ACCUSED OF DOING DRUGS IN THE BATHROOM AT BRASSTAP BRANDON After an exciting night at topgolf; my partner and his sister and her partner wanted to watch the womans World Cup at a local bar. So we found great reviews about the brass tap in Brandon at the Westfield mall. Lauren took excellent care of all four of us and was so knowledgeable about the beers the bar had to offer. I went to the bathroom a few times and so did my partner just like most patrons do at a bar after a few drinks. I noticed I was followed in the bathroom by one of the obviously gay bartenders but didnt seem to phase me until my partner was followed by him twice in the bathroom, very unprofessional since he just walked in the stall and walked out. To be honest I just thought he was being like every other guy and looking for a phone number, per say in the bathroom. But was wrong because LINDSAY accused my partner of doing drugs in the bathroom. We are all white, clean cut, and not from Florida... Took us all by surprise when we thought we were being creeped on by the gay bartender but apparently he was making sure we werent doing drugs. I have never been to an establishment and been accused of doing drugs in the bathroom, Lindsay needs to learn to keep some thoughts to herself or take it to a supervisor if she has those suspicions. Was looking very forward to bringing friends and family to enjoy drinks at the BRASSTAP Brandon because Lauren made such a pleasant experience for all of us as we could tell she was for her other tables. But Lindsay went way out of her management position by wrongfully accusing customers of doing drugs. Great selection of drinks, sorry BRASSTAP

I always enjoy my trips to the Brandon Brass Tap. The bar tenders tend to be very knowledgable of the beers that they have on tap. While the bar doesnt serve food, there are many restaurants nearby that will deliver to the bar. Ask your server for some menus to see what can be delivered! There is an outdoor patio that many people use to smoke cigars while they enjoy a beer. The one complaint that I have about this place is that the music can sometimes be too loud. This is easily remedied by finding a table outside.

We stopped by for a beer Saturday afternoon. I went inside to ask if they were serving on the patio-answer was yes so I asked for a beer menu. It must have been at least 15 minutes before we could get someone to take our order...and it wasnt busy. 1 waitress and at least 4 bartenders and it was next to impossible to even get them to look our way. We wont be hurrying back.

We decided to get an after-dinner beer here and it was a great decision! The place itself is very welcoming, the wait staff is knowledgeable and friendly (as well as patient, despite the fact that we asked for samples of several beers). It was a nice experience. We will definitely be back!

I read somewhere that brass is the preferred alloy for taps over bronze, but I always wondered why stainless steel wasnt part of that debate. I could see the argument between stainless and brass, but brass facing off against bronze seemed like a no-brainer to me.

Great place for a beer. The atmosphere is nice, relaxing and good for the younger crowd. The draft beer selection is vast and changes out frequently. Overall, the best part is that you dont have to fight for the bartenders attention!
