Let me start on the positive. The owner was polite and accommodating. Food was good. Bar service was great. However, in my 25 years of performing live music Ive never dealt with such an uneducated and unprofessional live sound engineer. Completely sabotaged our set. Every single person in the crowd confirmed and called him out on it. And I was warned multiple times that he was a terrible person to work with. People spend good money on bands that come prepared to deliver a good show. We know this. We prepare on our own time. Dont waste the patrons or our own time by being unprepared and uneducated on the sound and light system. We try to deliver a great set every night to the fullest of our abilities. But its hard when you have such a difficult person cutting you off at the knees. Bottom line. Unless that person is removed from his duties as a sound engineer, dont see bands there and dont play there. Many local musicians pointed that out to me before hand and I see now why theyve gotten the reputation theyve earned. Quote from other area musician. "I would have walked out if I wasnt getting good money. Eventually that guy is gonna be the reason nobody will play there."
