What on earth? These negative reviews are insane or made up. Dont listen to garbage here. My wife and I just moved here and tried this place blindly after shopping over at the Pet store. My wife got the scallops in garlic sauce and I got the duck with some rice and soup sides. That was the best duck Ive ever put in my mouth, and the scallops my wife got nearly brought tears to the eyes in savory taste and cooked to perfection. We eat the same things across the entire southeast, and never tasted it better than this. The portions are huge. Im a big hungry fellow and barely finished mine. On top of this, they told me they would deliver up to 10pm all the way to where I live in the Redlands/Princeton with a minimum $30 order. Only $10 min if you live closer. I cant get pizza where I live because no one delivers there for us. Prices are insanely low compared to anywhere else. My wifes scallop dinner was $11 and jam PACKED with scallops--mustve been 30 or more. My duck was completely boneless. Atmosphere is medium ambient lighting and feels very clean. Servers are very attentive and amazing wall ornaments all around. Also, there is a surprise dinner for two on their menu for $35. Sounds romantic. I have no idea what it is, but not knowing what might come out sounded exciting. We are going to try that next time for a special evening. I also noticed they had a worker who could translate fluent spanish for customers having difficulty speaking english. Im impressed, and that is saying something after years of being a restaurant critic and a cook--Im not easily pleased by most prepared foods. That said, 5 stars from this customer. These people --ESPECIALLY the owner and manager are so nasty! They blamed me for ordering fried rice. I was like WHAT?!!? mad because they served me some really mushy rice, im like huh where is the fry is in the fried rice, THE LADY WENT OFF ON ME! the Owner/manager told me to "do me a favor and dont order from here anymore" I was SO taken back, because i asked for fried rice with my garlic shrimp, and the shrimp had a weird texture to it, it looked like shrimp, shaped like shrimp. but SUM TING WONG! their attitude stinks! you are in little homestead, fl. the ONLY reason why they get so much business is because they are in a busy mall AND people for some reason, allow chinese people to say whatever they want to them and people take it. and still go back to get their food as if its the best thing on the block. I am so digusted with how they treated me and my family. I didnt even raise my voice i quietly asked the lady whhy my rice was mushy and shrimp had an odd texture she went slap off. I was like DAMN!!! NEEDLESS to say -- They dont even have to worry bout my money circulating in their business any longer. --CUSTOMER SERVICE IS NOT JUST A SERVICE; ITS A REQUIREMENT IN THE SERVICE INDUSTRY--

What happens when you travel with your Chinese parents and one of their friends really really wants Chinese food regardless of the quality because thats what they swear by? You end up at Peking house. The name isnt even outside, and their sign just said "Chinese Food". The entire place was totally empty. At the tables there are no chopsicks, just knives and forks. On the menu everything is in English. The food we got (Mongolian beef, general Tao chicken, string beans, mixed vegetables) were pretty bad. A lot of them were lukewarm, not hot. Both the vegetables and beef were slathered in some generic sauce. Would not recommend going here at all.

Went here to try lunch buffet. We sat down and ordered drinks. Waitress goes over to buffet and stirs some dishes around. We get up to serve ourselves to find half of the dishes on buffet have less than one half cup of food in them and are congealed. Explained to waitress that we were leaving because there was not enough food. SHE KNEW THIS AND TOOK OUR DRINK ORDERS ANYWAY. She says "you can order from menu." Thank you, no, we came to try buffet. She got really angry about the drinks. We walked out. Totally ridiculous. Terrible service.

I have no clue how anyone could not love this place. I have been eating here since I could remember. The food is always fresh and taste amazing. I have tried other Chinese places in the area but they have never been as great as peking house. And for those who say the workers are rude, I dont know what you are talking about because they are always so nice over the phone and in person. It is a great place and well worth trying. My favorite item is the egg rolls! Theyre the bomb.

We love this place, and have been ordering either for pick up or delivery about once a month for many years. Theyve literally NEVER gotten anything wrong in an order - its the only place where I dont even bother to check the bag :) Its all really good, big portions for the prices. It isnt fine dining or health food, but its great Chinese takeout. They have strong accents and weak english, but that doesnt affect the experience and I like supporting small businesses.

I have found hair in my food THREE times at Peking House. The only reason I ate there again after the first hair was because the last 2 times were free, and my co-worker brought me back food. Once on Valentines day of the year 2005 I ordered Beef and Broccoli, and my beef was RAW. It was barely even browned. This place went down hill after 2005. I go to China Yan now, it is on Campbell Drive by the new hospital. Horrible.

The food was okay! The service was horrible! I got my food and waited and waited for my husbands food. Eventually he insisted that I eat before my food was cold. I sat and ate while feeling guilty the whole time. Employees didnt seem to care, they were more worried about pick ups than the seated customers. Wont be going back.

I love this place....me and my kids have been eating here since2010.....its 2016....i NEVER HAD NOT ONE DAMN HAIR IN MY FOOD....NEVER had a worker that was mean or nasty....NEVER had my order wrong....now one time they forgot my tea....but they was willing to come back to give it to me...and also give me a free egg roll......

I havent been able to find a good Chinese food delivery in the keys gate area. We have tried them all and Peking House has been the best. However, they still dont compare to the Chinese restaurants in Cutler Bay. Their fried rice just doesnt pack all the right ingredients and leaves u Unsatisfied

The worst restaurant where we had ever eaten. They forgot to give us one meal, the white rice and fried rice was too dry, the restrooms were dirty. Wonton soup tastes old and the water was full of chlorine. Some children run through the restaurant and this was very annoying. Not recommendable!!

Food is delicious. Fresh and flavorful, everything has its own distinct flavor and the rice is really nice and not overwhelming. Service could be a lot better and the delivery person had trouble finding my house but it wasnt a big issue. Worth it. Prices are wonderful and portions are decent.
