I used to work in a senior high rise and still keep in touch with some of the residents so I decided to meet some of them at this restaurant since they were going there. Things were bad from the beginning. First of all, it is very small. The woman who plans the trips for the residents did not make and reservation and yes that wasnt their fault. Once we were seated, we waited awhile for our menus. Three of us got water but my mom didnt. Then our waitress came over. My mom asked her for water and her reply was "The girl does that". Never got any water. We ordered. The only soup that was available was cream of mushroom. Two of my party had that and was very watery. My mom had salad and the lettuce was drenched in oil. Then we waited 1/2 hour for our food. When we asked our waitress she replied "I do what I do and the cook does what he does. I cant push anymore". Finally we got our food. I ordered baked ziti, 2 ordered veal parmesan and 1 ordered chicken parmesan. The ziti was very little and was penne and instead of ziti. The veal parmesan was thin and tasteless. The chicken was not even breaded. On the side of the veal and chicken was a very small bowl of penne. Our waitress did come over and when we asked her why the chicken was not breaded and she did ask if we wanted the veal breaded her reply was "I didnt know what to do. We usually just flour them but people have been asking for them breaded". When we finished we waited another long time for our check. When asked our waitress for the check she replied "Im getting it right now" in a nasty tone. When we finally got our checks, the two veal and the ziti were not even added up correctly. We told her and how to ask the manager for help. So, to some this all up: our meal took a total of 2 hours, food was bad, and waitress was rude and very, very, very slow. I DO NOT recommend this place, unless you like to wait forever to eat.

By far my favorite Italian restaurant. I love Italian food and I have tried most every single one in town and believe me when I tell you this is the place to go. Everybody in this restaurant is literally family. They bring out the best homemade bread. My husband and I are still trying to figure out how the lasagna is made. Their lasagna melts in your mouth, its almost like the cheese is finely whipped and the pasta is definitely homemade. The veal can be cut with a fork and the meatballs are pure gigantic perfection. But above everything else their sausage puff is to die for. I have been going there now for 22 years; my husband proposed to me there-it will always be Orlandos best kept secret.

The Chicken Francese is out of this world. I wanted to lick my plate but decided I had better not. The full sized loaf of warm bread is outstanding and the salads are very generous. I have never had anything at Palma Maria that I did not love! I had leftover bread and meatballs and took them home and made my own meatball sub the next day.

This is the best family restaurant in all of Orlando! They still remember us after not being there in over a year. The food is still as good as we have become accustomed to. They service is like being at Grandmaso for dinner. Maryann is a hoot. Love yoy guys!!!!

First time here, the food was very good. The bread was homemade and warm. Like up north. Pete the owner was very nice, easy to talk to. You can tell he takes pride in his restaurant and his food. Theres no passing this place up if your in the area.

A true gem. Family owned and operated with amazing Italian food. Fresh baked bread delivered hot out of the oven. The eggplant parmesan is the best Ive ever had (even after visiting Italy) If youre lucky, Palma Maria herself may wait on you!
