Tuesday Jan 19th 2015 We arrived before noon because we left around 11:30. Older latina server is not the best. I asked for crispy hashbrowns w/ 2 eggs Over Easy w/ bacon even said crispy twice in reference to the hashbrowns. i believe even her trainee heard. Because at first when the food arrived she had forgot our silverware sitting looking at our food for like 3 minutes it wasnt funny to me when i saw that the hash wasnt crispy of course her trainee took the plate back but it came back with the bacon overdone and of course the eggs too as if it was left in the warmer while recooking the hashbrowns. 1 star because her effort in the intial step taking my order was overlooked. You know when the server stays away as to not see you raising your ✋. She then took another table quickly. After i nibbled at the eggs and bacon. Eating the only thing that came out good which was the hash. She asked how was it? (Thank god i also ordered a waffle.) Because i told her the bacon was overdone she offered to redo but it was just too late to redo the whole damn plate and because she knew she messed up she comped our two mochachinos instead of the meal threatened me by asking if i was a server i said no actually im a cook she then said oh really where? like i even know her like that? But in defense of self told her where. She was already raising her voice by the time she spitted out that. "All I do is just bring the food ok!" also trying to apologize like it was the cooks mistake but i belive it was her overlooking the whole.. "and what would you like to order today?" I said, "Well I wish you took your job more seriously." Getting up to leave before this woman pushes me even more. She threatened me again to talk to the manager as i was putting on my jacket to leave still talking my ear off couldnt barely understand her with her thick accent. On our way out the door the hostess, the other server who served us last time and the trainee were present. I just asked that the next time i be seated in her section. Because I ordered the same dish with her and she managed not to mess up the whole dining experience. I even mentioned to her that the next time i come i only want to be seated with her in her section. The trainee was listening, i wasnt trying to be rude but if thats whose training her dont you think she needs a better example of someone with more patience and would not say all i do is bring out the food? I think she cares a little too less about her job i can see it in her eyes. She looks tired.

Great food - less than mediocre service. Im in North Miami on business and asked a local associate for a quiet low key place to have dinner . He suggested I try Flashback Diner. I was seated promptly. The waitress was busy chatting with the other waitstaff about the upcoming uniform change and I got the hold on a moment finger when I looked around to find someone to take my drink order. She was cheerful enough taking my coffee order, but dropped the cup on the table along with the sweetener and creamer and walked away. When I placed my food order and asked for an ice water, it appeared but I didnt feel like asking her to her back for a straw as she walked away again. My food was delivered the same way. I was going to ask her to add toast, but once again she walked away before I could get a word out. The coffee was fresh and good, the waffle, bacon and eggs were perfect. She was ready to go home, announced it to the other waitstaff several times and I was the unfortunate target of her frustration. Would I return next time I am down this way? Possibly. I would not be seated in her section again.

Food is simple and relatively cheap. But the waitress and the manager i spoke on the phone were EXCEPTIONALLY RUDE! I call in for directions and after a while waitress answered the phone and could not tell me where they are located except Federal Hwy. than she put a guy with HEAVY accent on the phone. I asked him who he was. And Instead of replying to me with his name and title he asked me who i was. So i asked him again who he was and than again he replied with a question of who i was. Isnt it RUDE? When i asked if he a dishwasher or waiter or host he told me that he is a manager, but wouldnt say his name. What an unprofessional , inadequate jerk, there is NO WAY someone like that can be a manager or can he in Hallandale Beach, Fl.? I am from Midwest and there is NO WAY someone like that can be a manager in one of our restaurants!! Wouldnt go there if they pay me. Thanks. Mark L.

HORRIBLE!!! Me and my family came to eat dinner around 9:45 pm WORST TIME ever it just so happen to be that the computer system shut down mad house!! I waited 30 minutes for a check service was horrible rude waitress forget the name smiled once and walks away while being spoken to just a horrible experience tonight !! On the other hand food was GREAT one of the few reasons I like this particular spot. I would also like to give recognition to the young lady at the front register by the name of Brianna very hard worker not only did she work the front register by herself , Answer the phone , and deal with other anger customers such as myself she did it in all that commotion with a smile on her face I was very impressed!! I thought she deserved my tip .

Hostess clueless. Waited 20 minutes to sit only to find out that they skipped right over us. Waiter was good and obviously trying to make the best out of a bad situation. There were flies everywhere. My hashbrowns were burnt, the cheese in my omelet was not melted and everything tasted like the same grease. Even the bacon was bad. How do you make bad bacon? Keep in mind that by the time I sat down I was STARVING. I wont be back.

The food is great,the manager had a really horrible attitude with rocky, moms service dog, the manager was nasty, and didnt comport himself properly,as you know rocky is a star at restaurants. The customers at other tables said they would call the news media and attorney, the behavior of the manager was deplorable, all in all the food is great, rocky,mom,and I, will never go back. But the food is great and the deserts are a wow

It was a late night and I was looking for a place to eat after the bar, almost went to dennys. I passed this place and decided to give it a try, the food was great and Im glad we didnt go to dennys. The sausage like ks were full size rather than the mini ones you get other places. The Belgian waffle was just what I was craving. Our waitress was absolutely wonderful and took very good care of us. I highly recommend this place.
