There are no shortages of asian buffets in the Tampa Bay area. Having been to a lot and tasted the same greasy food over and over again I was shocked when I went to this one. This has to be one of the nicest buffets i have ever been to with out getting charged 25.00 a plate. My husband and I went for lunch and it was 7.99 a person. All of the food was steaming hot and fresh. There was a huge selection of food. Many of them not readily available at most buffets for example Moo Goo Gai Pan which was delicious). The restaurant boasts having 200+ options. I tried to get some of everything, but wasnt all to impressed as much of the selections were low on flavor. They have a big sushi selection. The only thing that was lacking in my opinion was the salad/fruit bar. Only 3 fruits to choose from as well as Cesar salad, iceberg lettuce, a seafood salad, and a cucumber salad. The location of the restaurant is great. In a beautiful brand new plaza and is VERY clean. It stood out to me that the food kitchen is out in the open and you can see the cooks cooking in clean conditions unlike most buffets where everything is behind a closed curtain. This food is not greasy at all! The waitress always got our empty plates before we could even get up and get more food. Ive been to this restaurant some 6 times now and my opinion if it goes down each time. There always is picked over cold food on the buffet line. The selection is smaller than the first x I xame here. No moo goo gai pan in sight the last 5xs Ive been here. I tried the brown rice which they offer. It was chewy and odd tasting. By far the worst brown rice Ive ever had. The salad bar has not improved.

I used to love this place, as it used to be a better than average Chinese buffet. It was once a clean and friendly place. This is no longer true. They do offer a large variety of food, and it is normally hot. The quality seems to be lacking lately. The food tastes as though it had been sitting around for a while, even during peak dining times. The service was once friendly, but that is not the case anymore. The servers are now rude and inattentive. During my last visit I never got my drink refilled and I had to go to the cashier and ask for my bill. This is not acceptable. The interior used to be beautiful and clean. It is getting run down, and the booths are now torn up and uncomfortable. The tables are often dirty and sticky like no one cares. I know the options in Apollo Beach are somewhat limited, but it is worth driving to Sun City Center or into Tampa. I used to recommend Asian Fusion Buffet to friends and family when they come to visit. Not anymore. After my last visit they have lost my business.

Absolutely disgusting. We got an advertisement for a "happy hour" at this restaurant and figured we would check it out. Apparently, "happy hour" means that you get all the left over food that nobody else ate during the dinner rush. My boyfriend and I ate here and before we even made it home we were both sick. We didnt even have 1 entire plate of food each. I called the restaurant and the manager told me: "Go to the doctor and get a report and our insurance will cover it" ... I paid $27.00 for food poisoning, and with the answer I got - this probably isnt the first time its happened. All I was asking for was a refund for what I paid. The answer I got from this so called manager was "yeah whatever" and a hangup. Im calling the health department, this place needs to be shut down. DO NOT EAT HERE.

April 7, 2013 We went to Asian Fusion because a freind said it was a good place to eat. Our visit was not as good as we expected. Some of the food had stayed in the warmer so long it was like rubber. Tea had a day old taste, the waitress sweep the floor the entire time we were there with a banging sound so loud you could not relax for the noise, we ask the Hostess if the waitress could hold off on the sweeping since the floor was not that bad ( I dont believe they should sweep while people are eating) she took the broom and dust pan and put it away and the waitress got it again and started sweeping and banging again. We thought it was alittle over priced. $33.00 for 2 teas and 2 buffets since we didnt stay long because the noise drove us nuts. We will not go back.

Came here from Bradenton and I wanted to check out this place. The first thing you notice is how loud this place is!!! The refrigerators are very loud, you can hear them from across the building so thats very annoying. The Pepsi is lacking the CO2 too sweet for being a regular soda. The food is lacking on the flavor department. Some the dishes like the coconut chicken look they sloped them on the tray. This was the only time Ill come back here for sure and unlike the people here making reviews and saying how bad the service was and still gave it a 3 star rating you guys are idiots!!!

This place has gone far down hill from what it used to be. The last 2 times Ive been here, half of the food was inedible, and nothing under the heat lamps is hot anymore. Its all lukewarm. The food is just...bad. Nothing tastes right. We also asked for a clean highchair for my 8 month old nephew and were told that the one by our table had been cleaned. However, it still had leftover bits of food in it from its last occupant. Im sad to say that even though we used to love this place, we wont be coming back.

Ok so food is good, but we came in right at dinner and lunch change over, we asked what we were being charged ($6 difference!) and she sd if you take marked dinner items we will charge dinner, if you take lunch items you can pay for lunch. Then the manager came over after we were almost done eating and sd we were on dinner. Ridiculous. We were in house 20 min.

The food was really good here, though they were actually a little pricey for a buffet. Over $60 for a family of four and one was a 7 year old! They do have a good selection, and if you like sushi they have quite a bit of it also. The waitress was attentive, and kept our glasses filled and plates cleaned off. The restaurant was clean and an attractive atmosphere.

The food was great, but we had to ask for the food to be brought out every time we wanted more, and then it would take up to 20 minutes to be brought out till finally they stopped bringing it out. As we were leaving I mentioned it to the woman at the register her reply was to busy I go get more, I said thanks but we are now on our way out the door.
