I went to this establishment yesterday and thought the experience would have been better considering theyre rated 4.4 stars. From the beginning my group understood the wait would be about thirty minutes, we were ok with that. We should have left once we learned a young lady had been waiting for roughly three hours, that includes her leaving and returning, only to learn they were out of rice and so the order she placed hours ago couldnt be fulfilled. For us thirty minutes turned into almost an hour and a half, which of course we werent ok with. Then the order wasnt written down properly and we were short one meal. Instead of having good customer service and apologizing, the waitress went back and forth putting the blame on us. Long story short we decided to not wait an additional time frame, and went home a meal short. Upon eating the food I can honestly say the black rice was the best part. If you are looking for good customer service, you wont find it here. If your time is valuable, then stop elsewhere, if you want food to remember, youll have to travel for it, because it isnt here. At least that was my experience yesterday.

I used to frequent this restaurant relatively often. Their service has continously gone down hill, and I dont think I will ever go back. Everytime I go, I order the same thing. I request the order in the same way, but I never receive the same food. They always sub one thing for the other, or leave one thing out completely. And the prices are never the same. One time, its $11, the next time its $14, then its $12.50, then it was $15... then today it was $18. When I asked about it, she said that my entree was $10... That means the side dish of beans and rice I ordered was $8!!! As soon as I brought that absurd price to her attention, the employee immediately attempted to offer me a refund. She knew she over charged me and had been caught. I told her that if they needed the extra $3 badly enough to defraud their customers, she should keep it, but that I would not be back. And I wont. The food tastes great, but the incredibly rude service and inconsistent prices are not worth the food.

I wish I could give this place no stars! The owner must be writing the reviews because this place is definitely not 4.5 stars! More like -4.5 stars! Where should I start: 1. Poor customer Service 2. Place looks like a dump 3. If you still give it the benefit of a doubt- the food sucks! Literally the worst restaurant Ive ever eaten at! Do yourself a favor and stop at McDonalds!

WOW!!!!!! I love this place. At times, I travel from far to get great food from this place. I have recommended several friends of different cultures to try them out. They all are very please with the food. Also, the price is amazing.

Great place. Love Haitian food. There oxtails were fantastic. Whole snapper was perfectly cooked and seasoned. Very moist black rice and the pikliz will definitely make you sweat, lol. Good service as well.

This is the best lunch special deal. Portions are plentiful and taste is amazing. Two people can eat a healthy, home-made meal for $10. Add another buck for a drink. I highly recommend this place.
