I really wanted to like this place as it was the most promising place open for lunch at the landing. The service was very friendly. Food came quickly. But I had to pick through some old, slimy greens and powered through curry chicken that hadnt been mixed well and was all salt towards the end because I was so hungry. Bread was good. Bread pudding was amazing. But I couldnt tell you what it was that made me Ill so stay away from all.

Horrible service, they never answer their phones even tho they advertise call in orders, if I call more than once they pick up the phone and hang up without saying a word, food is always done late. My husband and I used to go here almost every day, but Village Bread will not be seeing us anymore.

Food varies between bad and okay. Never answers their phone in the morning. Even hangs up on us most mornings, even 30 minutes past opening time. Sent a message on Facebook one morning, they opened the message and didnt respond. Very poor customer service. Started getting maple street instead.

Food was less than mediocre. It was dirty and needed some desperate remodeling and cleaning. They had no fresh breads to choose from at all. Hostess spent more time on her cell phone than taking care of the place which was sad. Wouldnt recommend. Overpriced. Hope I dont get sick.

Ate there this morning for breakfast and wanted something different. (I work downtown). I had the stuffed French Toast on the menu and i must say YUM! That hit the spot and was so delicious. I found my new spot to hit up from breakfast and even lunch! Amazing place.

Really pathetic. ...not even trying to deliver a quality product total waste of time I would definitely avoid this place at all cost but then again its Jacksonville so maybe its good for Jacksonville but it really sucks... really bad

I was able to enjoy my breakfast in a clean restaurant with a nice atmosphere. I didnt have any problems with there food or service. When I am in the area I will go again.
