I went here for Restaurant Week and it was probably one of the best RW experiences Ive ever had. It wasnt too crowded (brunch), the service was stellar, and the food - albeit a bit salty - was delicious and flavorful. My friend and I got: complimentary bread basket pastry bread basket ($14) - bread basket was delicious enough for me to want to stop by the bakery afterward, but alas they dont sell baguettes there. the pastry basket couldve been better if they warmed up the pastries slightly, but every bite was buttery and light. I wouldnt call this the best croissant ive ever had, but it is in the top 3. appetizers: crab cake + salad / onion soup - crab cake was well seasoned and nicely sized! onion soup had a delicious broth, but i wasnt a huge fan of the sheer amount of gruyere caked on top. entree: quiche + salad + fries / mussels in white wine cream sauce - quiche was simple and delicious -- perfectly creamy, cheesy, eggy, and meaty but a bit salty. mussels almost made me cry with their deliciousness and the portion was generous. dessert: chocolate mousse / creme brûlée - brûlée couldve had a better presentation, but i was quickly distracted by the sheer creamy goodness and crispy melted sugar. mousse was good quality dark chocolate and accompanied by delicious raspberries that definitely elevated the experience from "wow" to "wow!". I think Ill be back next RW!

I was very pleased with everything. Excellent service, tasty freshly baked bread (simple, but nice), nice drinks. I ordered bourguignon, and despite the fact that meat came in one big piece rather than smaller pieces, it was delicious! Very tender and flavorful! And potato puree and garnish and sauce were on par as well! I didnt get to try appetizers or dessert... Next time! Moderately priced, nice ambience. The manager came to our table a couple of times as well to see if everything was ok. Entire team: hostess, water, manager, and especially the chef - great job! I hope they keep up the quality, become better known in DC and succeed! Will definitely come back again!

The Yelp Elite in me was a little sad to look up this French restaurant when I learned Id be attending a wedding reception here, but I left impressed. Its conveniently located in Mt Vernon Square on a strip of several other restaurants close to Chinatown. Theres a bar in the front that has beer on tap and plenty of wine to choose from (No hard cider, though). For dinner, the French Onion soup and the beef stood out. The creme brulee wasnt bad either. If youre looking for a decent French restaurant, Id recommend this place. The one disadvantage is that its really loud when its at full capacity.

We had my birthday dinner in September and the meal and service were so good my wife and I hosted the rehearsal dinner for my son and daughter in laws wedding on Friday October 23rd for 18 people. We could not have asked for more . The food starting with a salad followed by entrées of a choice of beef , chicken or fish finishing with profiteroles for dessert accompanied by a choice of white or red wine was acclaimed by all. The menus were personalized with Jon and Karas wedding on the bottom. The service was impressive and the bill was moderate. All in all we couldnt be more pleased

We ordered two breakfast sandwiches, one bacon egg cheese, the other bacon and cheese. Both came out with eggs, sent mine back, and got a cold bagel sandwich with one piece of cheese and a half piece of bacon, reheated and not cooked fresh. The egg was like a McDonalds egg, ew. While we were there, our order along with another was messed up and another couple complained about a blueberry muffin that they described as disgusting and sent it back. Wont be back here again, Ill wait out the line at the Baked Joint next time.

(I am between 3 and 4 stars). Have only had brunch here. Massive space. The staff was very attentive (there were not many people when we ate here). Good brunch cocktails. My food was good - fine but not memorable except: I was surprised when our boulangerie basket (described as a basket of breads) was really a basket of pastries (and not savory breads as I had expected/wanted). That said, the pastries were really delicious. Would return.

A charming well appointed restaurant. Over the weekend we went to several restaurants and was actually the best prices for the highest quality food we had. The decoration is streamlined but with a beautiful eclectic feel to it. Very attentive staff. Highly recommended.

The bakery is absolutely wonderful! I didnt catch the name of the lady working, but she was phenomenal. She let us sample a few items and was very friendly and upbeat. Everything tasted delicious! Well definitely be visiting again!

The menu was not impressive, some sort of American-French. Though the food was done well, I thought they could do better with more creativity. It has such a nice ambience, but seems to be forgotten, with the mediocre menu.

Solid bistro fare — steak frites are spot-on, skate is tasty. Portions are large; prices are fair. Service could use a bit of polish. The space is huge and the decor was clearly done by someone who knows what theyre doing.

For restaurant week, had the 3-course meal option for essentially $35. Everything was delicious, and intricately prepared and served. Highly highly recommend the mango sorbet, which is served with fresh mango!

Happy Hour All night long until close. Great beers on tap not your ordinary junk beers. HH small plates were gourmet level food.

Just went to the bakery part. The white cheese danish was great. The lemon cake and blueberry muffin were pretty solid too.
