Ive read so many great reviews of this place that Ive been very eager to try it. When my daughter asked me where I wanted to go for my birthday, this was my first choice. Its almost hidden in a strip of shops, just down from The Melting Pot in Coral Spgs. The place was nothing at all like I was expecting. I had no idea it was so tiny - 4 regular tables for 4 and two window tables. As soon as we walked in, we were cheerily greeted. I had a moment of worry, since there was no one there. But Id seen the reviews and I knew that so many Yelpers couldnt be wrong. The decor was simple, with a few pictures on the walls and one TV. It didnt take long before we placed our orders. I went immediately for my favorite, butter chicken and garlic naan. I asked for water to drink. Shortly, the waiter came out with an 8 oz. styrofoam cup of water with no ice. Ive never been a fan of styrofoam, as its non-biodegradable, or lukewarm water, but I didnt say anything. It wasnt long before the food came out. I was a bit surprised when it arrived in aluminum take-out containers and styrofoam bowls for the rice. But, this is where the four stars come in, the food was REALLY good, especially my chicken. I tried the other dishes that were served at our table. The only issue I had with any of it was that the tandoori chicken was a bit on the dry side. Other than that it was terrific. The bread was soooo good, that perfect combination of warm, slightly chewy and a bit toasted in flavor. I did drink through my water fairly quickly and asked for a refill. Instead of just bringing out a pitcher and pouring another cup, I was handed yet another styrofoam cup. While I am an absolute fan of the food, Id really like to see them make some upgrades in the way that its served.

This has been my favorite Indian place to get food at for quite some time. Ive tried other Indian restaurants in town as well as other states, but they dont really match up to the offering by Aruns Indian Kitchen. The location is in a plaza with other restaurants and its pretty simple looking for the Indian Kitchen sign. Parking can be somewhat of a hassle, due to the one-way direction of the lot, and lack of availability right near the front. The decor is pretty somewhat modern/no-frills. You order at the counter and find a table, there is limited seating inside, roughly 20 people can probably sit down, but there is also seating outside. There is a large menu with lots of options and prices and can first-timers may seem daunted by having to choose. Luckily, the person behind the register is perfectly able to make suggestions. The food itself, in my opinion, is priced just right and is delicious. Curry typically comes with a portion of fragrant rice, but the garlic naan is where its at. Samosas are also highly recommended, along with the two sauces they offer; I believe one is a relish/chutney and the other is a tamarind/sweet dipping sauce.

There are only two restaurants in all of Florida that made Yelps Top 100 Places to Eat this year... and this place is one of them. Guys, there is a reason for this! The owner of this place used to run Khana KhZana, which was amazing... until Arun left. Arun then went on to start Aruns Indian Kitchen, and somehow made the food even better! Do your taste buds a huge favor and stop in here. Ive had almost everything on their menu, and I go in at least once a week. I recommend the Curry Chicken if youre an Indian food newbie, and dont get anything above a 3 if you cant handle spicy foods well. If youre used to eating Indian food, or you just want to try some delicious flavor, I highly recommend the Chicken Korma or the Chicken Chili Masala. Every entree comes with Naan (Indian flatbread) and Gulab Jamun (basically a spherical donut soaked in some sweet sauce). You simply cannot go wrong. Seriously, youre still reading? Go and experience the deliciousness!

I wish there was a 4.5 stars that I could give here. On the negative, the place is small, it only has 6 tables (2 of which are like bar tables, that face the window). But the food and Drinks are awesome. Even if the Mango-Yogurt shake comes in a Styrofoam cup, it was great. As good as Jamba Juices at a lot cheaper price. Oh, yes, the food. My wife had a chicken curry that was very good, but my potato curry was one of the best curries that Ive ever eaten. The curry was sweet, just the way I wanted it. Even if the Mild curry is too spicy, the taste is still great. This place deserves the rave reviews that its getting.

I drive forty minutes to eat at this place. The food is SO WORTH IT. Tiny place, so its really more suitable for ordering carryout than dining in (the aluminum trays they pack the food in keep it hot during that 40 minute drive home). We dined in our first time and werent uncomfortable. Dont count on always being able to get a table though - there are only 3, plus a tiny counter area that seats 4 people. The staff is friendly - great attitudes, great service, and they seemed to genuinely want to know what we thought of the food. The curry is very good, but my personal favorite here is the tikka masala.

If you were a fan of Khana Kzana, but noticed something about the food is different, that is because the original owner, Arun, is not cooking there anymore -- hes now at the recently opened Indian Kitchen across the street in the retail space of what used to be a Chinese takeout place. Aruns Indian Kitchen is smaller -- a tiny 14 seats -- but the food is as good as it ever was at Khana Kzana. You will not find a better value in Indian cuisine anywhere in Broward County, disposable plates and all! Amazing tandoor breads, curries spiced to order that will please even the most demanding chile heads!

The staff on the phones really turned me off. First waiting to get an answer when calling took forever, I had to call 5 times to get thru and then when the selection we wanted was not made mild only medium to spicy ,instead of helping to find another choice we were rushed by a staff member with an attitude and she told us to call back when we figure it out, all it takes is one rude and inconsiderate staff member to turn me off to a place. Its a shame but I wont be a patron here again. With so much competition in the area they should really try and be more courteous and helpful.

Tiny place with a great pedigree. Youll have to go a long ways to find better Indian food. Ive had a number of dishes here, and none have disappointed. The garlic naan was a bit too garlicky for me, but your mileage may vary. The samosas were outstanding. The butter chicken is really about as good as it gets. The portions are generous. There is very limited seating, take-out is really recommended, but if you go during less busy times its probably OK. The owner is usually there to chat and hes very friendly and personable, and the rest of the staff is a joy to be around.
