First of all, we were seated and had our drinks in 2 minutes. Second of all, my 10 year old son with ASD was able to make a sensory specific order with no problem. Our server, Jessica went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed, that little mans order went in immediately and was brought out asap. We were there as they were closing and didnt know until we left because we were made to feel comfortable and were offered desserts with no rush or insinuation of closing time. The food was amazing. We had the special, sliders, hot dog, grilled cheese with bacon, the oreo pie and banana shake. We were all in yummy heaven and Jessica was attentive, but not in our face every minute. The whole experience was superb. Thanks for an awesome meal and personable experience.

BEST CHICKEN & WAFFLES EVER!! I go to the lighthouse diner after we go scuba diving close by. This has become a ritual for me and my dive crew. The New Owners are Culinary Chefs from New York. This is not a normal diner, badass southern style cooking, creative specials, all the meats are smoked on premise (manager showed me the smoker in action), great bar with a fun new york style bar tender (friendly bald guy). They had duck on the menu today, my girlfriend said it was delicious, thats too wold for me. I always stick with the chicken & waffles. We will be back next month, thanks again fellas, keep up the good work. Lets Go Mets!! Sean B.

So recently I had the Roast Beast, a sandwich made of Roast Beef, Bacon, Onion Rings, Cheese, an gravy. With tax it will run you about $15. So my review of this sandwich is that there was to much salt, it was grease from the onion rings, and overall I would not order it again. The sandwich came with a cucumber salad. Which had large unevenly cut chucks of cucumber, and far to much vinegar to editable. Base on this and several other attempts at their food I would say they are being lazying in preparing their food, and have not first consider that they need to better if the goal is to be as good as the lighthouse dinner once was.

The exterior of the Diner is decorated in a cute mural highlighting the local life. The Pit burger, pulled pork on top of a cheeseburger, was juicy, flavorful, and delicious! The onion rings were classically good and not greasy but,the biscuits and gravy were just as equally unappetizing. Gravy was burnt tasting and the biscuits were dense, over cooked, and floury. Good prices and service with a smile! Side note... huge pancakes! (ogling another persons meal) Overall, it was worth the stop.

Hard to believe that I havent been in here since it reopened... Im not a "diner" type when "dining out" but had breakfast and lunch there and I must say, I was truly surprised at the uniqueness of the menu items and the Okeechobee sandwich (Fresh, homemade Brisket) was incredible. NOT your typical diner every day food, just like their website description says; "Established local eatery offers upmarket diner fare in a charming space with retro-decor details."

This place was excellent! The food was amazingly fresh and made to order. We had a party of 5 and walked in 45 minutes before closing and we were greeted with a smile. Alex the waiter was fantastic! He had a great personality and knew everything we asked about on the menu. We had several special requests and he got everthing right!! The place was clean and neat and the big booth table was perfect for comfort and conversation. Will definitely go back again!

I am never quite sure what to order when I am visiting my favorite Florida Diner from NYC. They have so many things that I love! The burgers, which are all from grass-fed cows, are succulent and delicious and topped with wonderful organic veggies and the breakfast foods are amazing. The Bloody Marys are also a treat and they have lots of variety with a huge menu of food to choose from - Ive never had a bad meal there and the staff are always in a great mood!

An old school Florida diner with Great food, Stellar service, Excellent prices! This place has a huge menu and some very unique selections. We had ordered The Low Country as an appetizer, this is a combination of eggs Benedict atop a slice of fried green tomato, crab cake and drizzled with hollandaise sauce. Can you say, Oh my God! Our main course and even dessert followed suite. My entire party raved over the quality of food and service.

Dont order the home fries. They are awful. Straight out of the freezer into the microwave and taste terrible. The grits arent much better. How can you make bad grits? Use sour milk. On the other hand the omelets are pretty good, especially the South Of the Border. Service is very quick but then we often are one of few tables taken at 7 am on a weekend. Our server Debbie was very nice.

The first time I was here I had corned beef hash skillet and it was great. It was in a SKILLET!!!! Today I ordered the same thing and it came on a plate with no potatoes. I said I asked for the SKILLET so they took it away, dumped it in a SKILLET and gave it back to me. NOT WHAT I WANTED. Also I ordered eggs over medium and they were over hard. Not a good experience!!!!

The service is great, and the menu is great however the food is very greasy not a quality I like in any food I eat. I would like regular style steak frys from what they serve which is sauteed baby red potatoes with my burgers. For breakfast items they go great but again really oily. Burgers are awesome great slices of beacon. Definitely worth a second try.

Got an order of their pulled pork sliders thinking its diner food itll be ok and they were fantastic. After I ate them I found out that the pork is smoked in house. Got some disco fries with it which were also great. Girlfriend got the tuna salad. She was a fan. Great diner. Didnt expect that. One of the best diners Ive been to.

The staff here is absolutely wonderful and the food is always top notch. Another thing that I find fascinating about this diner is that they are always coming up with new dishes and play around with the flavors. I eat here at least once a week and I am never disappointed. Today was the Chorizo Skillet. Absolutely wonderful!!!

As a waitress, I can sometimes be very critical of diners. I have to say that I could not find anything to complain about. I loved the atmosphere and the decor. The staff was friendly and efficient. The food was amazing! Huge portions! Great flavor! And we got it in no time at all! We will be back next time we are in town!

LOVE the food here! Breakfast is the best but the lunch and dinners are also very tasty. Huge menu lots to choose from. My boyfriend happens to work there and usually if you work at a place youll never eat there but thats not the case here. Very clean! This place really gives you that old time diner feel. Love it!

Thus was my first time in the is place and it was awesome! It is set up like a 50s style diner. The place gets packed so expect a wait but is well worth it! The service was great with friendly staff. The food is fresh and tasty and you do the have to wait long at all for your food. I will definitely return again!
