Golden Corral is now pet friendly? Yes, it is. We ate there last evening, Feb. 14, 2016, and while eating our dinner, in comes this couple with a dog, in a stroller, breezed right past us to their table. Dont know if it was a service dog or not. Now I understand the necessity of some service dogs. However, it seems that there is no consideration for the people who have severe allergic reactions to animals, of which my husband is one. We avoid pet friendly establishments for that reason, so I guess we will avoid the Inverness Golden Corral too. Aside from the encounter with the dog, our meal was delicious, the prime rib was disappointing, but everything else was superb. For the price you cant beat the quantity. They make every effort to keep the place clean and wipe down all the surfaces.

The Inverness location leaves a lot to be desired. The staff can only work with what theyve been given - not their fault. The food is left under the heat lamps way too long. It was a restaurant in the 80s that families would drive from other counties to dine at - not so anymore. The overhead light fixtures have an inch of dust caked on, the restrooms are always filthy, the baseboards and air vents are black. Close down, clean up, update the menu - the Spring Hill and Ocala locations would be a goal to shoot for - and new clientele would start emerging. Sorry, my son and I kept hoping for the best over the last few years to no avail - disappointed each and every time. A week ago, I dropped close to $40 with 2 buffets, drinks and tip, so not worth it.

We were eating at the Golden Corral in Inverness Florida when we discovered that some people had a fairly large dog under their table. Next thing we knew it got up and did a huge shake as dogs do and hair flew all over. Then the people began to feed it and one thing led to another until the dog had its nose, mouth on the table and the owners continued to feed it directly off the table! My husband spoke to management and he said that animals are allowed. If this dog was a service animal it was not trained properly, and the owners should have been asked to leave. Just my opinion. The good thing is I do not have to go back their to eat!

I generally love Golden Corral but I feel this location needs some updating. Feels outdated and dingy when you walk inside. Waitress and other staff I interacted with were very friendly and had positive attitudes. The food didnt seem very fresh. Ive had better food at different locations. Small buffet compared to other Golden Corral. If you are looking for a cheap buffet near by, this is the place. Just dont expect anything spectacular.

This buffet has got to be the worst. Many of the handles that the customers are touching are laying in the food. They walk in from parking lot and dont even wash their hands and head up to contaminating the food with their grimy hands. I received a prompt refund when I refused to eat off the buffet. A friend of mine found a used band aid in his soup at a different Golden Coral in Florida.Yuk. I now will not patronize buffet style restaurants.

The food here was terrible!! This golden corral has the smallest selection of any we have ever been to. Even the "fresh" fruits and veggies made our stomachs turn. The only plus was the really nice waitress. We used to go to golden corral all the time, but after eating at this one Im not sure well ever go back. All the food was poorly cooked and watered down. Even the rolls and bourbon chicken were nasty. Dont waste your time here.

The food options were very basic with most of the hot things having been around a while. The Sunday carver foods were dried out or nearly out. The overall cleanliness was below standard with the condiments just scattered all over the tables, and the womens bathroom was disgusting. Definitely dont see myself going back to this one. Our server was very adept, though and always there to take plates and refills.

Just like most things in life. There can be bad days. Overall , I have enjoyed the food go often the price is great for all you get. Have enjoyed eating there I would say 9.5 times out of 10 Had only one experience where the steak was too tough to chew. But came back for more and going again tonight want some hotwings.

Their breakfast is amazing! The food is very good for all meals. Always hot and big variety. The servers are pretty absent and the line in the beginning to pay and get drinks is always slow moving. But overall very good food if you dont mind an empty cup and stack of plates on the table.

Dont listen to the other critical reviews. Ive been her more than a dozen times and have had no problems whatsoever! The service is friendly, the food selection and quality is great, and I have no clue why anyone would pass on this lovely place. Highly recommend!

Nasty, Terrible Food, WiIl NEVER GO BACK .The chairs were filthy with fingerprints and food particles. Food bad. Got sick and had to go to the emergency room. Come to find out fron the Doctor... the green beans were contaminated !!! Dont GO !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I had the prime and the chef did an awesome job. Its hit or miss, the other chefs that work there dont make the cut. The food most generally is warm to hot. Ive been there before when it definitely was not up to safety code.

Help was great. A little bit upset, my butterfly shrimp was good until I bit into one that was Cajon. Im allergic to the spices in it. Not sure what happened but now I am in PAIN!!!# hey cook please labels would be nice.

Friendly staff... waitresses are awesome. Grill food is always delicious. Arent many other food choices.... would love to see more of a variety. Bathrooms need to be kept up on a little better through out the day.

The staff tries hard to please but the people and the atmosphere are gross.especially the kids sticking their fingers in the chocolate fountain and in the food.If its empty which it usually isnt it can be good.

I was very disappointed that I couldnt use my birthday free meal.. I made a mistake and selected the Ocala restaurant instead of the Inverness one.. you would think they could honor it. I was very sad

Salt, salt and more salt. Everything ruined by too much SALT. Did I say salt? Love Golden Corral- in other places. Unfortunately, the cooks here salt the food way beyond taste.

Great all-you-can-eat place you just gotta be extra careful if youre bringing smaller children, my little sister has been knocked down twice by other greedy customers.
