The food is spectacular! High quality, full of flavor, large portions for the price. I went with my parents, who are not adventurous eaters and are always skeptical of new restaurants. We had the shrimp appetizer, the molcajete (delicious mixed meat Mexican stew, served in a blazing hot stone mortar), and the crispy red snapper! The shrimp were fine--cooked with peppers and onions, mild flavor. But omg, the molcajete may well have been one of the most delicious things Ive ever eaten. Served blazing hot, still sizzling, It had a mix of chicken, beef, and pork in the most magical red Mexican sauce Ive ever tasted. It was garnished with a slice of cactus, a whole roasted hot pepper (maybe jalapeño), and two lovely charred green onions. Then we ordered the red snapper, which was the whole fish, scored and served crispy, rubbed with a delicious spicy sauce. The little squares of fish meat were perfectly cooked, delicate cubes of meat that you pulled right off the fish. It is scored in such a way that you dont have to contend with bones if you just want the fillet, but we wanted all of the meat because it was so tasty, so we picked around some of the bones near the fin, head, and tail. I wish it had a little citrus to go with it, but honestly--it didnt really need it--the flavor was wonderful. All of this was served with rice and refried beans, salsa and chips, and the molcajete also came with guac, sour cream, pico, and tortillas. Venue itself is clean, spacious and well-lit. Easy place for families, friends, or dates. On waitstaff--There is a chance for miscommunication with the waitstaff If you dont speak Spanish, though they do have English speaking staff. I recommend just specifying that you want this AND that. We ordered four dishes, but somehow they thought we only ordered 2 items. It wasnt a big deal, because the portions were really large and we put in for the third item after we finished the second, giving us time to pace the meal. We definitely didnt need the fourth dish, as we were perfectly sated by the end. :)

Bad experience! Sometimes reading the reviews sets the bar too high and when its not what you hoped, youre severely disappointed. Went there with my family on Cinco De Mayo hoping to have a great time and share in the festivities. At first everything was great, everyone was nice, and we ordered our food. So about 15-20 minutes later, our order started coming in. My wife received her dish, then my daughter received her dish, but thats where it stopped. I figured maybe my dish is taking a little bit longer. 10-15 minutes go by, no waitress, no food. I pull one to the side, ask where my dinner is. She goes to look, no communication. Another 5 minutes go by, my dish appears with my original waitress. I ask her to please box it up as weve been here long enough, my wife and daughter have already finished their food and was no longer looking forward to eating there. I learn not to expect anything in life, but I thought there was going to be an exception here. Maybe they wont charge me for my dish? Nope, the charge was on there. There was no apology, there was no care in the world. I paid the bill, because Im a civilized person. I was not treated that way, but Ill be the bigger person. And its not like I was being rude. I was not rude, did not make a scene, I was even speaking Spanish to the workers there. But there was a severe lack of communication. My way of handling this, is not returning. I do wish them the best and hope they continue to improve.

I ordered a take out lunch beef buritto for my son today. I live just across the road from the resturant. How can you mess up a burrito right? When I got it home it was flat as a pancake in the take out box and it was soaked with brown sauce and melted cheese and all that was in the mushy flour tortilla was ground taco meat...thats it! It came with rice and what looked like more brown sauce. It also came with a paper bag with some chips and a tiny to go cup of red salsa. The salsa tastes like a can of Delmonte tomato sauce with some chopped onion and hot sauce...Awful!!! I paid $7.45 for this mess!! I called to make sure she didnt give me the wong thing and Maria said "No that is how they do their lunch beef burrito!! She offered to make me another but I could not go back to pick it up. I told ger she should explain the wat they make them and what the options are. So if you are going to get a burrito from there and you want it the way every other Mexican place makes it, make sure you tell them you want it dry and you want the deluxe one which has lettuce, tomato, onion, cheese, sour cream and guacamole. I dont think I will go back and try it again. And I want good salsa not some canned fake stuff!!! Yuck!

Omg! Burrito Deluxe Grande! Im in love! Best ive had! I get the Chicken in it- to die for! Amazing service too! Been there 4 times since it opened in place of the less than mediocre pizza place that was there before and now moved. Ayotlis consistency is 100% every time! Great food and great service! You will really enjoy this place. Honest reviewer- Margate resident of 17 years! P.S. If you are a desert person- you will love Ayo even more! Tried them all and Ayotli doesnt miss a beat!

The most authentic Mexican food Ive had in Florida. This place is great!!! We will be regulars here. The chips are very light. Very very good. I had a chicken chimichanga and a shredded beef enchilada. Absolutely delicious. My girlfriend had 2 chili rellenos. She loved them. She said they were the best shes had outside of Mexico. Its a small place in a strip mall but its off the hook. Way to go guys. Keep it up. This is a must go to restaurant.

I absolutely loved this place. It has been a while since the last time I tasted something so FRESH, unique, so TASTEFUL, so NATURAL, so colorful, so full of flavors. I can tell this is HOMEMADE food. You wont regret. Also the service was superb. They took our party of 8 just an hour before closing, and they were absolutely welcoming. The server was on point with appetizers, re-fills, beverages, etc. Thank you guys! We will be back for sure!

Only reason Im giving it one star is because the service was good. Food on the other hand was terrible to say the least. We ordered the melted cheese appetizer , sadly it was not authentic. The cheese felt like it was canned. Next, tortilla soup, make pretend you were eating raw chicken stock. As for the chile rellenos, horrible. Worst part, we ended up I the bathroom all night.

Consistently good food and friendly service at this family-owned spot. A lot of unique dishes that you dont see in typical tex-mex spots. Have been here several times and have never been disappointed. The food experience is just about on par with Casa Maya And Casa Frida, but the atmosphere could use a bit of an upgrade. Highly recommended.

The service was poor and they did not ask how I would like my steak cooked. It was significantly overcooked, some might say charred. Myself and others in my party received incorrect orders. The food took a long time to arrive, and thats being generous, even though we were one of few people there that night.
