We had a coupon for a bottle of wine and thought we just try it again. We have been there before and thought it was allright but not worth the money. Well the coupon said a bottle of wine worth $30. When we sat down, the waitress gave us a choice of three and we choose a Shiraz but when she came back, she said the manager gave her that bottle and we had no choice, well the wine was allright but definatly not one of $30 value and it was so warm we had to ask for a wine cooler. My husbund had scallops for $35 we would have not orderd it when we wouldve known the price but it didnt say on the menu. We had the same dish at the Bonefish a week before and it was about $20. I had Pasta for around $20 bucks and it was good but not extraordianry. Well to make a long story short: The view is nice, the food it good but way over priced. I would not go back there again, there are as nice restaurants as this one with much more reasonable prices.

We were a big party including our young children and elderly grandparents. We were seated near the bar area (clearly a mistake). Inexplicably, the 60+ entertainer doing a steady stream of late 60s early 70s music tried to serenade our table. Because we were not enthusiastic enough -- he harassed our table until the end of our meal. It was the last night of my in laws vacation from London. I ve never been to a restaurant at this price point that had such intrusive entertainment . Definitely one of the most unpleasant experiences I have had in a long time. (If you want a visual -- there was a very drunk, large, tattooed 60+ woman called from the audience to sing a duet.) If that is what you want with your $27 lobster entree -- this place is for you. Apart from the above -- the food was uneven (bottled dressing, limp lettuce, some really tasty dishes, some really bad) and indifferent waiter. The hostess staff was lovely.

Unfortunately, we cant leave a good review on the food as we never got the chance to eat it. I found this place by searching Google Maps for a nice restaurant on the water for dinner on Sunday, during our vacation.. realizing that everything tends to close early in Fort Myers area, we checked the hours. Their site said they closed at 10 pm on Sunday and Google said 9 pm. We called the restaurant to verify their hours. The person that answered said they close at 9pm so I requested to make a reservation for 8:30 pm, and they added us to the list. Arriving later that evening, at 8:30 pm, the place was empty. We stepped inside, looking around, the place looked nice but there wasnt anyone there. After a few minutes, someone came to the front to tell us they were closed. When I mentioned that I had a reservation for 8:30, they just looked at me, somewhat shocked. We wound up at Melting Pot instead.

We have been to the Lighthouse on 2 occasions. Once with a party of 4 earlier this year and again last night with my wife. The food and service are top notch and the prices reflect that so check out the menu before going. The kitchen puts out excellent quality with attention to detail. Cooked food is served hot and everthing is fresh and perfectly prepared. The place fills quickly for dinner in the winter season so come early if you want a table on the patio. The sunset views are spectacular. I highly rate this restaurant and will be coming back.

Crappy experience. Half of our party arrived and we could not be seated until the remainder of our party arrived and several tables were open. Went to the bar and ordered a drink. Small cocktail glass filled to the top with ice cubes like McDonalds used to do. 15 minutes later we were all there and were told only table was near the band. Couldnt talk to one another over the noise made by the Ethel Merman singing clone. Decided to wait for s table outside. Two hours later and no one left their tables outside.

For this end of Fort Myers, the Lighthouse is an excellent choice for dinner out. Beyond the ample parking lot are tastefully decorated and subtly-lit rooms. Outdoor seating is comfortable, with a pleasant view. The menu offers a broad selection of entrees, and ours were well prepared, hot and tasty. However, be prepared for prices which seem somewhat high, and for which one could dine as well if not better in Old Naples.

While it can seem a little stuffy from the outside, this is a great place to relax with friends. The staff is really helpful, and got us a table away from the live music because we wanted to catch up with family without taking loudly. The menu is amazing, Ive never had a bad meal from the lamb to the seafood lasagna. Just be careful, the sign is easy to miss if youre heading toward the island on McGregor.

We went to the Lighthouse on our Honeymoon for a nice night out for the two of us and we got more than we expected! The food was the best we have had in a long time and it was prepared hot! not warm like at most restaurants. The portions were large and the presentation of the food was beyond great! We would recommend this restaurant to everyone!

I would give more than 5 stars if I could! Im always a little nervous going to restaurants with a restricted (vegan) diet but our server, Steve, was very well informed and accommodating. I would recommend making a reservation as they can get quite busy. The food and drinks came out promptly after ordering. The quality of the food was amazing!

One of the best meals I have had in a long time and I am picky. Waiter (wish I could remember his name) was friendly, but not obtrusive. Lobster bisque was flavored well with big, sweet lobster chunks the caprese salad and scallops with risotto were well flavored and perfectly cooked. The back porch and sunset topped off a nice evening.

We absolutely love lighthouse! Its romantic but we feel comfortable taking or 7 year old. They have prime rib on the kids menue, along with other good selections. The food has been consistent. We have had one bad service experience but they were really busy so we were understanding. They have amazing diserts and a great views.

I had my Rehearsal Dinner here for a party of 16, and they gave us a nice private area so we could be as loud as we wanted. :) It was perfect. The service was great, the food was delicious, and I had a wonderful time. The view was so pretty too! We got some very nice pictures outside near the docks!

Saw the only review posted in Oct. 05. Been to that restaurant many times since then, and cant understand a 1 star rating. perhaps the service wasnt up to par that night, but it has been every time weve been there! and the food is outstanding with the best waterfront view in all of fort myers.

The worst experience of our trip. The saltiest lobster bisque we ever had. Waitress brought wrong order. And top it off, my wifes lobster was raw like an oyster. We just paid the bill And left. Not worth arguing with staff. They gave us a key lime pie as a nice gesture but it was awful too.
