Ive been to this restaurant at both its locations (Bradenton Beach & Lakewood Ranch) and have truly enjoyed both the food & the atmosphere every time. Although Im vegetarian--not ideal for French cuisine--in every case the chef went out of his/her way to prepare a delicious, fresh vegetarian meal for me. While most restaurants think "vegetarian option" as piling a bunch of their side dish vegetables together on a plate, Le Paris Bistrôt actually created a meal for me each time, my favorite being an exceptionally delicious ratatouille. My carnivorous friends were not disappointed in their meals, either. We all raved about the great flavors and freshness of the ingredients. A friend who is a wine expert was particularly impressed by their thoughtfully hand-selected wine collection. It goes without saying that the crepe desserts transported ones palate directly back to Paris. Indeed, it is worthwhile to go in after a movie at Main Street Cinemas just for the dessert itself! The waiters we encountered were extremely kind--though it may have helped that we spoke a bit of French. It would be the ideal restaurant for a romantic date.

My wife and I live in the Lakewood Ranch and eat on Main St. at least area once a week for the past decade. As a heads-up, I wouldnt patronize Paris Bistro after one of the most SHOCKING experiences I have ever had at a restaurant. The waitress (an older French woman with a thick French accent) was incredibly rude, to the point where we will NEVER return to the location. It was to the point where we thought she was deliberately trying to pick a fight with us, arguing with my wife on every point of our visit there! A friend who I told this story to advised that he and his wife had Dinner at the Bistrot and had a similar experience, with the same waitress telling him that he should "shut his mouth" when, after asking for the check 3 times and waiting 20 minutes for the bill, got up and went to the waitress and asked, politely, for their check. He told me that the waitress still made them wait another 10 minutes to produce the check - tossing it on the table without a word! There is no need for a restaurant like this in Lakewood Ranch - There are better choices, with nice waiters and waitresses. Terrible!

We went there for Fathers Day lunch. Sat down, asked the waitress to clean our table, what does she do? cleans the table next to ours. we asked the waiter to clean it because it was dirty and she didnt, he was nice and did it right. our baby had a chair that doesnt even have straps. so we had to hold the baby the whole time. fun. horrible waitress that should be fired she was so rude. I hope they read these reviews and make note. food was ok but very small portions for $10 really wont return. sad. at the end the baby had an accident on my lap because the wooden chair wasnt able to be used. left abruptly to never return.

Worst. Service. Ever. They left my wife and me sitting at an outside table for over 20 minutes after seating us. No beverage was offered before the waiter (part owner?) disappeared. We waited. And waited.. and it wasnt exactly rush hour - this was 11.30am. Eventually, I had to go in and get the waiters attention. He finally turned up at our table 8 minutes later with attitude. A lot of attitude. Naturally, my crepe was delivered cold. Nobody to be seen so I had to go back in again, carrying my plate with me to get attention. Second crepe came out cold too. And they couldnt give a crap. I left without paying. Done.

some time now and finally got a chance to go with my girlfriend. The atmosphere is nice but casual and our server was friendly albeit a little slow with drinks. We started with the French onion soup and salmon salad. The soup was just plain bad. Barely any cheese, and stock that didnt have a great taste. The salmon salad was good though and fresh. for our meals we had a beef stew, and a chicken dish. The beef stew was again fairly bland, and the chicken was slightly better. We passed on desserts. Overall it was disappointing and we probably wont return. There are much better alternatives for the same money.

Paris Bistrot French Restaurant in Bradenton. Authentic french cuisine. The downside is that service was extremely slow and the waitress did not understand the order unless we pointed to the menu. I didnt get my drink order and had to ask for the check a few times.I had the Oslo Panini. It has brie, smoked salmon, onions and black pepper. It was ok but would not order again. Probably the best restaurant on Main Street! Ive only been there for dinner, so that is what my review is based on. Ive been here a few times and the food has always been delicious. I recommend the Chicken Normandie and Marco Polo. Speaking of Marco, hes a great waiter! The atmosphere is quaint and can feel up quick. I wish they had a full bar, Im not big on wine, but dispite that, I highly recommend you try it out.

This is the only restaurant we go to anymore! Anything we ever ordered off the menu was incredible! My boyfriend even tried to order something he knew he didnt like, and they made it fantastically, he couldnt believe it! The service is incredible as well, and the staff is friendly as could be.

we were there for valentines night and thats one of the best experience we ever had. the food was excellent, the waiters were very class and the service was perfect.even the owner came to our table to make sure we had an excellent evening. try this place...

This is our favorite restaurant in Lakewood Ranch! The food is terrific -- we love the fish in lobster sauce with puff pastry -- and the staff is professional, yet friendly. If you like French food (who doesnt?) youll love Paris Bistrot.
