It takes alot for me to write a review of anything; let alone complain. High hopes for this place, Asian food at 1 AM for those late night cravings. Interior is kitchsy but nice, server was friendly. Appetizers were good. Main courses come out. Mine is decent, but I was with two other people. One ordered tofu, it was store bought and just dumped in sauce (literally dog food). The other ordered General Tsos Chicken, the most standard take-out Chinese dish. It was so rubbery and indiscernible that I thought it was steak. I switched out my drink because mine didnt taste right, and ended up getting upcharged for it even though I wasnt told I would be. Go up to counter, complained. Got greeted with arguments and them getting visibly angry with us for complaining (though still maintaining customer service voices). The friend that ordered the tofu is visibly in pain with stomach problems from her dish and they think shes faking it. No offer of discount or comp is one thing, but the attitudes of the people cashing us out is another. We pay and leave ASAP. Ill never get my money back, and Im not sure how many people this will convince, but the thought of having this bad of an experience and nothing happening to them in return bothers me. Hopefully thisll stop a few people from having the same level of disappointment as us.

This is a very mixed review with the most weight being given to our entrees, both of which were very good if portioned somewhat small. The two appetizers we ordered, however, were inedible. One bite from the summer rolls revealed malodorous shrimp that was clearly not fresh. Similarly, one bite of the steamed dumplings was enough to push the remaining five and a half aside. Im not sure exactly what was wrong with the dumplings. The meat was peculiarly dense along with the dough. Ive been eating steamed dumplings my entire adult life and Ive never experienced anything quite like these. You just didnt want to eat them. Whats unfortunate, though, is that after explaining this to the server, she removed the bad appetizers from our table but NOT THE BILL. So, half of our $35.00 lunch bill was for returned appetizers we felt either unsafe or unable to eat. When I mentioned this *again* when the bill came, she suggested I order something different next time. With customer service like that, there obviously will never be a next time. Still, the Mongolian Beef and Sesame Chicken we ordered for our mains were fine. Just dont order any starters for yourself.

I called at 11:36 on the dot (I have it in my phone records) for two orders of house lo mein and was told it would be ready in 10 minutes. I received my food at 12:17 (a full 31 minutes after I placed the order). I would have walked out after 20 minutes but the extremely rude woman told me to come pay as soon as I walked in so I assumed it was almost ready. Two men came in moments before my order came out and they apparently had a "big order." When I complained that they received their food first and I had been waiting an insanely long time she told me, "They called first. You should have known it would take a long time, there was a big order ahead of you." I responded, "How would I know there was a big order, you told me 10 minutes." She was excessively rude to me and I will never eat here again. Save your money, their food is not very good. Their restaurant was completely empty and they could not even get two orders out of the kitchen in a reasonable amount of time. If you tell me 10 minutes, it should take maybe 15 or 20 TOPS.

Very good food. Fresh veggies and not over cooked in their Buddhas feast. Their Mongolian beef is amazing. The only thing I hate is to wait till 3 pm to place an order. I tried some Chinese place on aloma bc I was starving and it was horrible. Please change your delivery hours!!!! There are tons of young professionals that would like to order delivery around noon!!!! I had to order from lucky China for lunch but they are horrible. They reuse their oil idk how many times. The delivery staff is rude. All their food tasted like old seafood. Pick China garden... its worth the wait...really really good food and amazing staff. Anyone who knows about Chinese or NY Chinese food will love this place...plus they are super polite and very welcoming...unlike lucky China. Edit: again best fresh food. Quick delivery!!! Love this place. So friendly.

Terrible terrible place. Do.not recommend. I order food from the wrong Chinese place accidently and felt extremely bad when I went to go pick it up at my usual spot a day was told I never placed an order. I realized I ordered here instead and decided to just come and pick up the food so it didnt have to go to waste. When we got the good we genuinely did not like it... we are so use to our usual spot that we called and apologized and asked for a refund. I really felt terrible at first until I called the lady and yelled at me telling me its going to mess up her food cost and was being so rude for no reason. I understand the situation sucks but I felt so disrespexted. This place does not know how to talk to customers. Now instead of me not being happy Ill share my story to more customers and let them know how rude that lady was.

My family has been eating at China Garden since we moved to the area a few years back. Its definitely the best option for Chinese before you head down University. There arent a lot of options on Semoran that are worth stopping for. You can easily order ahead and they have some good specials for early dinner. They have a 6-7-8 menu where the items are priced based on you ordering them before that time passes which is actually pretty cool. If youre a UCF student you can get a 10% discount with your ID so make sure to let them know about that. Also, they have the standard Chinese condiments but if you ask, they make their own hot mustard but keep it in the kitchen. If you ask theyll give you some and its really good. Super hot but totally worth it.

Horrible food. Horrible customer service. I was screwed out of $42.00. Received the wrong food for delivery and they would not fix it. I had to pay over the phone because they said their portable credit card machine had been stolen. So there you go, I had already paid before I got the food and it was incorrect. Manager said she would not replace it because it would cost her money. When I called the restaurant to report the wrong order and the rudeness of the delivery driver I was told, " yeah thats why we dont send him out much for delivery."They have lost my business and all business from my coworkers. Very unhappy EX CUSTOMER.

They have great service the people are so nice and they trwat you like family. I love that this place is open until 2 a.m. the food is really nice selection of Asian fusion. They have regular Chinese food ike New York style but they also have a large selection of cool things that I can only find here. I love the chicken lettuce wraps as the appetizer. The portions are really large and I feel like I get a lot for my money. Ive tried several of their noodle bowls and theyre excellent! Two of my favorite items here is the sauteed eggplant and pineapple fried rice! We always get the tea too. Yummy!
