over half of it away. Yuck.

Sonic is the worst fast food place in lake city, U sit in the drive thru for 15 mins then get to the speaker and wait another 5 mins for someone to take your order then u sit n wait on your order for 5-10 mins... There ice cream machine is always down. Especially wen you go for half price after 8..I honestly think they lie BC they dont feel like making them! Corporate needs to know whats going on at that store! They need a whole new crew to run that place BC the ones doing it now obviously dont care abt sonic or the customers!!!

I could not believe I was spoken to the way I was, by an assistant manager no less, who ran his mouth an then ran back inside . He couldnt even stand there and let me reply or continue the conversation. I wasnt even being rude or angry like I could have been, but this guy just decided he would be a prick. He was spouting total bs while not realizing Im not some hick, Im actually someone with two management degrees. This place is not worth the headache. Go on down to McDonalds, BK, Taco Bell, Hardees, *anywhere* else.....

Wait time in drive through was way too long; so long in fact that once they decided to come to my window and ask if I ordered two shakes which was an entirely different order from which I originally placed that I just drove off and a few other cars behind me had pulled off as well not sure if it was just a bad night for them or short handed or if it was just normal for them. The way the other reviews read its the norm. SMH! Reminds me of why its been 5 years since Ive last ate there.

It took 5 minutes before we got any acknowledgement at drive thru speaker. When the did finally answer, it was so loud a deaf person would have been able to hear them. Ordered food then pulled up. Two cars ordered behind me and received their food along with a customer who ordered after us at the walk up menu. I waited 15 minutes and still didnt get my order. I had to leave to pick up my child from school so I left hungry. This was the last straw for me, I wont be back.

They have the same ice cream machine since they opened 15 years ago. Have been there 1 time for a giveaway they were having and was told that the ice cream machine was down, and would take 45 minutes till it was ready. They told us that we could get milkshakes, and they were so soupy. Tried again a couple of times same thing. Just talked to the manager and he said they know about the problem and are trying to fix the 15 year old machine. Glad we have a Dairy Queen!

Used the new menu at drive in area. Menus are nice, like the changing advertisements of menu options. It is also touchscreen. Placed my order, saw the rang up order, but was not asked if order on screen was correct. Received partially wrong order but they did make it right. Would suggest a repeat of order or ask customer to verify that everything is correct before having customer pay.

Ordered 2 numbers 3 with no onion and add mustard and ketchup. Got them both with onion and no mustard or ketchup. Told the car hope and she took them back in side to bring back the same burgers 10 minutes later that some one hand picked all the onions off and I use all very loosely as we thru most of both of them away as they still had onion on both. This place sucks.

We had gotten two slushis were informed that there was going to be a wait for the slushies. We said that was fine and WE WOULD WAIT. Instead they bring us out watered down no flavored slushies and try to tell me that I had stated that we were okay with watered down slushies. Terrible service and manager was rude to boot.

the worst food Ive had the tater tots were nasty the fries tasted like plastic the chilli was nothing but grease something definitely needs to be done with this place the oil they fry the food is is bad and the female restroom smelled so bad and was nasty I will not be going there any more

Do not visit this Sonic unless you have a lot of time to waste and dont mind cold food at the end of that wait. Oh btw service to get just drinks and shakes (4 total) is just as long of a wait. Loved every other sonic I have ever visited (more than 5) just a bad location.
