Ive been going to this restaurant with my family for almost 10 years since my home and business are located nearby. You can imagine how shocked I was to find out that the owners son Hajime Maruyana (who was at the restaurant working every time we went) was caught after planting a recording device in the womens bathroom which recorded both women and their children they brought in the bathroom. Im assuming this includes my own wife and daughter who is 8 years old now and have been using the womens bathroom here for the past 10 years up until 2 days before he was caught. You can also imagine how I feel as both a father and husband that my wife and daughters nude pictures maybe on this pedophile/perverts computer at home and maybe even already posted on the internet. What really prompted me to write this review was how Hajime Maruyanas mother, the owner of the restaurant, refused to provide video surveillance to the police officers until the police department got a warrant. All this proves to me is that she cares more about protecting her pervert of a son rather than protecting her customers, their children, and their families from being robbed of their dignity. How is this restaurant still open for business? This is why we hired an attorney and will be suing this restaurant as I recommend others to do if your wife and children had the misfortune of using this very same womens bathroom.

Compre un arroz chaufa de pollo, mi esposa embarazada mis tíos y mi hija, estamos intoxicados. Llame al restaurante no para que me devuelvan el dinero ni que pague por los gastos médicos, pero si para evitar que le pase a otros clientes. Mande a pedir una investigación al condado de miami dade. El año pasado el restaurante tuvo 19 violaciones. Por años era cliente, no vuelvo más. Deben tener más ingiene en los alimentos que venden recomendación. Y también a ser honesto cuando pasa un incidente como este.

My family and I have been coming here for years, and it has always been great. I like that over the years they have always maintained their quality of food and have updated the space. The only downfall is that their prices have increased a lot. I remember the food being SO affordable, which is why my family came here. This was our favorite local Peruvian restaurant, that we would frequent. Now it is so expensive, we can only come here on special occasions. At almost the same cost, we could eat a higher end Peruvian restaurant. Im happy that la perla is doing well, it just isnt our local small family restaurant anymore. We spent $50 on: one yuca a la huancaina, one ceviche a lo rocoto and a carafe of chicha morada. In short, the food is great, the service is better, and I would recommend to others if they are willing to spend the money.

Pésimo, de verdad que mala experiencia, pedí una ronda marina, el arroz y la jalea frío, toda la comida salvo la cebolla que le pusieron por encima se veía que no estaba cocinada del momento, pareciera que guardan sobras y será que complementan los platos, no lo recomiendo en lo más mínimo.... cero estrella !!!

La comida es de buen sabor y el servicio es excepcional. Siempre que voy con mi familia pido que me atienda Julian. Nos da un buen servicio y esta siempre atento a nosotros. La salsa picante verde es deliciosa y la Jalea Mixta es recomendada.

Excelente! Habrán muchos restaurantes peruanos en Miami, pero yo sin duda escogería la perla para comer bien taypá y delicioso. Todo lo hacen delicioso es el lugar de verdadera comida Peruana con todo su sabor. Los felicito!

La Perla is by far the best Peruvian restaurant in the Kendall/West Kendall area, prices are decent and food is very tasty, been there and have ordered food many many many times and never been disappointed, the "Pollo a la brasa" is particularly good, I always order it to go. If you eat in, I recommend "Chaufa de mariscos", Ceviches are good but small portions imo. I have also tried the "Lomo Saltado" which is very impressive. Service is good, place is clean. 5 out of 5 for me.

My family and I always go there and food and service are good, but this last time we went the service was exceptional. Our server was Renato, and he was one of the best servers Ive had in a long time. I go with my elder parents and they treat them with lots of patience and respect. The whole staff is excellent. If you want to be treated like its your birthday then go there. Congratulations La Perla !! Please keep your good staff.

I loved this place since the beggining and I came back after so many years and the food is still amazing. This is the best ceviche in the Kendall area and probably Florida. I would go here every day and would recommend it to the anyone wanting good Peruvian food!!!

I LOVE this restaurant. The staff is like a family to me. I been going here forever. The food is delicious. You have to try the ceviche from the amazing chef Pupi and the tallarines verdes( green spaghetti). Everyone has to go here. But on Sundays, they are full!!!

I used to love this place until they started getting mad petty about some slices of bread and the can of coke being 2.50. They cant give you complimentary bread cause then they gotta charge you for it. Like really? And next time Ill bring my own 2 liter.

Peruvian at its best... Delicious dishes! Tacu tacu was amazing and the pollo saltado was great, good combination of flavors. Las papas a la huancaina are really delish. Ceviche is a fusion for taste!
