Wife and I used to go there often for pizza at lunch time on Saturdays. Eat in the restaurant, not take out. Got friendly with the waitress, her husband worked in the kitchen making pizza for 3 years. Suddenly the pizza turned to crap. Soggy and loaded with sauce, black crust. Asked the waitress...whats the problem? Her husband the pizza maker asked for a pay raise. They told him no, and he quit. The pizza was never the same. Had dinner there once, bad. Gave it a second try for dinner again, worse. The food is 3rd rate and lousy. Saw two roaches crawling up the wall. Used the rest room.....Filthy! Service, rude and slow. Thats it...We never went back again. About 8 months later we see the Towne House Restaurant on the TV news. They were investigated. Rodent droppings found in the kitchen. Roach infestation, Mold and mildew found in the kitchen and dining room. The list of health department violations was long. Looking back, I realized the place always looked dark and dingy. I think they kept it dark to hide the filth. People who eat there and think the Italian food is so good...dont know any better. Those people dont have a clue about what good quality Italian restaurant food is. Only one star. Because there is no.....minus one star.

We have been going to Towne House off and on for 2 years. Each time we left it was because of bad service. We began again and lo and behold, with no one in the restaurant, we got our garlic pizza, which has been ordered every Thursday, after 50 minutes. Then we see there is no garlic. We sent it back and said do not put raw garlic. We received it back with, you guessed it, raw garlic. We asked for the manager and after 10 minutes of waiting we left and our 6 other friends finished their meals. On the way out to the parking lot, the manager opened the side kitchen door and screamed out "and dont come back". I assure you we will not and neither will our friends. Again I remind you that there was no one there other than our party during the time we waited for the manager. There was no one there when we sat down and 2 other couples came in during that time we were waiting for our order, ordered, ate, and left. I wrote a letter to the owner at his home and he never bothered to respond.

This part of Florida has no shortage of pizzerias. Most of them are average; nothing special. Towne House is easily one level above the majority of pizza shops in the vicinity. They offer a thin and thick crust. The quality of ingredients is an obvious reason why they are unlike many "cheapie" pizza joints. For the price, Towne House is worth the effort. As for the restaurant, youre bound to be a bit disappointed. The vinyl table coverings and standard furnishings leave something to be desired. This is not a "first date" place. But, if I had the choice between delicious food at an average looking site, or a site with real ambience but lackluster food, Id choose the former, and thats what Towne House is. The staff is friendly enough and the prices are reasonable. Two large pizzas, an antipasto, some meatballs in sauce and drinks for 7 people totaled about $55 (not including tip). This place is recommended.

BEST FOOD & SERVICE EVER! We ordered baked ziti, which came with salad and bread, and a pizza. The garlic bread was fresh AND homemade! The baked ziti was super cheesy and better than i make myself! The pizza was loaded with fresh ingredients and packed with meats...WORTH EVERY PENNY! Someone else complained on their review about the salad bar, but it was all fresh and on ice, so i dont know what that guy was talking about...it was so delicious I ate 3 bowls of salad and my 7 year old ate a salad also. As for the service, the waitress was polite and our food arrived super fast, all while the restaurant was packed! I highly recommend this place to everyone!

Ordered medium wings, husband said there was no seasoning just grease and had to add his own Buffalo sauce, complained that they were small and hardly any meat. My daughters fries were not cooked thoroughly they were soggy and limp instead of crunchy and golden like a fry is supposed to be. The pizza was OK and my calzone was good. But definitely not worth 30 dollars for everything... My family ate here for years, havent tried the place in a few years and they have definitely lost their touch. Will not be a returning customer :( unless its for a calzone...

Very disappointed with the servings here. SKIMPY would be an understatement. Perhaps this place has changed hands? My fiance and I both ordered a sausage and pepper hero and there was hardly any sausage on the bread. One half of his sandwich had 4 pieces of small sausage Four! I actually took a pic of it, because I couldnt believe it. The food wasnt even that good. We were still hungry when we left, so we ate left over pasta when we got home. That is pathetic. We will never eat here again and wont be referring this place to anyone.

They are having there 31 years anniversary. My first visit. Not many people in restaurant. I ordered a salad and spaghetti w meat sauce. After eating. all I ate was one cucumber one piece of lettuce and a small portion of spaghetti. I was so sick I had to stop three times on way home. When I got home I threw up and no red sauce. Food tasted great. Sanitary conditions very questionable. I called and talked to owner. He was actually rude. Wont go back ever again!!!! Had owner been nice I may have considered going back.

I live in the area but have never been. A family member came in from out of state and we wanted to try a place Ive never been for lunch. From the outside it doesnt look like much but I was very surprised by the inside. It is very nice inside! Cute place. Would be nice for a date night dinner with your loved one or family dinner. We had calzones. They were really good. My company had the pizza and it was good too. Very good prices also. 3 of us ate for under 25. Will definitely me back.

The only pizza that we eat any more. Its a real pizza and not like something made in an Easy Bake Oven, or something that was pulled out of a box and put into a microwave. The dont over-weigh the taste with cheap fillers. We get the large specialty, and it is a big tasty pizza. We also love the anti-pasta, which is what I would call a chefs salad. Lots of meat, veggies, and provolone cheese. Best of all, they are good people and its always a great experience.

Ordered a large pizza, opened box looked small, measured it to be 14 3/4" so called them zn asked how big their lrg pizza is they said 16"... I hung up. Im sorry but if Im going to be charged $25.00 for 1 lrg 2 topping pizza and an order of chicken strip then I better get what I paid for. Pizza was very limited with toppings, couple of the slices looked like a plain cheese pizza. Wont order again for sure. Village Pizza in Spring hill is the best 10 fold
