Just walked out of this nice little Taco joint in the heart of Doral. Doral really seems to be slowly becoming a little wynwood of its own, offering great and authentic eateries. Agave taco bar does not fall far off the map on this notion. I indulged myself in the Tacos al Trompo which is basically "carne al pastor" for those of you who know that that is. The tacos were flavorful, filled to the brim and the ingredients all tasted freshly delicious. The menu is simple but right to the point which is good. You can only have so many things in a Mexican restaurant. Especially a taco bar. But for what it is, I think the menu suits it perfectly. I was able to see the fact that they also offer Horchata and Tamarindo which any person from Latin America, Im sure would LOVE to gulp down either one of those drinks with their delicious tacos. I had always been curious about this place but I am glad I made the leap and just ate here. I will definitely be coming back and telling my friends about it. Give yourself the chance to try this place out!

Food was great. The Manager/Supervisor - White Male with Black Hair - ruined the experience for me as a customer. Went in for Taco Tuesday - ordered unlimited tacos... I told the man who was serving me I was probably not going to finish the second set of 5 and would like to take a few with me. There was no objection. Then when I went in for my 2nd round I was told that it was against the rules to take food. There are no "Rules" posted anywhere. When I asked about the rules not being posted, to the supervisor, he said "Ill work on it" in a sarcastic tone. My coworkers and I work around the corner and they are repeat customers. That type of service doesnt do the restaurant any good. Had I known I couldnt take a few if I didnt finish then I wouldve just paid the regular price for 5, which was about $9... I shouldve been informed properly or he shouldve let it slide. Instead I paid for more than what I got in return. And I still tipped 10% ;)

I had the five tacos and my friend had the aguachile beef (not certain on spelling). It was divine. Our office usually has taco Tuesdays and I think we found our new go to taco place. The chicharrones, let me tell you about them... I woke up and put taco tuesday on my calendar for them, succulent, juicy, flavorful. Im counting down the days. My friends steak was so good that we couldve switched plates and I wouldve been just as happy. Thanks Agave!!! Also, I saw someone ordering nachos.... choo choo I want in on that train. Next time! Here we are... taco tuesday and Ill have to say Im severely dissatisfied. I ordered the monterrey sampler, in .y office and recieved a smashed, tortilla glued together mess. Five (5) tacos all packaged together that is now a heap of taco innards because I havent been able to unstuck the tortillas.

Wanted to try something new and regretted it. Half of our food was brought by our server (very dry personality) and kitchen staff- with kitchen gloves. Sopes under "Favorites" on menu, had chicharron that was soggy and full of chewy fat. The quesadillas were also soggy, with a sprinkle of cheese and smothered in overly-seasoned shredded chicken. Tacos were also soggy, with the same overly-seasoned shredded chicken and the moment my daughter picked them up to eat, the corn tortilla broke right through the middle. Guacamole tasted exactly like store-bought guacamole would taste like, although on the menu it says "Made to order". On the up side, horchata and te de jamaica were good. However, we left hungry and will not be returning.

I am Mexican and usually do not try taco places because theyre usually not good. I heard the owners from this place were from Monterrey, Mexico (originally where I am from), so I decided to give it a try. The concept in general is good, but they need to change the process in which they have to put toppings or salsas for you and then charging you for it. Forget about eating warm tacos, these will be more like cold tacos at this point. I ordered the Trompo tacos, even though they are different than how they are served in Monterrey, they are okay. I guess if Im really homesick and dont want to drive far away from Doral, this would be a good place to grab a cold bite.

Los tacos de carne asada Nada q ver la carne parece congelada con gordos horrible , usualmente no pongo comentarios pero esta muy feo , deje toda la comida queria salir corriendo deje todo y ni se dignaron de preguntar xq deje la comida nunca mas volvere

Ive been to this place 3 times, I already tried the tacos al pastor and burrito. Everything taste fresh and flavors are similar to those found in taquerias in Mexico, someone mentioned Moes, but Moes is more TEX than Mex, this tries to replicate true Mexican flavors. The staff is very friendly and the place is very clean.

My wife and I came here because we were craving tacos. And we walked away highly impressed! This restaurant has a great Mexican atmosphere with a modern flair. The food was great and authentic. We tried the three taco sampler and loved it. We will definitely be coming back!

What a great place to either sit and relax with friends over great Mexican food or grab quick bite during lunch. BEST Mexican fare in town and friendly staff. Will be back!

The food is.. ok...not a lot of flavor. $10.00 for a chicken quesadilla. Places like Moes is less expensive, you get more food and more flavor☝
