Terrible service. Was told my take out order would be 20mins. Waited 35 minutes and still no food. Asked the girl at the bar/cashier (Jenny) to cancel my order and handed her my receipt. After a few more minutes she said she was having problems processing the refund so I could just leave and she would process the refund later. I said that wouldnt work bc I paid cash. She said " why didnt you tell me you paid cash" I said you have the receipt in you hand cant you see my method of payment to which she replied "RELAX". I think the last time I was told to relax it was by my mom when I was 7yrs old. If you want terrible customer service, dirty washrooms and to be treated like a child go to the taco spot. If you want good customer service and to be treated with some respect drive 10minutes up the street to Chipotle. (02/25/17) - What happened to the customer is always right. The fact that you are the owner and continue to justify/excuse your actions and lie makes this whole situation even more pathetic. My order was not ready because a family member who had ordered at the same time had to wait another 10 minutes after I cancelled my order. Where I come from we apologize for bad customer service and try to make it right another time. Shame on you Taco Spot!!!

First I have to say that I REALLY enjoyed the food on the 3 occasions I visited. I was excited to find a place I enjoyed so close to where I recently moved to. I planned on eating here 2-3 times a week. However, after my last experience I wont go back. On my first visit I was really annoyed by my waters actions. Got a waitress named Julia upon my 2nd visit whom was magnificent. Told the manager that I almost didnt return after my 1st and what happened. He seemed apologetic and understanding. Upon my 3rd visit I saw immediately that the waiter I had on my 1st visit was working. I asked to have a female waitress to avoid having him again. Was told they couldnt discriminate like that. Guess who I got. Asked the hostess to tell the manager Id like to speak to him. He sent the reply that hed rather not speak to me and I should know why. I should have left right then. I wasnt asked during my dining if everything was ok nor did I get my water refilled by this waiter. I share this story and how I was treated whenever I can to whomever will listen so they wont experience the same rudeness from certain wait staff and the manager.

Atmosphere: 5 - Right on the Hollywood Broadwalk. Make sure you sit out front so you can people watch Food: 2 - $14 for two fish tacos. If I wanted a cabbage and salsa taco I would have ordered it.... but I ordered a Mahi Mahi Taco.....where is the fish ????? An unnecessary and annoying cost cutting trick used by many restaurants especially taco joints. The tacos were hidden by low cost items such as an ear of corn and rice and beans. Corn was sweet and the rice and beans could have been warmer. The taco shells were a bit stale. Service: 2 Great service but Melissa my server decided that she would round up my bill and pocket my 16 cents. I wonder at what point does she stop keeping the change. Another unnecessary and annoying food service trick. I left her a dollar but it would have been a lot more if she had not pocketed my change. Great place on the Hollywood Broadwalk but watch out for the tricks !! Score 1.8

I stopped by because I saw how many people was eating there. I was promptly greeted by the host. The server was friendly and knew the menu. I ordered the Baja fish burrito and a Stella Artois. The service was very friendly and all the staff that was serving in the front all stopped by to see if they cab get me something. I highly recommend to get the seats that faces the beach. It has a beautiful view and if you like to people watch, that will be the best seat for you. The only hiccup was that the server misunderstood me and brought me the Baja fish taco instead of the burrito but it was quickly remedied. The fish was fresh and nicely seasoned and the rice and black bean that were put in the burrito was very good. I will definitely come back and easy here again. So if you want to go to the beach and have something to eat while youre here, come here.

Did not have a chance to eat here. The host told us that the wait would be 5 minutes which was upped to 15 minutes once he was cognizant of the fact that my toddler aged son was with us. We waited in the area for the prescribed 15 minutes but kept seeing parties that had come after us with larger group being seated. When we approached the host to check on the time to being seated he told us we would need to wait another 15 minutes. At best it was disorganized and could have used the help of the buzzers most restaurants these days have, but i have my suspicions that there were other reasons for not wanting us to dine with them. Sad because I had fond memories of the locale when it was under different management.

My wife and I got married on cinco de mayo and so now every anniversary we travel the world to experience the best tacos and margaritas. So far this is the best, if I could give higher than 5 stars I would. The place is small and I think was originally meant as a quick bite but now has become one of the hottest spots on the boardwalk. Because of this service can be tough especially for larger groups but it is totally worth it for the worlds best. As 2 people we had amazing service and only had to wait 10 min during the dinner rush, server was courteous informative and just all together on point, and the food is Devine especially the corn on the cob, no words just eating. This place is a must go.

The food was prepared and presented awesome the thing that would cause me to give them three stars would have to be the fact that I am from Colorado and are Carnitas are back out here Carnitas then I tasted in my burrito I dont know what that was but it was not authentic Mexican carnita not saying my burrito was horrible but it was not great I did also get a non-alcoholic pineapple and it was amazing totally worth it for the pineapple also the the guacamole had too much lime tacos tasted good with the grilled chicken I would say this place wouldnt be considered an authentic Mexican taco stand if you know what authentic Mexican food is

Would have loved to have gone but as patrons who have a disabled party with us, we requested the wheelchair accessible entrance and were at first refused and then after several times insisting they said, "Ohkay, but we have to move everything out of the way" Which is completely illegal and a fire hazard for them to block the WHEELCHAIR ACCESSIBLE access. We did not give them our business as we didnt want to risk them rebarracading the wheelchair exit and us not be able to leave in the event of an emergency, not to mention, their service must not have been very great for them to have acted as they did. No. Way. Will we recommend them.
