Average food, terrible service but have to say that was do to being short staffed and over crowded. I was in the area and decided some authentic mex sounded good. This was bland in flavor, SO bland in flavor. By the reviews and how crowded it was inside I thought this would be fantastic. Waited outside for about 15 mins for a table, no biggie. Once inside I started to notice the majority of dinners where foreigners or non Hispanic. I guess to them the food was authentic Mexican or Tex-Mex but this food was far from that. I really wanted to like this place but I think I could get better Mexican at a major chain restaurant. (yeah that should tell you everything.) So dissapointed! If youve got a delicate palate or find typical Mexican food "too" spicy then this is the place for you. if you know what REAL Mexican food tastes like then this is NOT the place for you. Plenty of other places in Homestead to satisfy.

I gotta be honest and been wanting to write a review regarding the Mexican Restaraunts in Homestead. Absolutely, none of these popular sit-down Mexican Restaurants in Homestead like Casita Texas, Toro Taco, Jalisco, Puerto Vallarta even match up to La Pasadita. There just isnt a comparison in terms of freshness, wholesome, authentic, tasteful, large portions, than this little place right off English Ave. Literally, anything you taste at La Pasadita is exquisitely delightful and the service n cleanliness is excellent as well. Been coming for 12 years. Must try!!

The food here is amazing! Its always fresh and delicious. The staff really cares about your experience and goes out of their way to make you comfortable - even when you have a bunch of kids with you. Our party ordered the Burrito Norteño, Camarones al Ajillo, Tejas Chipotle Burrito, and a Bistec Tejano. All were delicious! The Tejas Chipotle Burrito was the best... spicy and flavorful without the overpowering heat that you can sometimes get from other places. I try to go there every time Im in Homestead.

We used to eat at a Mexican restaurant right next door and one day had a bug in our food so we decided to try another place we were lucky enough to find Casita Tejas. That was five years ago and we have been eating here at least one a week since then. They have the freshest ingredients and the food is DELICIOUS!! Ive tried every chicken dish they have but Im obsessed with the quesadillas! Theyre super cheesy with the perfect combination of crunch. Yumm yumm!

My first time here and it was a really good experience! I love Mexican food, and this has been saved on my favorites. The "Queso fundido" is the best Ive tried! The portions are big, should you prefer to share. We both ordered the same Mexican plate, one chicken and one beef; chicken was the best option. All was good, great beans, but the rice needed a little more flavor, for my taste. Ambiance and service was very good! Give it a try!!

My favorite independent restaurant in the area. Try the fried snapper. Its just perfect. I like the free chips and salsa too although its sometimes too hot for my taste. Its delicious but really spicy. The other amazing dish is the Burrito Norteno. The service here is really good and they remember you from visit to visit. The flan is my girlfriends favorite. I eat here a couple of times a month.

Lack of organization, service and food quality for large groups. The waitress took each persons order to come back asking who ordered what. Dishes came out late, wrong choices and then the filling of beef was just gristle. Could not eat it. To top it off, the check never came for my share. I told the cashier what they brought me and I paid. Not worth a second try.

I try to eat here weekly on my weekly ride to homestead from Miami shores. The girls know me and I usually have an ice cold Dos XX on the table waiting for me and my burrito being cooked. I love everything about this place and I hope it never changes. Cesar should be proud his girls are caring on the traditions. Great place.

We stopped in this place while passing through Homestead. The restaurant was very clean and the staff were friendly and helpful. The food was fantastic. I had the chicken mole while my husband had chicken fajitas. Both had excellent seasoning and the mole sauce was fantastic. We highly recommend it!

They only got two stars because the spicy salsa, which I had to ask twice for, was pretty good, and my daughters liked the horchata. As for the food, I guess if you like American cheese on your burritos and flavorless al pastor, then this is the place for you. Also, able service.

This is a great local Mexican restaurant. Family owned and operated, my family has been coming here for years. Its right across the street from the Seminole theatre too! Try the Chipotle burrito! Its fantastic! Great prices, great portions and great food!

My mom worked there for a year and she quit. She said that she saw a lot of bad stuff going on there! She said that they sometimes would have workers rinse the dishes without even washing them and reusing them again. So at least me I will never eat there

Service and staff is nice but the food is flavorless, we had to add a lot of salt to everything to get it to taste like something, it is not authentic mexican food, and too pricey for food that has no flavor, needeless to say never coming here again.

Slow and extremely loud! Busboy took our order because a waiter never came to our table. Gortita was bland, but enchiladas were tasty. Management never apologized for lack of attention, just claimed they were busy from an airshow. Will not return.

Was a good alternative for Authentic Mexican food however despite other reviews. Most of the dishes are not fresh food. Example soups. As example a shrimp soup serve to my wife on her birthday was so bad that she got food poisoning. Never again

Very delicious, friendly service and large portions. The enchiladas and Santa Fe salad were fresh with deep aromatic flavors. The salad came with cilantro dressing that I would love to bottle and put on everything. Will definitely be back!
