This was a pleasant first visit for my son and me. Judging from the number of vehicles parked outside when we arrived, we were concerned that wed wait for a table. However, the restaurant is larger than it seems from the outside and we were greeted cheerfully and seated promptly. Decorated for Halloween, the atmosphere was casual, cozy and fairly comfortable, though the music was a bit loud. I tried the pumpkin bisque, which was wonderful. I found the Alpine Swiss cheese fondue bitter and tasting strongly of alcohol. It was happily and immediately replaced with something better. Our server informed me that this was a common occurrence, which is something management should correct. My son ordered the sirloin and I tried the filet mignon. Both were tender and well-seasoned, and we enjoyed cooking on the hot rock. The pierogies and the broth with vegetables and pasta would be better replaced with more potatoes and broccoli or a cooked mixed vegetable dish to accompany the entrees. The broth did contain mushrooms, which are always a plus for me. We shared a Colorado Mudslide chocolate fondue for dessert. The chocolate, served with an array of tidbits for dipping, was heavenly, though the fruit pieces could have been larger and fresher. The menu features many options for a variety of tastes and budgets. I would definitely return to try the shrimp, which I overheard another diner saying was amazing. Overall, we had a very good experience, which could become excellent with a few tweaks.

Great place for having a dinner and activity experience. I went here with my girlfriend and another couple and we ordered two cheese pots and a chocolate pot and had a great time. Our server was excellent and helped explain the whole menu process and let us customize the experience a bit to fit our needs. The Santa Fe chipotle is hot but very flavorful, and complemented well with a more basic pot for alternating bites. Personally, I found the first trail ($14) to be plenty of food, but we also finished both pots completely, so it really depends on whether or not you consider a pot of cheese to be dinner. The experience itself is a great deal of fun and the restaurant itself has a nice skii-lodge type atmosphere. I wouldnt recommend bringing large groups as things could get complicated (pots have a minimum of 2 people, etc), but it does make a great date or double date location. The only thing I didnt like was the restroom, which just felt awkwardly built with the urinals in line with the door and a stall with no way of determining its occupancy status, but neither of these things were enough to hurt the experience.

Colorado Fondue Company is a fantastic choice for a different kind of dining experience. We made a reservation because we had a slightly larger party (7 people) and they had a table setup for us when we arrived. Our server was very attentive and since it was our first time, took great care to explain how the ordering and dining experience worked. We opted for the $30/person experience, which included soup or salad, cheese fondue, meats, and chocolate fondue to finish. The meats portion of the dinner service was the best, they bring you out a variety of meat (pork, chicken, steak, and shrimp) and hot stones that you cook it on. We spent over two hours here and came out completely stuffed. The food is delicious, the service is great, and the atmosphere is very fitting for the name. The only complaint I have with Colorado Fondue Company is that location is slightly out of the way, in a strange strip mall, but dont let that deter you from giving it a try should you be in the area.

This place is great for a date. The food is awesome, and its a lot of fun. To make it easy, you can choose between different combinations which will be based on how many courses you want and how much you want to spend. You choose between soup or salad to start off. Then for your appetizer you choose between 7 different cheese fondues. With the cheese fondue, you also receive breads, chips, vegetables, and fruits to dip. Ive had two different cheese fondues and they are all good, so you cant go wrong there. Next, you are brought a hot stone with which you cook your meats. The meat options include chicken, filet mignon, sirloin, shrimp, pork tenderloin, and scallops. For desert, they have 10 different chocolate fondues to choose from all of which are delicious and served with other delicious treats to dip like marshmallows, creme puffs (my favorite), pretzels, etc.

Bottom line: Colorado Fondue Co. is superior to The Melting Pot I went here last night for the first time with a couple girlfriends. I have never been to Colorado but the atmosphere of this restaurant mirrors what I would imagine being in a cabin in the Colorado mountains is like. I was comparing my experience with that of The Melting Pot as that is my only other fondue experience for reliability and I must say that you get much more BANG for your bucks. In fact, I refuse to go to Melting Pot ever again knowing that this place exists. The food was absolutely wonderful and their waiters know their stuff and offer great suggestions.I went in not expecting much due to their mediocre website but do not let that fool you. Its a very kind, warm atmosphere and I would go again if the opportunity arose.

This was a new experience for me as I have only ever been to melting pot for fondue style cooking. The theme is fantastic (near Halloween) and the options for food where satisfying. The down side is the steak we where served was average at best though the shrimp, and pork where fantastic, finally the chicken was good but nothing special. Compared to the melting pot we found some items like the shrimp difficult to cook on the stone blocks and since over cooking is easy to do here you have to be a lot more attentive to the food compared to the traditional fondue style that is very lenient on unintentionally long cooking times. On the other hand this method allowed for faster cooking. We will be back though. At easily half the cost of the melting pot, I was more than satisfied.

Zero service. Wouldnt even acknowledge we were there. We were told how busy they were and were put in a table in the middle rather than a booth even though there are many booths on occupied when we sat down. 15 minutes later had not seen a waiter, didnt even have water, and every time a staff member walked by its like they intentionally avoided eye contact. Im very disappointed. My wife and I have often been too and enjoyed the melting pot and thought that this would be a cheaper alternative. Also, the radiance were fantastic so we are very hopeful. However a number of factors led us to get up and walk out before eating and after exiting we both agreed that leaving was the best decision.

Food is delicious, absolutely love thier dessert, I would go just for that. Staff is generally nice though could be more attentive to drinks and checking in. A bit pricey especially considering you cook your own food but the hands on experience is fun for most. Though you can just walk in you often have to make reservations days in advance, especially if your going on Fridays or Saturday. Even on a tuesday night it was pretty full. I tend to make reservations no matter when as you never know if you will get in. The wait can be very long. If your planning Valentines day 2 months in advance at least as it gets really busy. Really great for couples and groups of friends alike.
