From the moment me and my boyfriend walked in, we experienced horrible customer service. We didnt know whether we were supposed to sit anywhere or wait to be seated. I was extremely hungry and decided to seat myself at the first table I saw (which was a little less dirty than the others). After we sat a lady came and immediately began cleaning the table and apologized for the mess. Okay, that was fine. But then, we ended up waiting another 10 mins for someone to come over to take our drink orders (which we really just wanted water!). We immediately told the waitress our order since we looked online before we got here. I thought the water would make it out to our table before the food, but I was wrong. They came out at the same time. The food tasted and looked good, and the price is better than other competitors in the area. 2 stars knocked off due to the amount of time we waiting for our drink orders and that our waters came out with our food! Thats not the way it works.

Older lady that waited on us was less than friendly. I ordered the tofu appetizer that was to come with ginger, scallions and fish flakes. It came with scallions. I asked for the ginger and fish flakes and the chef said no one likes it so we dont serve it that way. Actually if you just order it with the ginger salad dressing it is quite good. I also ordered the tuna tataki and it was a little fishy. The most irritating was the service!

I have been going to this restaurant ever since their grand opening, which I believe was around 1999-2000. I have known The Chef Justin ever since then. He ALWAYS says hello to his regulars and newcomers. Try the birthday rolls, they are out-of-this-world. OVERALL: Must give it a try. You will find yourself always coming back. This restaurant is small, so keep your eyes open, its right next to Publix.

From going to several shusi resterants around Ft Lauderdale, Little Japan has to be my very favorite. The food is spectacular and Im almost ordering from them every weekend. The Rainbow Roll and Mexican Roll are my favorite dishes. The staff is extremely nice and food is prepared fast. Overall this is my favorite restaurant and I highly sugest putting it on your list.

This place used to be really good, but came under new management a couple of years ago and is no longer so great. I went back once the new owners were running it and was less than impressed with the quality of the fish, so I stopped going there and started frequenting Sushi Café, a local place about two miles away

The food is great but not for take out. I ordered the JB roll and expected a medium size container to hold the rolls. What I received was a small container with bite size rolls that would feed a child. Dont order out unless youre good with staying hungry.

This is great operation just read Broward health report. We have been going here a great deal but just noticed they have 20 plus health violations. We wont be back until health violations are much less. My source is Broward county health app

Food like rolls are tricky with sugar. Most food sugar inside is not Real Japanese food. I order 2 fish soup Delivery when I get it Open in my house no fish inside.no good. People is angry servers the 2 small one Are devils.

Absolutely incredible food! The place can get packed, and for good reason. From Pad Thai to any of their signature and well priced rolls, you cant go wrong. If its busy, prepare to spend a little time waiting - its worth it.

The Sushi here is just about the best Ive ever had. Every roll Ive tried has been delicious and their ginger dressing is delicious. We try to go as often as we can. Prices are great compared to other places in the area

The best sushi in Broward County. I have been coming here since it opened in 1999 and the owner, Justin, always welcomes his customers as soon as they walk in. The service is fast and the quality of the food is great.
