4:00 Saturday i parked in a end spot as usual to accommodate getting the children out of the car seats with room and the end spot so we can get back in only to find that someone in a little whie sedan parked real close to my vehicle so i had to back out and try to drive around the front to get the family. Many other cars were parked ;wherever they could fit making it a close call when attempting to maneuver around .There was no pick up area so parking in front , stopped other patrons from driving through because i had to block the driveway to load up my passengers. Chaos ensued. Our party of twelve was not very welcome by hostess but the party of 25 had tables waiting. I had called ahead that day and was assured we would be accommodated, we did get seated eventually but right next to the patio dining doorway which was not a nice place to sit and enjoy the views because of the constant procession of staff and patrons entering and exiting through this one door. The hostess was just too harsh or brass to my liking and argumentative, but once seated she was out of site and out of mind. Our waitress was real nice but quiet and took our orders without any issues.. The soda and tea drinks came out in a 12 ounce cheap plastic cup and we were not even offered any refills so the cups just sat there empty..i guess i should have asked but i was busy trying to socialize with family. My famous Pub burger was tasteless with a tiny bun,too thick slices of onion and tomato and fake looking swiss cheese. The french fries had a horrible oily flavor. My five year old grandson didnt even eat them even with the high fructose catsup needed to overpower any real food flavor.I think the food was sitting for some time before it came out. The breaded chicken McBurneys were real chicken breaded nicely yet very dry and overcooked.. The ribs ,,were sent back for something else due to the consistency and overdone meat with no flavor.. Needless to say we will not return to The Pub in Indian Shores. In short parking was chaotic with no clear markings or order in the lot, the seating provided was not in a real comfortable area, the food was bland and overcooked.

My wife and I have been patrons of this restaurant for almost 2 years. Not once have i ever been charged for asking for some remoulade on the side. Tonight we decided to go for dinner and I asked for remoulade - same as I have every time I have ever been to this restaurant. The waitress informed me that there was an up charge for that. I said... wait... what? Since when? They call it a sauce, I call it a condiment. Regardless, Im offended at being charged for what is basically mayo and some hot sauce that I want to put on my burger instead of ketchup and mustard. What was worse is the argument with a manager about it while my food was getting cold. Well, heres the thing Manager Bill... you lost a customer tonight. Not because of the sauce, but because of your attitude about the situation. Whether its a sauce or a condiment, I wanted it on my burger. And while you comped me the sauce tonight, you taking the time to condescendingly educate me on the difference between condiments and sauces - complete with visuals aids in the forms of a bucket of ketchup, mustard and hotsauce - didnt help. Son, Im old enough to be your father. I dont let my own children talk to me like that. It only pissed off both me and my wife. Bravo. What does Manager Bill win for his battle with a customer over a 10c cup of sauce? Well, Manager Bill... In fact, you lost at least 11 customers tonight because none of my club will set foot in your restaurant again... over a 10 cent TOPS cup of remoulade. Well all be down the road at Gators where the remoulade flows like the waters of the Mississippi. Remember that each of those 11 people knows at least 11 more people. You do the math. Finally, the food has become mediocre. The shrimp my wife had clearly came out of a frozen box. The burger was plain and tasteless - thank God I finally got that remoulade. The portions used to be filling - this was the first time we have ever left without a container of leftovers. This place was a MUST STOP every time we boated up the intercoastal. Not anymore. Were done. Youll find us down the road at Johns Pass.

Edit#### went back to give the pub a second chance, the GM said because I wrote a bad review, he refused to serve us. ### I have nothing to say I am speechless. l Frequent The pub few times a week by boat. A few months back a friend said they were treated by the GM Dell very poorly. We should stop going. We Ignored there concerns and here we are. In the same position. I was not that upset about the mishaps of misinformation, untill I talked with the GM and manager. They were beyond disrespectful, embarrassed us, rude and we will never return until the GM is dismissed. We called spoke to the hostess, who put us on hold to find out if they did cook your catch. I checked because under new ownership, they did this 2 months ago for us. She said yes, its 13.95. We took a long boat ride, they took our order and fish to there kitchen. Returned..... 40min later and said we are not doing that anymore. The manager said Its illegal in the state of Fla. YOU are not food handelers are you? Anyway long story. The GM came out to be obnoxious, loud, rude, disrespectful and replied people a few weeks ago said they dont like how we prepare there fish, so I wont cook it for customers. Continue to tell me my opinion wont change this place and he could care less about my inconvenience. That its waterfront and he will always have customers. I will asure him it will be alot less if he continues to treat customers in this manner. *****I will be back , I love it there, I love the staff, bartenders, and atmosphere. I have been a customer over 10 years. However over the past year things are deteriorating. I will give it another shot if he is not in charge. We eat out 5 days a week. We love dining out, we have never been treated so terrible.

To start we has called just minutes before to see if they took reservations. They said no but that they were not that busy. So we came down. We were quickly seated. We waited for about 20 minutes to order drinks. Then another 22 minutes just to order something. No I dont normally time my service but after the first 20 minutes just get drinks ordered I took notice. When I finally literally put out my menu to order another ice tea. I asked for two due way things were going. At the 42 minute mark after we ordered our food our very nice server who was obviously overwhelmed said " just to be honest it will be 30 to 45 more minutes." We appreciated the honesty and decided to stay. WHOA what a mistake. Now please keep in mind I had already complained to manager on duty. She said she was not sure why it got so busy. I left the table to take a phone call. When I returned I found that the manager had come to the table to offer us some complimentary bread that was normally offered when you first get there but was not. At this point our party was really hungry and my mother in-law grabbed a piece of bread. She told my wife it tasted stale. My wife looked at the bread and it was covered with mold on the bottoms of the rolls. Crazy was that the manager was just walking by when she heard my wife state " This is just going from bad to worse". At that point we were rather turned off. The manager offered us a discount and or free desserts. We declined the desserts for obvious reasons. If I would have been the manager I would have comped the entire meal. We gave our server the 30% they gave us off. We really felt bad for her. Can you say "Service Recovery training needed".
