First, I was almost bitten by a dog when I was leaving the store. The dog was not on a leash and was there when I entered the store, so Publix employees knew it was there. As I was leaving, the person in front of me accidentally hit it with her shopping cart because it was lying directly in front of the door and as I passed, it growled at me. Second, there were 5 loaves of sliced White Mountain bread that had already been bagged. I asked the clerk for an un-sliced loaf and she checked and all that behind the counter had also been sliced. She said the un-sliced loaves sell much faster than the sliced. So, why slice them? If a customer wants sliced bread, the un-sliced loaf can always be sliced, but you cannot UN-slice bread! Third, I walked up and down every aisle in the store searching for crackers and never found them. I asked one employee where they were and she said she did not know and kept walking. This is also the first Publix I have ever entered that did not have Crackers and Candy listed on one of the overhead signs indicating the items on a particular aisle.

This Publix has a neighborhood market type of feel and so it sets itself apart from a lot of the other Publix in Jacksonville. It is a very small grocery story but it significantly bigger than any other grocery in the Riverside area, all of which seem to cater to the natural foods type of customer. This Publix fits into the Riverside community very well which is saying a lot considering the type of consumer that frequents these parts. Inside, the aisles are packed more closely and dense with items compared to their other locations and they seem to be wise about use of space. The type of items they stock are also more fitting for the consumers of the area - small, gourmet type items rather than larger generic stuff. They have a very good bakery and deli area which has some of the tastiest items your little heart could desire. Parking here is a bit of a hassle and is always busy and chaotic from people shopping in the area around the market.

Great store, great customer service, I was asked 3x if I needed help or assistance with anything in the store. Anyone can sell groceries, and many try, but its the people that make the difference. Publix has always and probably will always be my favorite store. This one is in Jacksonville in the Riverside Avondale area of town. I sent Publix a note as well thanking them for their people and great customer service!

Best Publix in my opinion. Every department is friendly and courteous. The people who work for Publix always seem happy and helpful. I dread going to other stores because I love this Publix so much! If youre really in the mood for some Cajun catfish have the team at the fish counter help you out. With the new Publix order online getting things from the deli is a breeze.

Lots of sweet memz here. All the times on the scale by the door. Then they moved it by the other door and Ive used it there a couple times but not the same as before. Parking sux, lots of strange things to look at here. Really nice deli staff. Really nice staff in general. Sometimes weird in the bathroom, but thats okay. Good stuff.

Wow. The store looks great! Everyone is friendly and helpful. They had warm lunch-type food for sale at 8am. A fellow out front was taking food donations to a food bank. Kelsey was friendly and welcoming at the service desk. A nice place to shop at for your groceries. And they are near a starbucks and close to a park.

The parking here is terrible because the lot is so small and it shares it with a bunch of other shops. Its a Publix, but about 25% smaller than other Publix stores in the area. They carry about the same things. I rather go to the Publix further away just so I dont have to deal with the parking situation.

I ordered a sub online and asked for specific veggies and got all their veggies that they had. It would be nice if for an online order they could read the ticket instead of just throwing everything into my sub as I had no chance to take it back since I opened it after I left the store.

This is a fairly small Publix store. Much less variety due to size. Frequented mostly by singles, hipsters, dinks, and head to toe tattooed individuals. Interesting demographics. Same great service as all the other Publix stores I shop at. Parking issues are a nuisance.

Lewis left a negative comment about Publix. Although he just seems unhappy with himself. Worst petty review i have ever read. I cant believe Publix also doesnt control the weather, diseases, potholes in roads, etc. Get over yourself Lewis. Publix is phenomenal.

One of the smallest Publix supermarkets that I have ever been in but the staff here is by far the best overall. They keep the store immaculately clean and every employee knows exactly where every item is located which add up to making it always a please to shop here.

Consistently pleasurable experience and service here. The deli side of things challenges my patience at times, yet the other areas of the store compensate so well for the mishaps that I am still overly pleased with my experiences at this store. Thanks!

This location is small it is true, but the staff is really helpful. I have not been to a chain grocery store that had such helpful employees. Clean place, parking is really bad too, but it will not deter me from going here.

This location has the very best bakery! The hard rolls, baguettes, and Cuban breads are consistently fresh and crusty. Pastries, muffins, cakes, and pies are always delicious and produced with care and attention. I love it!

Small Publix that covers all the bases. Well stocked shop with all the basics, wine, a pharmacy and more. As a recent transplant from up north I enjoy finding regional foods. Today was Pik-Nik shoestring potatoes.

Constantly placing orders with floral and bakery and have never had any issues. The employees in this store are some of the nicest I have ever come across as a whole in a Publix store in Jacksonville.

This was the 2nd time I had gone to this Publix. The store is small and does not carry the same things as larger Publix. Employees are knowledgeable and professional. The store is too small for me.

I ordered a custom cake at the last minute and they were able to have it done in time. It was beautiful and everyone loved it! The price was outstanding as well. I will never have to bake again!

Parking nightmare...good luck getting in or out without your blood pressure going up! Once your in its great. Being tall helps in this store as 75% of the shelves are 1~2 feet taller than normal.
