I have been eating here for over twenty years as we travel to Canada every summer. The food is always quality. It has an old timey dinner feel giving it a fun and unique dinning experience. They offer a delicious perch with shoestring french fries along with a wide variety of other menu items. One of my other favorites is their homemade chicken noodle soup. It is full of veggies, chicken and noodles with delicious flavor. My dad loved they fried chicken livers. It is definitely a unique spot to brag a delicious lunch or dinner.

Very good fried chicken, extremely crispy, hot and fresh. It is a busy restaurant and the seating area is a bit crowded. The restaurant has a cool retro funky interior as well. The bathroom is extremely tiny but its clean. Service is quick and friendly in general. One things that the food quality is not consistent, which is important to me because I drive over an hour to come here.

I grew up in this town eating here all the time, I was a personal friend of the previous owners. The last 5 years or so it has gone down to a very last resort for food. We came to port huron to visit, We stopped in for dinner 7/1/2012, staff was snooty and service was neglectful. my son and myself both got food poisoning, were up all night ill. ruined our trip.

Loved this place until we stopped for a carry out on April 13, 2017, after I had surgery at the local hospital. My husband witnessed the cook rubbing her nose and scratching her crotch area while working. Never once stopping to wash her hands. Turns my stomach even today. Love this place, you can always count on Palms Krystal for a good meal. The broasted chicken is the way to go! I have always had friendly staff and fast service, so Im not sure what happened with the previous reviewers experiences. This is a local landmark and Russ and Martha have kept the tradition alive.

Great food and great service. Ive eaten here a couple of times. 1st time, of course I had the fried chicken. It was excellent. Today I tried the combo liver/gizzard platter. Id never had gizzards before but 3 doubles gave me courage. Wow, they were amazing. So good! Be brave, just try em. ;)

Service was great ..food was excellent.. But the half and half... Was almost all gizzard.. Had three livers!...the price you pay..a slice of bread!..really!!! Cough up some fries...and get off of the livers!..every chicken has one of each..learn how to count!

Rated one of the best hole in the wall restaurants in America. The place hasnt changed in 50 years and thats perfect. The chicken is one of a kind and great. The chicken noodle soup is competition for Moms, for sure! You have to go there at least once!

Have enjoyed this place several times over the last 11 years. Fried chicken is the best Ive ever had! Babyback ribs are to die for! If you are a French onion soup aficionado, I seriously doubt that you can find better, within a 100 miles!

WAY overpriced for what they serve. What do they think they are? A 4-star restaurant? News flash: its chicken. In a basket. Not seafood dinner on the river. Nevermind the bland flavor of pretty much everything except the chicken.

This is the best fried chicken ever. I do not care what anyone else says is the best fried chicken, this will always be my favorite. HOWEVER, they fry the chicken to order so you will wait a bit before its ready.

Let me start off by saying that I recommend anything chicken. I ordered the half and half appetizer. The gizzards and liver were deep fried. It was great! Also got the chicken and waffles. The chicken was great.

The to go staff was excellent!!! They were fast, efficient and most of all, gave helpful suggestions. Inside section, not very attentive. Fried chicken was the BEST! I definately will be back, real soon.
