Id definitely go back for some of this bbq. My standard for a bbq joint is really high. I consider myself a aficionado of all things bbq. My std is simple, if youre not serving brisket on the menu, then youre not a reall bbq joint. They serve brisket here and its super tender and good. Lets get right to it. We went with the family and I ordered the brisket & 1/2 chicken combo. Like I said, its authentic smoked bbq. You can see the smoke ring on the brisket and the chicken. The brisket is super tender and good and the chicken was good as well. it has a crisp skin but still moist inside. They have several original bbq sauce flavors from tangy to sweet, to yellow mustard and so on. I had the tangy and the yellow mustard bbq sauce and both were good but not the best Ive had. My wife had the pitmaster sandwich which is pulled pork and shredded brisket on a sandwich. She said she liked it. The kids had a 3 rib & side combo and my other daughter had the chicken fingers and fries. Both were happy with what they got. The service was excellent. Our server was very attentive and we never had to wait on anything. The food came out pretty quickly and she kept our drinks refilled. It also appear that the owner or mgr came out and checked on us at the end of the meal. She was very nice and pleasant. My one knock on this place is that the price of the combination platters are a little steep on price. I wanted to get the 1/2 slab of ribs & brisket combo but that was $25.99. I know brisket isnt cheap but for those prices, I want to be eating fine dining for sure. All the other meal prices seemed reasonable without the brisket. Over all a great experience out with our family in Daytona to happen to stumble upon this BBQ joint on Google Maps. Restaurant was clean and inviting and had a lot of big screen TVs that we could enjoy the football game. If Im in Daytona again, Id definitely go back. Dont get me wrong there are better bbq joints out there but not many in my opinion. Pros: service, food, original bbq sauces, clean & family friendly Cons: price combos with brisket is high

Boating Fun Couple

We drove from our hotel to take a chance based on the reviews. First thing I did was head for the mens room to wash my hands. There was a cook in there and I said he better wash his hands when he is done or we are leaving! Sure enough the large man scrubbed up and left back to cook and we stayed. Wheew! Hannah was our server and she was super helpful, professional and really knew her stuff. It was Christmas Eve 2016 and an hour before they closed early. They never once rushed us and kept taking new customers. She even chased a mom and her 3 teenage daughters outside that thought they wouldnt get served for fear they were closing.They came in and ate as well with smiles! We ate the most amazing pulled pork nachos with their famous Smoke house sauce on it. The food came and erything was amazing. We were so full I couldnt eat the last sandwich and asked for a small amount of ice and she (Hannah) said the gas station across the street had bags for sale because their ice machine was having issues. Well we had a 2 hour drive back to West Orlando and suddenly she showed up with our to go box and a bag of ice to wrap my deliscious food for the 2 hr trip home! Great decision you made Hannah to go the extra mile! For that I will go the extra mile for you!!! We will definitely go back when we are in town and tell others about this fabulous place. Bravo! Very disappointed in the food, the service and management. We complained about ribs not tasting good and being very over cooked. Waitress was very defensive and basically said they never serve bad ribs, she then brought the female owner over, she basically laughed in our face. Owner took the plate back and waitress still brought ticket over with the cost of the rib plate still on it. We never saw our waitress again. Breanna came back to the table and I complained about ribs being on ticket, she snatched up the ticket then brought it back to us and slammed it down on the table and stormed off. I asked her to come back to let her know how offended and disappointed we were in how we were treated and she told us that they were so busy that they just didnt care about listening to us. Weve eaten here many times and will not be back and we will tell all of our other friends that we sent there to eat to not go back as well. Just a note that if you serve food there are going to be times when a customer does not think your food meets their satisfaction. Its during those times when you show your customer that your truly care. In this case the servers nor the owner showed any ownership for the bad food served, their attitudes and could have cared less about us. They gave us no reason to ever want to go back again. So dont waste your time and money on below average food and service.

Husband and I were at the mall and didnt want to chance food court grub, so we googled local restaurants. Since we love BBQ and "hole in the wall" style places, we figured wed give it a go. Immediately greeted with a smile and told to sit wherever wed like. Husband ordered footlong (bacon wrapped, topped w pulled pork). Great flavors and was an unexpected surprise! I got Pulled Pork plate. Pulled pork is legit...juicy and flavorful. Great sauce selection. Used their vinegar based and their sweet together. wasnt a fan of the slaw but its not because anything was wrong with it...its just a brighter, less creamy slaw than I prefer. Great sweet tea! Atmosphere is welcoming and comfortable. Staff is extremely friendly and super attentive! Our glasses were never empty. Really great experience! We WILL be back!

While my husband and I were out looking for something to do after stopping at the Daytona Flea Market, he wanted to really go and have me try these bloody marys as soon as we walked in the door we were greeted very personally. as we set up the bar and ordered Bloody Marys, my God is all I got to say. it was an appetizer and a drink all in one really good quality cheese, Olives, peppercinis, pickles and two huge thick slices of bacon, on top of Cajun seasoning all around the rim. we did ask for them spicy and they were. also we ordered the pic 4 appetizer all I can say is mind blown this is the best Bloody Mary Ive ever had, and the conversations with the waitresses at the bar were also very pleasant. this will definitely be a stop every time we come into Daytona from now on if we plan on having a drink.

Will never go here again the waitress was so rude The sandwich sign out front was a yeungling lager sign when I asked for a yeungling they informed me that they dont sell yeungling. When I said something to why do they have the sign and not sell it the waitress rolls here eyes and tells me they make craft and specialty beers with an attitude. We order some drinks and they were undrinkable way to much alcohol. They want to change extra to share they want you to pay an up charge to get baby back ribs. We cancelled our orders and someone came over to ask what could they do to get us to stay and I told their waitresses customer service was horrible and that she probably be a waitress acting like that. As we were leaving the waitress scream out I hope you enjoyed you meal and please have a nice day.
