This place has definitely lost its luster. We went last night about 7. It being almost empty on a Saturday night should have been a sign. We decided to splurge on the all you can eat crab legs for 44.95 a person. The crab legs were ok but the again how do you screw up something you can just dump into boiling water. A trained chimp can do that. Our waiter was Greg. Mr Greg doesnt have the personality to be a server. He was slow, rude, condensing and snippy. He acted like he was doing a a favor talking to us. It took us almost 15 minutes to get sodas. Id actually set a timer and my phone and was ready to walk. Salads came with the meat, mr happy didnt bother to ask what dressing we wanted. He came back 15 minutes later quickly slammed the salads and bread on table and rushed away. The bread has so much rosemary in it it was like eating a bouquet of flowers. Finally after another 20 minutes the first plate of crabs and French fries came out. Crab was good fries sucked. They were under the crab so they were soggy and disgusting. The 4 fries I tried to eat had raw garlic and black pepper on them ick. Finally my companion wanted a refill on his tea. Zero sign of Greg again he went to hostess stand to ask for the refill and the check. He found the hostess at the bar flirting. Still another 15 minutes for the refill and the check. I went to wash hands in restroom it was so dark I had to use my cellphone to find the trash can. Finally we left after almost 2 hours there and Gregs wonder service and attitude.

We tried The Patio for the second time while the in-laws were in town. The only positive thing I have to say is the band was great. It took almost an hour from when we ordered to when we got our food. During that time, all we got as an excuse was "well, the burger being well done takes a while." We got 3 burgers out of 6 meals. All three of them were wrong. The well done burger was supposed to have chili on it. It didnt. My mother in law and I got the California burger (hers without the bun). Mine was missing the avocado. Hers was missing almost everything! She ordered it medium well and it came out almost rare. It was missing the avocado, fried egg and jalapeños. When the waiter finally came back with her extra toppings (I never got my avocado), she needed to send her burger back. They didnt make her a new burger but reheated her burger she had already cut into. All the this happened and there was no apology...no visit from the manager. While our waiter was very nice, he seemed very overwhelmed. This was our second time here. The first time didnt go well either. I would suggest only going for drinks and the music. The food is definitely not worth it.

Very disappointed. The only positive thing I have to say is that the building was very charming. Our service was AWFUL.... we had a party of 10, our waiter took the entire order from one end of the table, yelling "huh" after almost everything that was said instead of walking to the other side, he had absolutely 0 personality, my moms food was forgotten ( she finally got it after everyone else had ate), and she ordered coffee and asked for it 4 times and it NEVER arrived, the food was sub par, my crab legs were soggy and were served over fries which were also soggy because the crab legs were wet, it doesnt take a genius to figure out thats a bad idea. Everyone else with my party said the same, their food just wasnt that good and was way overpriced for what we received. We definitely had much better food at other places surrounding vero for a much better price. It seemed ok for drinks and music but I do not recommend it for dinner at all.

Made reservations for the private room to celebrate my husbands 70th birthday. When we arrived at the restaurant our table was set up right in the front room with all the other tables around us. We had 17 people at our table packed together with all the other people in the restaurant. It was so loud in that room that we could barely hear each other speak. I am so angry with the owner of that restaurant that he would do that to me for such a special occasion we spend over $600 that night and could only talk to the person across from or next to you. I will never make plans to go to that restaurant never ever again. I only did it because two years ago I asked for the back room and when we got there it was all set up perfectly for the large group that I brought with us. Seems like you cant count on anyone to do the right thing anymore....very very very discouraging. Eunice Golia...

We love the Patio. For dining, for meetings, for fun. Bill Brown and his crew do a great job. I met up with a friend last time in, and we just enjoyed some appetizers they had come up with... new creation. It.was.outstanding. No joke. We have had a variety of items when weve gone, from burgers to fish and have never had a bad meal. Drinks are generous and not flat or watered down. If you havent been to the Patio for a while, you need to go back and check in with Bill. Hell make sure you get taken care of. But, karaoke night? Bring it back with better sound... please. (Call me, Bill) Live music there is always a treat, so dont be shy. You have many choices while there... inside dining. outside bistro style, at the outdoor bar, at the indoor bar. Pick your poison and go have fun at The Patio.

TERRIBLE PLACE waited 20min for a host and when i tried to get my wife and i a beer while we continued our long, hot wait, they said we had to wait for our waiter so after standing there looking like idiots we found our own table, another 10 min and still no waiter we decided to google another restaurant while we waited and once we decided on going to italian kitchen the waiter came out with water and menus after a total of 30min waiting AND the only people there were local drunks sitting at the bar. we left, which im very glad i did now Italian kitchen is our new favorite restaurant and we actually got a bottle of wine WHILE we waited for our food let alone a table which was as soon as i stepped foot in the door.

Dont waste your time or money. Went for all u can eat crab legs and was disgusted. The fat guy serving our food had us waiting over 20 minutes to bring 1 cluster that only had 1 leg on it then said that was all they had right now and they were making more. 20 mins later still no crab legs. He said cooks were behind and taking care of new orders first as he brought crab legs to new tables and repeatedly told me my order was in. I finally told him to just bring my bill i was tired of waitin. Also the other food we ordered was cold so he microwaved it. Not to mention the dark back room that was like a closet we were seated in. Dont usually blog but had to warn u of this joke
