This place was pretty great! Stopped for Sunday lunch - was seated immediately by friendly staff. Table was three feet from the waters edge under a nice shade right next to the dock, chairs in the sand. Server was friendly and attentive, but it did take over 20 minutes for the food to come out (except for delicious clam chowder and awesome chicken fingers for our 4 year old son). We got chicken wings (wings themselves were a little bland, but meat was good and tasted fine slathered in hot sauce and blue cheese), hamburger (good - no complaints), and turkey sandwich (daughter said was yummy). French fries (regular and cajun) were very good. Definitely recommend. Prices were fair for four people - we got a kids lemonaide, two yeunglings, clam chowder, 10 wings, burger with fries, kids chicken fingers, and the turkey sandwich for 59 + tip. Food and atmosphere are worth it!

By far the worst run restaurant we have ever experienced. Appetizers took 45 minutes to come out. After inquiring with the waitress she stated that the manager was an idiot and that she asked the manager to come to the table but he refused! When he finally showed up he argued with us that our wait time was actually 43 minutes- like that was acceptable! Manager was aloof and really didnt care. We have eaten here in past and loved the food but because of his actions we left all the food on the table as we were afraid the manager spit in it! Chef Ramsey this place is a true kitchen nightmare!

Food was hot and good when served. Had to wait over 25 min. after menus delivered to order, had to hunt down server to pay our bill. Server was nice and friendly but needs trained on service, we were the only table at the restaurant and arrived around 430. I tipped her OK, but she could have easily earned a 20.00 tip on a 50 dollar order with some better service, I was traveling with my daughter and children 1 month to seven years of age, 4 well behaved grand children and I do appreciate good service which just was not the case Thursday.

The food here is excellent however because there was a party of 60 being taken care of we ended up having a long wait for our meal. Of course the drinks were very good while waiting... The price was competitive and the view and ambiance is outstanding. While they do not take reservations as they are usually packed, they are willing to take your name over the phone on a first-come-first-serve basis. So by the time you arrive you may have only a short period to wait as opposed to 40 or 50 minutes. Do it.... I highly recommend this place.

Fantastic location with good food! How rare is that? You can sit out under the stars or under awnings on the sand while the water ripples near your feet. Or you can sit under the thatched roof on the upper level. They even have heaters for chilly nights. Either way you can experience the weather or be under cover if you want. Enjoy the friendly staff, good music and the good food. Have a dance! Watch the game! It has it all. Come early to avoid a long wait. Its a popular place with good reason!

great place, great bartender Tammy. accomodating and gregarious team!! and, also great patrons. hell, im goin back to be a regular! the kitchen staff was also eager to do some things off the cuff, wich, being a cook, a lot of kitchens dont like to do, so thanks to Kenny for thinking outside the box on those shrimp Tacos~ delish~ Cheers! Been going here a long time and this was the first bad food experience we have had. Conch chowder was fishy tasting. The fish and chips instead of being crispy was like mush. Obviously it was not made fresh and was reheated in a microwave. Both were sent back and removed from the check. Service was good as were the drinks.

Food is good, not great. The view is nice from here but too many tables in a tight spot along with a pricey menu that delivers too many inconsistent meals is a killer for me. Lived up the road and would go here somewhat frequently but stopped due to the back house being consistently inconsistent.

Open air Tiki bar on the water... dine in the sun or shade, tables on the sand or elevated deck... your choice. Great service, amazing food (including some fresh-caught fish options), and good-size portions to fill you up. (Tip: Check before you go to see whether they will have live music.)

How people can rate a great place like the Edge less than 5 star is beyond me. Well for awesome scenery and excellent food you will pay a bit more than average, worth every penny. Friendly staff, quality location and did I mention the view! Do youself a favor and drop in.

Really liked the location and atmosphere here. It was a very relaxing dinner with a great view of the sunset. Food was ok but not great and a little on the high side considering that most of the fish taco was stuffed with cabbage and lite on fish. Staff was friendly.

If you are looking for that comfy romantic place to eat this is it. David has been working there for a long time and is the best server. Sit right at the waters edge and relax with a cold cocktail or beer. We enjoy the great atmosphere, Live music, and great food.

The view is awesome... The food and service was great. We tried the gator bites....they were very good, I got the jumbo shrimp and my husband got the burger.... Over all we are leaving stuffed and satisfied!! Definitely worth the drive to Ft Pierce....

What a great water side bar and grill to visit by car or boat. Our crispy grouper sandwich was very fresh and fried perfectly. You gotta love the $3 bloody marys. Plenty of free dockage and dog friendly. Service was attentive and very friendly.

Great food (I recommend the buger with cheese and bacon!), the gator bytes are a must have, and the fried shrimp was the best weve found! A welcoming place with friendly staff, the seating was comfortable and we a wonderful view from the patio.

Our hotels concierge suggested this restaurant when we asked about reasonably priced seafood. We were amazed by the service, location, and food. It also helps that it was Monday, so margaritas were only $3. And they do NOT stump on the liquor!

Had dinner here on our first night at Fort Pierce. I would highly recommend On the Edge the atmosphere was great the staff where welcoming and courteous. But most of all the food was outstanding.. Save room for the whipped key lime pie! Wow...

We stayed close by and visited recently. I grew up in Fort Pierce and this place is an awesome place to reconnect to the local culture. Food was amazing and bar was too. Sunset was awesome from the bar and Baseball was on. Great place!

After being seated by a nice hostess, we were put in a great location which included everything but service. We waited 20 minutes and 3 servers walked past us and did even acknowledge our being there. Great place service sucks.
